Since this morning I've been unable to access RHP using my home wifi. Have done all the troubleshooting including changing the DNS settings, nothing has worked. Really annoying as it means I can't access RHP on my laptop. So far it's the only site I'm having trouble with. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

MsJonesy and thanks Peachy. Bush camping at Lake Eildon, but have toilet, caravan, very quiet generator (with a long extension lead), and can even rig up a shower freshen up. Music, campfire, a drink or six, family, friends. Glamping at its best! Virtually no phone or internet so I'll see you all when we return! Play safe and have fun.

I'm only using the site on the iPad, but have had similar probs the last couple of days. RHP down but all other websites working fine and loading quickly. This will be some problem with rhp's servers, maybe too much traffic on the site over the last few days with everyone off work and looking for fun.

Yes, I had that same problem all yesterday on my tablet and home wifi (Saturday). I could only access on my phone through its separate internet connection, but even that was dodgy sometimes. Today has been okay on both tablet (home wifi) and phone (both home wifi and separate internet connection)

Yes everyone was having issues over the weekend but I think this is different problem. I can access the site no problem today using my 4G on my phone, it's only the wifi I'm having issues with.

I could not, and still cannot, access RHP via using my home wifi, only via the 4G network, since 9pm last night! But everything else works perfectly fine, including YouTube, which usually is the first site to be down if my home wifi was playing up! I don't see a problem with recognising the same sort of issue you regularly call out about photos. Just because photos that shouldn't be are passed through moderation are does not make you having one that should not have passed through right. Mind you, I don't care. I just didn't like your earlier personal dig on this thread. :-( Lol Willow, don't we all? I wonder sometimes if I would make a good reporter because I like to check my facts. Or at least go beyond what has been told me rather than taking what I've been told as truth. ;-) Happy New Year everyone... Believe it or not, the powers that be decided tomorrow is a good day to start bulk-rubbish pick up, so we've had the thrill of getting out in the finally heating up Perth Summer to drag remnants of years of hoarding to the kerb for pickup tomorrow (potentially, best to be safe). I'm feeling giddy with excitement at all we achieved last year and how much further we can go this year with the moving ahead we've been achieving over the previous years to leave us where we are pretty much en pointe. I would use a pic of me as well. Damn the consequences. Wonder about people's body art... does a photographer ask the tattoo artists if he can photograph his art? Hmmm. Is coming to an end this morning. Packing up everything that's covered in dirt including the kids! Had an amazing time despite the heat in Townsville. Will be hearing back down south on the 5th. 1400km road trip to get home. It was a great way to start the year. Peachy just drop it - Summer is not answerable to you nor anyone else bar the mods. ontology - The picture, like hundreds of similar one has been taken at one of the biggest clubs in Sydney. Maybe non-locals don't understand how far reaching their photos can be. Obviously, it's apart of their marketing! But I guess many Sydney-siders are pretty used to seeing the club's photos floating about the place. The photo (credited not only on the photo itself, but also in the forums) contains a person dressed as a Grinch, and therefore is completely unrecognisable. If you knew the 'Grinch's' FB, which many attendees to the club would, you'd realise that. It has been ignored after a number of previous explanations - I can only suspect - because it is now bordering on ridiculous. I'll give those pestering, the benefit of the doubt - and believe you're banging on about it because you're not locals, rather than something to do with not wanting to give Summer the benefit of the doubt - as someone who seems to be rather supportive on appropriate use of photos. Anyways ... Oh, and don't worry. I tend to hide away from the photographer at said event. So I can feign innocence :)

Next time I'm at HF I might say no thanks to thr photo since they are so far reaching and anyone is able to copy it. what a load of bollocks PR. Yes it has been a while! Life has been a wonderful ride the past year. Our big day is in September then a 12-day cruise for the honeymoon. Good to pop back in here and see some familiar faces. I hope everyone has been well? And I also see that some things never change.... Although I have lost my instant posting privileges, which is a shame!

If you've been to hellfire or any club that has photographers you know that if you don't want your pic splashed around on social media don't have your picture taken by the photographer. It's really quite simple.

Only use an inhouse photographer. And as Candy says she has been there, she would know that they never take photos of people unless they want them taken. So you dont actually have to say no to the photographer. Its also stated on their facebook page that the pics will be public fodder. Again, its your choice to have the pic taken, knowing they will be saved and posted on private facebook pages as a profile pic, or here. Not a drama unless others choose to make it an issue. Oh and big "waves" to Jersey. Or should that be Mrs Jersey?? Good to hear you guys are plowing forward. There's a good RHP story right there. Met on pie, fell in love and now getting married. Next will be little jersey calves... ;)

Willow - they never take a persons photo without permission first so people can always say no to pics. Same reason why people are not allowed to take their own pictures while they are inside HF too. HF is huge on privacy and respect 4 everyone. Next time I am on their FB page I will look to see if it says a photo I may be in can be used on other sites? It does say not to tag anyone but yourself I know that. But as everyone knows when ur image is out there anyone can use it for whatever purpose. I don't care about the Grinch. I did see numerous photos with the Grinch on my newsfeed so assumed the Grinch was hired by HF? I didn't attend the Dec HF so not sure, too close to Chrissy. The photographers are always different... although always women whenever I have been. Sometimes they have a watermark on the pictures and other times not. I didn't think they used an in house photographer though?? Will ask the owner the next time I go, if you all would like, as he attends every HF. Personally, I would have used the photo as well, same as Summer, if it were me. I was just wondering if permission was required first. That's all. Cheerio! :P Who am I? Hmm should I know give out clues.

Whats the big issue with wanting to confirm this with the manager/s? To prove that you know the owner attends? To prove that you have been there? Im sure you have. Lots of ppl in Sydney have been. Not sure why you want to confirm with the owner on our behalf, but thanks for your offer to ask Tom what word describes their business contract/deal/house photogropher/service. But not neccessary for me. Might see you there one day. I go a few times a year. Summer and a few others go too, so if you recognise them from their profile pics, say hi. I'm going to say that facial rec wouldn't pick up that person given the way the makeup, lighting, colouring and prosthetic bits obscure what a machine is looking for - it'll be able to put a bounding box around the face, but getting enough key points to guess who it was just from face alone is doubtful. Anyway, it's a moot point as the Grinch's Facebook profile is given in the public album description. I bought a black latex/rubber mini dress with suspender belt and latex thigh high stockings. They arrived in the post today. Excited to try them on. Well.... What a mission!! It took me half an hour of wrestling, pushing,pulling,squeezing and shoving to get the bloody things on.then it felt like I was drowning in water, from the sweat that was on my torso from it. Its definately not a hot weather outfit. It reminded me of that comedy scene with Jim Carey being "birthed" from a rhyno in Pet Detective (I think thats the right movie). It would be nice if you could filter some of your announcements. "X, Y and Z are looking for a date with you in Datefinder"... no, they are not :) Also, if we could filter the events section by those events which we can/can't attend as per our particular gender type or coupling, it would make looking for events much easier.
