Quoting 'pangolin28' I can't agree that admin need to do something as it is us that need to be a little more reasonable and adult like. Reigning in your own behaviour like that takes a certain amount of self insight to even recognise that there are problems with what you're doing / saying in the first place. Some people here lack that self insight and don't see anything wrong with how they act or the things they say. In those instances when there are long-standing issues with posters, I do think the mods should be taking further action. I know there will always be arguments and back and forth on here and that's to be expected. None of us are perfect and most of us say things in the heat of the moment that we later realise we shouldn't have. Lately though, the aggression and attacks have just got out of hand. Constantly closing down threads because of the actions of a couple of people isn't solving anything in the long term and just makes the situation worse as others become frustrated with the status quo.

Is National Anti Bullying Day The day to work towards how to recognise and handle bullying. If you can't recognise it when someone says they are suffering from it, you could do with reading up on what constitutes bullying rather than thinking you know better or victim blaming. Peachy

that some folk felt this topic post to be patronising. That was not my intent at all. I truely felt there was a "gap in the market" so to speak for a safe place to fall in the forums. As you can see from the previous 7 pages...I dont plan to have a lot of input on this space. It is however...open to all.

For the sake of some harmony in the forums I will attempt to explain once again why I have no urge or need to communicate with you .....chose to do this on this thread that I started as I dont want anyone elses thread to be canned. I do hope that the mods are ok with this. I am not aware of anything within Rhp guidelines that force me to communicate or acknowledge anyone I choose not to. As an example....Kinda like being approached at a club by someone I am not into.... I have the right to say No. Just because I am at a club doesnt mean I am going to have sex with every Tom Dick or Harry. Most people can accept that No and move on. I sincerely hope you can too. If you choose to keep tailgating me around the forums and attempting to turn most things I say into negative projectionsthat is your choice. Many great folk on here have tried on many occasions, in various ways, to say No to you, encourage you to stop posting before your posts shut down threads ect...yet you continue to show very little regard for these requests. I dont really want to talk about others though, this is between you and me. I have done my best to keep this polite. I do understand that the forums are for everyone and I will have my own opinion on things and will say them where applicable. 99.99% of the time, my thoughts have nothing to do with you, they are not directed at you, they are not intended for you....they are just my thoughts. It is not always about you. Please just accept my comments.Please feel free to respond as you see fit. Please accept it is my choice whether not to acknowledge your comments.

Koolgrey, actually I'm pretty sure Rubi_Blossom came up with a great idea a while ago, "The Coffee Shop"? Talk about *what ever, news, food, drinks etc etc just like you would meeting friends/coworkers, meet ups, in a coffee shop. That would be brilliant. 1st vote from me. 👍 Ms Foxy *Within the forum posting guidelines.

I'd be all for that too. Really, I'm all for just one open forum where everything is allowed on the table. Within RHP's guidelines, of course. I see them as guidelines of courtesy and decency, anyway. I appreciate there have been disappointments of late with the Everything threads...and I don't think that can ever be eliminated in the real world...but surely it can be moderated by removing the Instant Posting of troublemakers?

I am also reevaluating the renewal of my membership subscription when the current one ends! The Forums were once my oasis for distraction and a good healthy laugh with some great humours! But since my return in last December till now, this oasis has dramatically turned into a bullet elevator to the dark hole! That's what the Forums have been for me to. A sometimes light, sometimes serious escape. The petty bickering of a few was unfortunate...and will happen again without a tight leash on privileges. One open topic thread rounds out a place that the many random, short-lived, ones don't.

The ending may need work...quite often I just make this stuff up on the go without counting syllables in order to effectively fuck up songs... Which kinda makes it a double fuck up really...and if it were maths, two negatives make a positive.... ;)

Seriously? What is happening with Rhp forum? The current A n E thread wss closed and I can not see why such drastic actions were taken . reading back, it seems pretty tame to me so I assumed some posts were deleted. If so, Does it warrant the closure of a thread? 😶 What message are the mods saying here where the majority of posters suffer from the deeds of a handful or constant reporting of a few? are we entering an era of extreme PC behaviour to appease a few? Just please explain. Thank you.

It seems I did mention The Coffee Shop..on this thread near the top of page 4 :) This thread has laid dormant since the 23 March until yesterday when many sought to express their current feelings which is kinda what this thread was about. It has been bought to my attention that the mods are not too pleased when we chat about threads being closed .... looks like those who have shared their thoughts have already moved on to other thoughts and feelings which is great! If you're going to post threads off the back of an idea I suggested to someone else, like you did today, I suggest you get used to the idea I am going to want to respond to them. If I was you, considering you don't hold back from stalking my profile when you're in the mood, I'd be paying more attention to that message from RHP which was sent more than a year ago now, in the first place. It's a public forum and with you also bumping up your threads regularly, it does trigger a desire to respond occasionally because the topics interest and have involved me with my life experiences.
