I have been a big girl.. nearly all my life... I got beaten up at school..teased..put down.. cake rubbed in my face..bubble gum in my hair..ink on my face..and god forbid I even got stabbed once.. and yet..I still remain kind hearted.. I have never once.. judged those who did wrong by me or wished them anything eles but happiness and love in their lives.. what are we to do.. in a world with so much judgement.. can someone not stand up and say.. no matter what at the end of the day no one is perfect, we all have are falts and things we would want to change, im 80kilos and deffently not happy and i have been working hard to get back to my old body after having kids, i think size does matter but it shouldnt matter to other people. just think out loud lol theres no need for dissing anyone for there size if u dont like dont comment

I watched The Daily Show and they played a clip from a new movie called THE C WORD......In this movie the teacher says to a large female student words to the effect of "Don't be such a bitch, you are fat, fat people need to be jolly, that is how they are liked. You have two choices, you can be fat and jolly or you can be a skinny bitch but you can't be fat and a bitch"There was a little more to it than that but you get the idea. It was supposed to be funny but it was also supposed to be a harsh truth. I thought of it and thought of mentioning it here because although it is wrong I think it probably rings true as far as perception and stereotype goes. It is a shame.xx Salina

fat vs skinny... I like to say I'm ample, which means I'm not slim (see how craftily I am avoiding the 'fat' word) and at the end of the day the people I attract are satisfied with ample :) But there is a reason I go to the gym five times a week, because lets face it ladies if the magic wand hit out heads and gave us our most ideal bodies i think us 'ample' girls would be over the moon with a size 12/14. I wouldn't mind a toned size 12 body and thats my aim :) Looks matter, that sounds shallow (its not though) but its true, presentation is everything, and i don't mean women have to be slender with legs that go for miles, but dressing appropriately for your size and shape. Men too, pride in appearance is not something that should be frowned upon, it should be embraced. and by the way bitch isn't a size or shape its a choice. And you know what if a woman or man walks around with confidence in their appearance and who they are, don't paint them with the arrogant prick or self righteous bitch brush, because thats you CHOOSING to let your own insecurities take over your rational mind. Being confident is a choice, it comes easier to others, but it is a skill and a choice, being bitter is a choice and being a bitch is also a choice. And lets face it ample ladies, for MOST of us being on the bigger side was a choice and a choice that deep down we regret a little. Life is all about choices, I am 20 and I know this, so i choose to be the best person i can be by being respectful, optimistic, happy, busy and one day soon having a smokin' hott body. :) Take care.

We agree with some of the other posts regarding the profiles , eg people saying they are average build and they are not I consider I am an a average build , I do work hard to stay my size . With any other topic, why do we need to denigrate one thing in order to praise another? Is it really necessary? We all have preferences, things we do and don't like. There is nothing wrong with that, but I don't see the need criticise the things we don't like. We all have been rejected, even the hot skin guys and girls out there who have walked up to someone in the club and thought, "right, I'll have you tonight" and been rejected for many different reasons. He/ She prefer's blondes, brunettes, redheads, big boobs, small boobs, hairy chests, tighter ab's, longer legs, etc... he or she might have been marries or with someone and simply not interested.... the fact is we all like what we like in a partner, it is all tied into our genetic programming to mate and produce offspring that is of better stock than we are.... our evolutionary process taking hold and kicking our sexual desires into overdrive when we see someone who will produce a better next generation offspring than ours. It really is that simple...and here's the other really simple bit..... NO ONE LIKES BEING REJECTED! Fat people are constantly being rejected because of the reasons stated about. Which is strange because in caveman days a man or woman who was bigger was seen as better able to survive a long winter with less food and by spring would probably be an absolute stunner again in time to go hunt and gather through spring before their metabolism kicked in and they where comfortabley insulated again. In Africa, the fatter you are, the more desirable you are, it means you have enough money to afford food. Hot African guys in the movie "Phat" were falling all over plus sized chick and hating on them chicks with the thinner killer hot bodies, because in western society we have different idea's of what is considered attractive. No I'm not suggesting for some minute that all us fatties go live in Africa to be accepted. What I am saying is, this post, and others about body shape and size and image, is more about rejected people projecting their anger and shame at being considered "Not Good Enough" out onto others. Blaming other people for their intolerance rather than simply accepting that Western society is by nature, judgemental, elitist and places more value on materialistic beauty and appearance, rather than a person's true intrinsic value... rather than who the person is and how they treat others. If I continue to go through life questioning why something doesnt happen for me, I won't ever move forward, I'll stagnate in a pool of my own self doubt and bloody misery. My advice..... Move away from the fat v thin debate.... it's been done to death. If you're not happy with your current physical appearance, do something about it. In doing something positive, like joining a gym or going walking in the morning or evening, you might meet a nice person or couple who could be just a secretly kinky and off chops about you as you are about them. but stop complaining about thin people never wanting to fuck fat people.... it's not just about fatness.... mostly it's about attitude. Yup, I love them, and I'm going to be one when I grow up. Meanwhile, my profile lists me as Ample, and I make sure people know that when they meet me. I like slim and beefy and lean and chubby and muscled and voluptuous lovers... I like faces, and that's how i decide if I will bang someone, by looking at their face. If someone is terribly vain I probably won't shag them, and in my experience you don't have to be a slim chick to be vain. In fact I met a very vain 'chock' just a few weeks ago. I didn't hop on, despite his body being divine. Maybe I should have just told him to shut up while I enjoyed the ride. Anyhoo... God it's great to be back!!! BB

I am so sick of these stereotypes who's idea of a perfect world is airbrushed skin and a size 2!! No wonder alot of women have self-esteem issues.... I'm a size 8-10 but to be perfectly honest, I do not have the perfect figure and I like it that way. I used to be a little on the heavy side a few years ago but that didn't stop my man doting on me and making every inch of me feel beautiful. Since when did we have categories to describe what I believe is every womans individual and beautiful frame. Considering our nations average dress size is 12-14, next time stop and think before you critisize a women for her size, you would be surprised how much of a bomb they are in the sack!!!! And alot of the time, they even out-do the "Slim Chicks". Grow up and get a life. Every women is beautiful and sexy if she feels comfortable in her own skin, oh and to the "Shallow" men who commented and put s**t on the bigger women "None are so blind, than those who cannot see true beauty". So next time ur flipping through profiles and go to give a sexy lady the flick beacuse she is not "Athletic, or Slim", stop and actually take the time to send them a msg, you may actually find out how true their "INNER BEAUTY" appeals to you

take a look at us we're not that ugly we're down to earth we're open to all and as a dancer and a violinist, have been picked on, persecuted n beat up, by the very people MOST TRY TO BE we find it somewhere between funny and sad people who are the first to throw stones, you'll find dislike that in themselves we are all hipocrities to a degree BUT PEOPLE THESE DAYS........THEY DO'NT SEEM TO CARE.......EVEN ABOUT THEMSELVES.......IT'S BORDERING ON APPATHY SOMETIMES

I am rather attached to mine. And hey, my guys dont seem to mind them either. Slim, large, shart, tall, WTF difference does it make? So long as the person is healthy and happy. We all bleed when cut. One of my daughter's is only 38 kgs. She eats more than I do and is constantly critisized anad presumed to have anhorexia. She hates being this size, has had all the tests under the sun...to no avail. She simply can not put on weight and is miserable about it. Will not even wear a swimsuit anymore. And blonde7915? She is in the unhealthy range. They hospitalise people who weigh more than her to make them gain weight. She has begged, pleaded and been in tears at the doctors, dieticians whatever and nothing works. Yep. Lets celebrate the fact that she is thin......she gets all colds, flu's, gastro enteritis going around and will end up dying younger than she should because her body has no fat resources to fall back on in times of illness. Being underweight is just as much a risk as being overweight.
