If you login, then open in another tab - quickdry dot net slash r h p I haven't had any logout issues since then (using Mac + Chrome, so YMMV) Yeah I could do all that but really why should I have to? The only way I would remember to refresh every 10 mins is to set a timer... ahh yep....nope. Not happening. I used to be able to sign in once a night and leave it open, wake up the computer from its snoozes and the site would still be open. I don't know why it doesn't operate this way anymore.

I have not had this problem for a while now but a few weeks back it was a constant (didn't change anything it just stopped happening). Anyway just wondering if anyone experiencing this problem has recently updated their operating system as this can cause problems at times from previous experience. I know mac have now a new OS for download but I hav not upgraded as yet. Hope it gets better for you all.

Had been having trouble for a few days like many others here. Took a few days before I could even get onto Customer support to report problems!Claire did say the Techs had located the problem and were working on it. I was running Windows 8.1 at the time. Over the New Year I upgraded to Windows 10...still have all the same problems...logging in, being timed out, logging out, reading messages, reading forums etc. Have sent off another message to Tech Support, waiting on a reply. All these problems are on happening on RHP, no other sites, no problems with my computer :)

Our Technical Team has identified that there is an issue where if the website urls do not match, users will be prompted to log in again. Please check when you are in chat that the url on the chat page is the same as on the other logged in page - if these do not match, it will prompt you to log in to both urls. Our Technical Team are currently investigating the situation, however in the meantime please follow the prompts to log in, as this will only need to be done once per session for it to register. so that description doesn't quite match the problem - but the issue mentioned could cause the problems we're seeing here, particularly the half rendered page one that Summer received (more frustratingly when I had that happen, I could see my text, but not select it for copy n paste! ) Post up what OS, browser, whether you're in normal or private/incognito mode, and if you were using a VPN, which one (ignore if it is a work VPN). And whether you login with "remember me" ticked. My setup:Mac OSX 10.11 (El Capitan), Chrome, normal mode, no VPN, "remember me" on and no logouts/half rendered pages while also using AutoPie in another tab (if it isn't running I eventually get them) Because it isn't something that happens straight away, this can be a nightmare for the dev guy to track down (been there done that with a similar issue) so any data points could help. I've already sent them a lot, including the autopie page.

Still having problems with the site....have been in conversation on and off throughout the day with Melanie. Unless you contact her -tech support....they dont know who is experiencing problems. While it feels good to have a vent about it, at the moment rhp is only aware of 2 of us having any problems....so please contact them via Customer Support. This is copy and paste of one of Melanie's messages to me.... (yes, I did ask if I could post it) "Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately we can't help people unless they send us a support ticket that will give us a snapshot of the system they are using. We can't get that information from Forum posts. If we can see if there is a common link between those being logged out and those that aren't, we might be more help. For example, of the two people who are still writing in (including yourself), your snapshot is identical. If we had more people send us a support ticket for us to compare these technical details, we would probably be able to isolate the issue. Most of us technical support staff use different types of machines and browsers but are not experiencing the log out issues anymore. As we can't replicate the problem, we need people to write in. In her last message to me, Melanie did ask to advise if you are using WiFi and if it is 3 or 4g as that also makes a difference. So as Molly would say...." Do yourself a favour" and get on over to Customer Support and let they know all the problems you are having .

I'm just passing on a message from rhp. they thought all problems had been solved as there are only 2 of us contacting them still about the ongoing problems. Tech support is asking for everyones input so they can isolate the problem. If you choose just to moan and groan about it without attempting to be pro-active and assist in trying to find the cause thats up to you.

since I just use my own "AutoPie" thing which I provided them with a copy of and full description of how it works. I haven't had any logout issues since I started using it, and I can't be bothered chasing them now I have a working workaround. ruby_blossom - would you mind saying what system you are using? e.g. Mac OSX El Capitan with Chrome. The problems like this one can be an absolute bitch to figure out, even though the fix I gave them seems to work mostly. The issue is certainly server side, not client side.

I think there's quite a bit of buck passing and copping out going on by RHP when it comes to these website issues. This is the ONLY website I've been having trouble with. I have trouble with it using Firefox and Chrome...doing all the usual like clearing the cache, restarting etc. doesn't help at all. Clearly the problem is at their end, obviously they are aware of it, and frankly some of what they're saying sounds like total grasping at straws / deflection (if someone can tell me why it should matter if you're using wireless or not, or 3G vs 4G, I'd love to be enlightened...every other site seems to manage with these different things).

I am using Windows 10 (just upgraded from Windows 8.1, same problems with rhp on both) Google Chrome...laptop only, no mobile phone. Tried to log on this morning and like others, found the site to be down for maintenance......hopefully they have discovered the root of the problem

Perhaps they should be reviewing the changes they have made since it was first reported. I don't know the correct terminology to describe what they should be looking for, something like their protocols or coding I suppose. They changed something, we didn't. SS....I got the same server error message as you did last night, on my computer which is running Windows, wifi, and I use Chrome and IE. Perhaps they should check in on this forum everyday as I have better things to do than lodge yet another support ticket about this damn issue.

Most people won't answer back, and for those that do, we get extra window of time as they have to write a reply and we have to have time allowed to consider it. Responding possibly moves the request out of the support person's queue of "unhandled" messages requiring response. Now, where they _could_ be going with that*. Whenever you're connected to Wifi, 3G or 4G you are signed an IP address, and sometimes that IP address forms a part of the information they use to match "you" to the login session. So if you change IP address, you might need to login again. When you're on wifi you're generally at home or somewhere where the network is stable, and you'll keep the same IP address for days or weeks at a time. If you are on 3G or 4G your IP might change frequently e.g. you drop out from a 4G area and down to 3G and your IP changes, or from tower to tower, or while you've gone to standby in the few minutes between sending posts. I'd like to know more about the reasoning they asked, because if your IP is changing they should be able to see that very easily from their access logs. Sometimes sites serve page requests from multiple servers, and they'll keep your login session "sticky" to one server so you keep hitting that server (Server 1). The next guy might get Server 2. Sometimes for performance/simplicity the login session details are just kept 'live' on the server they start from - so Server 1 knows about Bob logging in, but Server 2 doesn't. Bob's been using his iPad on home wifi, but then goes out, and so he's on 4G and a different IP - and the server balancing stuff sends him to Server 2 instead of 1. Server 2 doesn't know he has an active login session so it asks him to login again. The fix here would be to share active session details between the 2 servers. I outlined this potential issue ages ago. That pretty much covers what I can think of as the issues with being on wifi, 3G or 4G Clearing cache does sometimes help with certain specific problems, but it's usually given as :1. something that sounds technical 2. can be easily done by the user3. is easy to give as an instruction; and sounds like you've given a helpful answer even though it really isn't going to solve a problem. I received this response:"I have forwarded this on to our Technical Team who have identified the problem and are in the process of resolving it." I don't know their release process, sometimes even simple releases can be held back for some time.

Logging out is not a problem for me now (it was shitting me 2 weeks ago, but was fixed on 11/1/2016).I`m using "windows 7" 2010 on the lap top (dinosaur I know, but I like it).Home wireless connected to copper line.Hope this helps (techs).And i hope they get there shit together for everyone with issues ! (we all see our hot list people logging in consistently with the issues !)

everyone. It's the only way I'm succeeding in sending most of my messages/posts. I've had to log in 3 times to be successful sometimes and then as soon as I type a message or post and hit send, usually within a couple of minutes of successfully logging in, I've been logged out and am unaware of it so lose the text.

It ran perfectly on the pc all day. Which uses the phone as the hotspot. Stay logged in even with no actvity for 2 hrs. But when l hopped back on the phone shit started again.
