I dunno if it's my age or what but I don't get the scores of messages we hear so much about. Mine are mostly social (I love that) and I can't tell you how disappointing it is to find it's an invite that's not suited to me at all. Same as I don't want to waste people's tuime, I don't like mine wasted either. Pffft, a stiff shot for that I think. Peachy

My car was stolen a few weeks ago and today I found out that the insurance company is definitely writing it off. The likely payout I'll get won't nearly cover the full cost of a replacement, even for a decent used car. Not happy.

How appropriate is the release date for this film. Some time ago I watched a documentary about Long Tan, one of the vets turned and looked into the camera and said "We won our Vietnam" they also won some respect from the NVA by burying the dead, to this day Operation Wandering Souls is helping Vietnamese families give their loved reinternment and a proper burial.

We used to sell one called The Ugly, 2/3rds beer 1/3rd tomato juice. I sold plenty but never tried one, pour the beer and slide the tomato juice down the side. 🍺🍅🍸

Normally a notification of a message now means an rhp events advertisement, today I had two notifications. These were complete generic spam messages from generic spam profiles. I know there is some capability of female guest profiles to send one message per time period or something, but surely these bots would not be able to work this way. Come on message Bots, go back to Tinder!

Peachy, Correct. But bot/scam profiles on any other site and/or email rely on sending lots and lots of bogus messages in the hopes someone responds to their fake link. Just one a week is not going to cut it. Or maybe they just auto-generating lots and lots of profiles, as the profile names were things like 54rsdtt97z etc.

Since the peeves thread is closed I’ll put it here. There was some talk about editing on some forums you can edit at anytime and people go back and rewrite history when they have been called out. Not good. The best one is where you have about 5 minutes or so to edit and then it is locked. A good option me thinks.

Because of what's happened, I've decided I am going to have to change the way this event is promoted, I have temporarily removed the event, and might go with a third party limited ticketing system like the last Qld event. I still have a booked and organised venue, so will be back in contact very soon.

The world is starting to wake up to the Chinese bid for world dominance in the Pacific basin. Its no accident we have stepped back into the base on PNG.Meanwhile they continue to buy out third world infrastructure as the quiet invasion.They threw out their 1 child policy for 1 reason. To breed and export themselves. Far away from the main cities where they already have a firm footing, it continues.The buy up of properties continue. A 4 bedroom house with garage is converted to an apartment block. One such house on the Great Ocean Road was inspected and found to have 10 toilets and 8 cooking zones. Several people employed at cheap rates for local noodle shops.They are coming.
