I have been advised that my thread was closed , not deleted. It was closed at the request of certain person who claimed a certain post was racist.. It wasn't , but I'm not about to give the complainer any more air than necessary. Further , the moderators advised that if I wish to re post I should request that only those interested in staying on topic join the post. So that's what I'm about to do.. Even so ' I feel flat about doing so as I believe a damaged post is hard to rekindle.. So to anyone who wants to join those who already offered their thoughts for the 2 Australians who perished in Sydney this week , get on over and have your say . Im not about to try and defend reasons.. I could have let the subject go belly up but conscience made me pursue the true reason for the original post and that was to honour Australians who died for no other reason than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. To even suggest a possible alternative reason is a insult.. In this case, fighting for right was the driving cause and nothing else. if you want to add your support..that's up to you.

that when I was invited to message someone....I was expecting a big red X for the age component....but then there was also a big red X with the "who are unattached" part as well.... So I thought I'd fucked around with my marital status as another little experiment of mine - like the validation one - and low and behold it was divorced... To me...that's unattached... It will help me keep track of the stifled debate I guess - I think about a third of the threads I've contributed to since I returned have suffered a similar fate. I do like irony though (ironing not so much, thanks Freya), and a thread on allowing people to hang themselves was shut down because a few were dangling. It does make me smile a little. Thanks I guess to the mods for not just burying them in the back yard. A tragic comedy maybe, although Shakespeare it's not.
