There has been a bit of discussion here about nice guys, and yet there still seems to be a bit of confusion as to what a nice guy actually is.  Well ...   A Nice Guy goes to the first coffee date not expecting anything, hell all he hopes for is that the lady actually shows up and if she does, doesn't run away as soon as he introduces himself.   A Nice Guy will not expect sex on the first date, well except if he is offered it, or he reads that subtle sign from the lady, you know, like smiling in his general direction.  He will not get upset if nothing happens.   A Nice Guy will contact you after the date to say thank you, even if the date is an unmitigated disaster.  Why, cos it is the polite thing to do and he knows how you women gossip amongst yourselves.   A Nice Guy will pay for the coffee, the dinner, the drinks etc, without a moments hesitation. He knows that he is the one being honoured with the ladies pressence, it is the expect thing for him to do.   A Nice Guy will not ask too many personnel question, he knows it is rude to pry and he also knows that most ladies prefer a bit of mystery about them.  However, he is willing to answer any question about himself, and he will answer frankly and honestly, and not say just what the lady wants to hear.   A Nice Guy will listen, and listen intently.  He wants to know the ladies opinion, he is actually interested in the ladies opinion.  Mind you, he might not agree with the ladies opinion and will provide a counter opinion, but he will do it in an intelligent manner.   A Nice Guy will learn your name, and remember it!   A Nice Guy will sit thru a chick flick and even preent to enjoy it.  He will do it simply because the lady asked him.  He also knows that serious brownie points can be accrued by doing this.   A Nice Guy won't try to sleep with your sister, your mother, your best friend, your daughter.  He knows all about rusty blunt knives!   A Nice Guy is willing to settle for just being your friend.  He will lend a sympathetic ear or shoulder when you are down, he will listen you moan about the latest bad guy that has broken your heart.  He will be there for you, as a friend should. Of course he will still lust after you but knows better than to try!   Well ladies there you have it, just some of the things a Nice Guy can do. How about giving us a go lol
