You are extremely devoted and filial, without a doubt! Respite care has its place. Don't burn yourself out trying to do everything single-handedly! They may not be perfect, but they have helped many sons and daughters keep their sanity. Make sure you don't neglect yourself. Caregiver burnout is very real. Take care!

I've enjoyed that there have been a few threads that people have been enjoying themselves on quite freely, not a criticism but a recognition I'd noticed the last few days. People of a like mind finding a place to chat about... horror movies, existential beliefs, etc. I am liking that vibe (not the toy whoever went there :-P)... Peachy

Rose Quartz Puffy Heart. Forgot to mention that. Sign of age. 🤣😛 Today, I just felt I needed Rose Quartz! So I wore my Rose Quartz + Moonstone + Swarovski Pink Heart Crystal Charm bracelet, and stacked on another strand of 10mm Rose Quartz bracelet. I'm sleeping with my usual Rose Quartz palm stone under my pillow. So, yeah... I'm all Rose Quartzed out! 🤣😍 I'm slowly amassing a collection of Rose Quartz raw crystals to create a special feature / nook in my new home. Maybe when SweetGem comes for a visit, you two could drop by my place and we'll bask in the rosey glow of Rose Quartz, sip T2 tea, and yakkety yak. 😄

I am going to have sex... soon? It's going to be with hubby. He probably wouldn't mind if I had sex with someone else, but would want to be there to get the full effect... and wonders sometimes if he is a freak because of it... Because he is not fueled by jealousy (though he had some serious issues when he was younger). He regrets that now because he feels he might missed out on so much. Oh well, that's might have beens for you... I'll settle for what I got. Peachy, must take those sexy photos we talk about so much soon!

That's brilliant hubby has lost the jealousy. I also regret being like that when younger,it's so freeing with that not being an issue and allows both to be free to explore as you go without having the containment and angst of how the other will feel. In an odd way, it makes you closer, more turned on by them because of it. Love it, good for both of you even if not acted on 👍

I like RHP forums. You can swear without offending your rellies. You can tell self deprecating jokes without all your mates sending you motivational posters. You're not bombarded with photos of babies first sneeze, first ice-cream, first shit, etc.. In short I'm here for the forums, because its everything facebook isn't, without all the trolls you get at reddit. And, i guess, to maintain some presence for when i rejoin the sex having community.

You know there is no rule against having multiple profiles I hope, or even fudging details to your heart's content. I asked, so I know for sure. You're not allowed to use multiple profiles to post but you have to prove it, and how does one achieve that with the fact that you can put any details on your profile, even if it only aspirational? Now these flirts you mentioned, they're not the one's from Hot or What?, right? Because sending a flirt and then blocking someone is nonsensical but if a profile is locked already and using that feature, that would make more sense. Peachy

Love it, good for both of you even if not acted on 👍 We don't act on it these days but do have our memories from the time we were on here for more than the forums, lol. I used to wonder if we'd have to leave RHP when we stopped looking! But then we saw all the profiles with, 'Just here for the forums' as were searching. So frustrating... I still wish I could take my profile off the search list to save searcher's times but aside from setting my limits for the least likely to be looking for me which I do, or locking down my profile, I don't know how to achieve that. And it did make us closer. Peachy Peachy, hope you're having a good day.

Luckily, not everyone has my brain! Or we'd be doomed. "I think you're hot, what do you think of me?". Also, if you see someone has rated you hot, unless it's a new profile that you can rate, most of the time that is from Hot or What? too.

If you are reading this just know you are not alone. Mum is here with me now too and I feel for you too. Its an emotional roller coaster ride. One day yoù think your mum is going to fine and nothing is wrong, then the next day she isn't and your world comes crashing down again. I hate it tho its the journey I must take for the unconditional love if my mother. Today it took 4 goes to find a vein for chemo. Heart wrenching trying to stay brave for her. However she is the brave one. ❤❤❤ - Posted from rhpmobile

That seeking a vein has to be one of the most horrific moments, we went to Royal Perth and there was a nurse station downstairs for day patients. We'd go down there because they were way better and waiting for them was usually shorter than waiting for the Dr. Maybe check if they have one like that there? And Gem, I hope you are okay too. If I have offended you unintentionally, I am sorry for that, it is never my goal. Peachy

It seemed to me there was a "gap in the market" for a topic like this for those in need to express their feelings without disrupting other threads and-or having your own conversations disrupted as they were on the Anything Goes thread. Maybe I should have called it the RHP Coffee shop or something like that with no reference to Just here for the forums or facebook as it seems to have stirred a little hard feeling by some. I would love someone else to start up a new Anything style thread just so this one can be used as a "safe place to fall" for those who choose to share. At no time will I be asking for anything to be deleted from this thread, I will leave that up to the individual poster or the mods.

I don't get why the two flirts are so similar either. The standard one is the first and I suppose someone thought it was a clever take to manipulate on the idea of Hot or What?... but there are no explanations any where! I've said it before that I would like to see something more original and self explanatory because if I had a dollar for every time women who come in here wondering why men would flirt them would have no picture anyway and/or have them blocked. We should send in a flood of suggestions to the suggestions box. You know they do have one, right? I still have no idea what I think would be good for the flirt to say... Peachy, hmmm

With regard to being a victim or playing the victim, there's a school of thought that you're only a victim when you give the antagonist permission to make you a victim. Last time I was accused of playing the victim I arked up and told them they did not have my permission to make me a victim. We fronted the Industrial Relations Commission not long after that...

a crisis sent me on an unexpected journey and I ended up becoming involved with an organisation called A.S.C.A ( Liz Mullinar was the founder she was a well known casting agent back in the day she is no longer involved) now known as The Blue Knot Foundation back then they ran support groups for adult survivors. I am a survivor, for a while I attended meetings and eventually I became a convener running meetings I met many men and women who came through our door to share their stories. I heard many horrific stories and learnt a lot about myself and others and how people survive and continue tooafter all what we all endured. I am thankful that I now add least have an understanding that I didn't have when I was a little girl a young child a teenager and in my early adult years I now will advocate for myself with my voice and actions when I need to.

late to know a hill or to wish upon a star.Every Child Should Know a Hill(Edna Casler Joll) Every child should know a hill, And the clean joy of running down its long slope With the wind in his hair. He should know a tree . . . The comfort of its cool lap of shade, And the supple strength of its arms Balancing him between earth and sky So he is a creature of both. He should know bits of singing water . . . The strange mysteries of its depths, And the long sweet grasses that border it. Every child should know some scrap Of uninterrupted sky, to shout against; And have one star, dependable and bright, For wishing on. I found this written in a book it has the most beautiful illustrations..I bought it for my son and daughter when they were young children..

WTF. Getting well and truly sick of all the in fighting and seeing thread after thread closed for it. For fucks sake what is wrong with some of you. These people aren't your neighbours, friends or anyone you are likely to ever meet so what's with giving a fuck about what they think. This was a thread for that shit not every second other one. Fuck it is like being at school with the little cliquey groups everywhere. Shit are we not adult enough to let people have opinions and thoughts without losing the plot. So please come here and air your shit where it is supposed to be aired. NOT feckin' happy Jan And I needed to use that language as I am about to lose all interest in the forums as it tends to happen each time I have been here.

Agree. Giving a certain couple of posters too much oxygen. Working in tandem they suck others into their vortex. Will keep happening until mods start doing their job. Suspensions. Anyway, volume 4 is in getting its rego plates. On a related note, these problems are not just in rhp. They happen in many different forum arenas. There is one for professional tradespeople and regularly have deletions and warnings and suspensions. People are passionate about the areas they invest their input. We are an extra passionate group, after all, passion is part of of this trade. Will never change so just take what you need and put out what you want Annie x

Hallo, sorry I did not see this thread. Yes I must off been on shift when you wrote that. I am here to get laid and the forums... not much chance of that while I am currently not a paid member.. although two lovelies have my number and I hope you use it. Ok.. regular FB style news. I am back from my massive tour around the state, sorry to be home and the mission over actually, I was having such fun and met some wonderful people in spite of the damned weather constantly ruining my plans. I found no gold, should of hooked up with Cavey's mate! all the good ground close to civilisation is leased and I wasn't keen on a big bush mission with all the water laying around out there. (not about to become one of those idiots that does stupid things then wants rescuing) A little carnage on the way, I did accidently kill 2 snakes, 1 bunny, 1 roo, 1 owl. I feel bad about that. The bunny was especially fat and healthy.. the roo, well his mama would've been proud, he went flying! My car, had the engine knock fixed but dented the front with mr roo.. 1 step forward 1 step back, luckily the radiator survived. Cannot take another hit like that.. no more night driving! Hmm I did also get a two way and fridge installed.. 3 steps forward, 1 back. Ok the month off is over, I must get motivated and serious and get a job.. the money is rapidly running out. Hawt1 tightening his belt!

When certain members have a personality issue with you and then follow you around in the forum and use topics to point score. Its abuse. And being in two's doesnt make it more acceptable. I agree that admin need to get tougher on things that are going on. LC.
-
RHP User

I can't agree that admin need to do something as it is us that need to be a little more reasonable and adult like. Well aware it happens elsewhere but that was not my point. My point being that adults should not act like children, we should know better. One thing I feel most would have been told as a child is ignore those that are stirring you, pretty bloody simple. I could have a go at heaps I have read but what would that achieve, sweet fuck all. No different from stirring the pot, I don't do it as I know where it leads, stir and hang shit on those you know here as that is familiar humour and good fun. I absolutely love fireworks and apposing views and I am awesome at taking deep breaths but sometimes things should be said not just breathe. What blows me away is how open we all think we are with sex here and how often do I see that this is not so true. Rant over, I shall crawl back into my cosy hole for now.

These people may well be my friends and neighbours, or even family. ;-) Putting that aside. People take sides. Some like to add fuel to the fire. Some get off on the fireworks. Some make things personal. Some act like they're martyrs. Some are manipulative. Some have less self control than others. The same few tend to cop the blame. We all have different points of view. We are all human. The only person we really have control over is ourselves of course. The day we all get into that will be an enlightening one on RHP. 🍑
