Out with religion..

Don't know if this has been on here as yet so I would love to hear, or know the demographic's of religious feeling here on RHPMe; Atheist humanist.Not here to ponder the why and why nots, just a general poll to those that wish to say what they are.

Yeah I'm into the moon. The whole believe or you're damned and I will kill you as an apostate thing is a bit too coercive for me. And why is it that "miracle" cures are attributed to god but no-one blames god for famines? Mike

Why do we send our children still to religious" SCHOOLS" when we know for sure we are indoctrinating them? How can we believe it will not trigger this stupid thoughts of BURNING IN HELL or YOU ARE BORN WITH SIN ALREADY? Australia is suppose a none religious and classless society......are we moving the wrong way?

Biological Agnostic Humanist with a lean towards Atheism- I don't disbelieve or believe because I don't know- What I do know is that we live, we try to stay alive, evolve and procreate, then we die and fertilise :) Indisputable.I figure all paranormal, spiritual hurdy gurdiness like levitation and seance (of which I have experienced) or clairvoyance/ telepathy/ spoon bending/ coal walking/ intuition and crazy coincidences etc to be man made from our amazing brains that we now *very little* about and that it all has a basis in biology/evolution.....and I don't know maybe we made a god lol! Thing is I won't waste time or faith with something I don't know. I subscribe to the philosophy of humanism which is a practise of human values and concerns :) I think that the need for spirituality has an evolutionary purpose and that for some reason people need it to believe in something more live their lives/ survive... and therefore I accept it as part of the whole :)Cass xxx

Fine, I will do it myself.'people need to believe in something more *to* lives their lives/survive...' ... and if that means they need to judge others, preach and try to convert or condemn....then so be it. "To each their own." I went through a phase whereby I invited Jehovah's in LOL just to bounce idea's off them and formulate debate hehe.Cass xxx

dear Cass...a trip is needed to settle this tiger within, seems your getting all worked up, frustrated...either it is this new playmate girl you have found without seeing a picture or you just needsome tickles, strokes, pet talk as the gates of Eden open this tiger trainer goes "in" searching...to tame and/or release the best within
