I love breakfast, personally my days never start as well without it. My go to is fruit and nut muesli with yogurt when I'm home. If im out it will most likely be poached eggs, avo and spinach on crusty toast. I like the sound of your smoothie though with the nutella and peanut butter lol Mrs A x - Posted from rhpmobile

A little, but during the week its either wholemeal toast with vegemite, or museli with alomonds, pepitas and dried apricot - with milk and greek yoghurt. On the weekends it depends on where I am and who I can convince to cook my brekky 😁

While I was training for the Gold Coast Marathon, I had 2 eggs on toast with bacon rasher, mushroom, avocado, served with Sweet Chilli Sauce on multigrain bread. Plus a protein shake. I'm not training for anything atm, so I just have cereal & coffee.

Before we started at F45 we just had cereal which was relatively healthy but low in protein. Now it changes frequently, from eggs various ways to smoothies Fried Eggs can be up to 4 for male, 3 for female with fried asparagus and cherry tomatoes, occasional variations with smoked salmon added or home made baked beans. Smoothies are generally almond milk based with 2 or 3 scoops of whey based protein powder, a fruit portion like banana or some type of berries, maybe some natural peanut butter or dates, goji berries and even the occasional Kale hit (only time I will have it) or even an avocado. Happy to send you some recipes if you like - Posted from rhpmobile

Another thing you could add to your smoothies is 2 dates or 1 fig. Watch those dried fruits, many have a shit load of sugars. Anything under 5 is perfect. Ms Foxy.

Recently, like as in 4 days recent, my breakfast consisted of a couple of coffees and cigarettes, now it’s just a single coffee, having dropped the cigarettes😬. Hoping to get into the habit of eating brekky soon. Most days I wouldn’t eat anything until after a few hours work, smoko break around 10:00am. Weekends I like to do the good old bacon n eggs for brekky, love poached eggs, and often have spinach and mushrooms etc with it to, big glass of juice to go with it. Not a huge smoothie maker but can see how they’d be good for a breakfast. I’ll be looking out for some tasty concoctions to.

When I'm at work, I put a Mrs Mac in the pie warmer before I leave of a night time..So.. Breakfast is a meat pie, a litre of milk and a travel mug of coffee - 3 tablespoons of coffee; black, with no sugar, and a pinch of chilli.During the day, I eat up to a kilo of cold Blue steak I get form the Mess of an evening, a 100grm (Give or take) of cheese, and a kilo of yoghurt. When I am at home, I have a 4 to 6 egg omelette, a pile of mushrooms, some fried tomato (IF I have any in my garden) otherwise I eat LOTS of shit I grow myself.. I grow pumpkin(generally kents or japs) butternuts, capsicum, chilli, Jerusalem artichokes, yacon, garlic, peas, figs, citrus, sweet potato, normal potato, pomegranate, dragon fruit, custard apple, fruit salad plant, globe artichoke, and lots more of that shit.. so.. "Home-time" is "Pig into it all so I doesn't get wasted" But Work time.. I NEED lots of energy..

I follow Keto not for weight loss but for the other health benefits and gee I feel better for it I no longer feel sluggish which was originally why I switched Initially it took a while to get use to having my first meal of the day at 1pm but now its easy as but man, my first meal of the day, I approach it like Survivors Benji at a plate of nachos I eat ugly

My brekkie is tame compared to all here so far, but plain uncooked oats with diced pineapple and a random other fruit (sometimes two other). Mangoes are coming into season up here at the moment and thus will be dirt cheap and for months I have mango and pineapple in my oats, which is like eating an orgasm.

Bahahaha We eat directly from the garden too, it often doesn't make it into the kitchen. I'll pass on the mac pie though. I rarely eat breaky before work, but have a banana and coffee around 9am and that gets me though to lunch which is usually some form of vego left-overs. Hubby has same breaky as me. Years ago, when I did eat breaky, usually cereal, I felt hungry at morning tea and was just finding myself eating more than I needed. - Posted from rhpmobile

I'm usually hungry when I wake up, so, when I'm at home, and the choice is mine...I like 2 slices of toast( grainier or darker, the better ), well browned, with Promite and/or peanut butter( crunchy...because I'm not ready for baby food yet ), and sometimes with cheese melted on it. Brie or Camembert is the usual, but I'll occasionally have something stronger like Pecorino, too. And chased down with 2 mugs( because good coffee is a privelege ) of plunger coffee....white, no sugar and strong....4 teaspoons of ground coffee/mug. I grind my beans myself, and have 2 types on the go at the moment....called India Tiger Mountain and Colombia La Jacoba. I picked them up last weekend from a local coffee roasting house/cafe called Antz Inya Pantz, because I heard their coffee was the shit. So far, so good. 🙄

As a nutritionist I will always encourage breakfast energy is important especially in a busy environment that burns a lot of fuel. By eating regularly and exercise I've lost 6kgs. Breakfast depends I'm very much a variety person. I love eggs, might have a natural yogurt (chobani) cinnamon and a piece of fruit. I'm carb loading the next 2 days and it's low fibre, low fat and low protein. - Posted from rhpmobile

Well, ever since I’ve been an adult, I’ve enjoyed breakfast more than any other meal, “breaking my fast” My philosophy has always been with the kids, nag as little as possible, especially with food. Things go deep, casually mentioning eating habits, can impact young lives very easily, and our elder child WOULD starve himself, and it took 6 weeks in hospital with a broken arm, where the child nutritionalist, noticing his low body weight, said “give this child whatever it wants to eat!” That said, the kids now 22 and 19, Mr19 has a diet of complete crap! So we watched “That Sugar Movie” together this week. I really didn’t need to be convinced, however, I hope it makes a difference for Mr 19! Back to my breakfast! Well, I leave home at 6.30 with a nut bar, and a banana. Breakfast should be muslie and prunes and great yogurt and rice juice “milk”, however, if Wifey isn’t at work, to make it for me, I’m more than happy to join my workmate in a deeply satisfying bacon and egg roll, preferably with a runny egg! I used to have a huge bowl of porridge for breakfast, it’s low GI and supposed to keep you going all day. It made me hungrier! And I felt empty and wanted four slices of toast and jam or a bacon sandwich afterwards! That’s the only bread I eat, I’ve cut it out for about 4 years now, and the only cow’s milk I have, is in my 6 or 7 coffees I usually have each day! I don’t bother with lunch. I have a pear and apple on the journey home, and at least half the week, I have a big handful of nuts, before I take Banjo the Goldie, to the park for an hour and a half. Dinner, or in my vernacular, tea is whatever the family are having. Chilli Con Carne is my favourite! Usually we have a crisp salad of carrot sticks, snow peas, broccoli and cauliflower. I hate pasta, and if I’m on my own, I’ll just have a tin of tuna and rice crackers, or an avocado and balsamic vinegar with olive oil! It’s rare I have ice cream or any desert, and at the moment I average a glass and a half of red wine! I know the post is specifically about breakfast, however, I think you have to look at the whole day. Do you have a high sugar diet? Or a high fat diet? Vego or vegan. I suppose peeps will judge you whatever you say you have. I go with, what Peter Russell-Clarke used to say: “A little bit of everything, not too much of anything” M_D4 - Posted from rhpmobile

Low carb Monster Energy drink (Ultra White) and BSC White Choc Honeycomb low carb protein balls is my standard most days. Picking some up now actually haha. If I HAVE time it will be a couple of fried eggs and some bacon. I've been living keto for about the last 9 months (and counting) so everything goes into macro tracking (and consistency is something that definitely helps with maintaining a diet like keto which demands a bit more thought than 'what do I feel like eating today') 😉 - Posted from rhpmobile

As a “Babyboomer”I need real food! My teeth are still good, and are for chewing. Chewing is the first part of digestion, it stimulates the stomach to digest the food it’s going to be fed. My tongue wants to taste those strawberry flavours melding together in my mouth, my mind has to think I’m giving it something good, see vibrant colours of the vegetables , see steam rising, from hot soup, smell the aroma of a gourmet pie, then swallowing, and feeling that bacon and egg giving my digestive juices something to be soaked up by, and stop the tummy rumbles. Then in a few hours, I want to go and have a satisfying crap! Not just blow out wind and water that is going to make my arse sore! It must be an age thing! M_D4 - Posted from rhpmobile

As it was edging far too close to Vegan territory for my liking, I’ve started adding a rasher of bacon to my Bloody Mary. After all, who am I to argue with the time honoured adage that you don’t make friends with salad. I do enjoy variety in my morning repast however, so if I happen to rise at some ungodly hour (say before 9.30am) I prefer something light and fruity. A Mimosa or a Bellini hits the mark perfectly. Lately I’ve been moved by the plight of our drought stricken rural brethren, and feeling compelled to make a gesture of solidarity I’ve added an occasional White Russian to my breakfast repertoire. I’m certain the milk levy I have contributed will find its way to those most in need..... the Woolworths shareholders. So with breakfast out of the way we can focus on more pressing matters, such as brunch.. ... Margarita, anyone?? - Posted from rhpmobile
