Now suggestions on a decent motel in the area please - i really dont know melb well. yes airfares are being booked and i am a coming. i have nothing else planned for that weekend so what better way to spendit than in melb. Thanks heaps for the notice ladies. greatly appreciated Kisses Focus

Re: motels in area... there is an apartment hotel just down the road (Windsor end of Chapel St). For something classy theres the Como Melbourne....it's at the South Yarra end of Chapel Street...it's expensive. I can recommend others if you give me an idea of what you are looking for. I suggest t-shirts with nipple holes cut in them so we can all be on high beams to make it easier for those naughty ladies who tried to molest me last time. As for hotels, i got a room at amardale apartments off wotif.com for $105. Not flashy, but did the job. Short walk to the union, about one and a half blocks. Maybe it can be freeball as a theme?

We now have two possible locations for drinks: 1. Union Hotel, Chapel St, Windsor 2. Oddfellows, Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne The Union is very casual and has free and easy parking. It's also relatively easy to get to and the food is reasonable. Oddfellows has a great outdoor balcony (great for smokers but cold in winter). There was live music and they do woodfired pizzas. BUT the location is hard to find AND the parking is SHIT ! Has anyone else been to both ? Do you have a preference ? I think Oddfellows will be great in the warmer months but the parking and drive put me off. The Union has a few good clubs close by for partying later on plus there's the park in the side street that I know has been used by a few RHPers for some "naughty" business ! NOT that these nights are pick up nights !! I like to know your thoughts ! I've made the next drinks at the Union simply because it was such a popular spot last time. xx Miss Saturn

Oddfellows is a fantastic venue, but as you said, the parking is terrible , a lot easier at The Union. I think Oddfellows would be fantastic in warmer weather, (even though the outdoor area is great and the heaters very effective) Friday nights seem to be more popular at the moment and the Union is very accessible. intrigueg & curious

I suggest next event we take a poll of where members are coming from and see how many are from the South-East, West, East or North of Melbourne. If 40% or more are from the North or West then it's probably fair if every second night is held at Oldfellows on a Saturday. Poor Customer69 has to travel so far to attend the Union.

The Union is a better option .......... the hype of chapel street just adds to the excitement of the evening......and i could almost walk home if i had to.........but not in heels LOL and champagne may interferr with my directional abilities Evil are you flirting with Taipan ????? Hi Drogba, Imagine this: You walk down Chapel St,... approaching the Union Hotel you hear a faint moan mixed with laughter and a few yelps. You notice a group of people standing on the pavement chatting away, inhaling toxic nicotine fumes.... yes, you've found your first group of RHPers. (For some strange reason there seem to be a lot of smokers on RHP) Don't stop on the pavement.... venture inside, where all the healthy people are... the noise will be louder... more giggles (from the men), sighs (from the women) and lots of smiling faces. You've found the RHP crew ! Usually I keep my eyes open for everyone arriving so I can say hi and introduce you around. If I'm neglecting my duties, feel free to approach me and introduce yourself. No one gets left out. Next, you buy yourself a drink (and one for me too !!!) then join in the fun and frivolity. We generally order food around 8.30pm (for those who are eating). Those who are preoccupied (like me) or would rather skip the food, just keep chatting and drinking. There's always great stories, lots of laughter, a little breast and nipple exposure (NOT by me) and some other silliness. There are no rules except for respecting each other and being polite and friendly. We have NEVER had any problems with misbehaviour and everyone is welcoming. What happens is always a mystery. There's no structure. Some people go home together, some go home as a group, lots of us move on to a club and some choose to go home alone (like I did last time). There's no pressure, do what you want. It's non-sexual, and very friendly. Just a fun way to meet really nice people ! We stay at the Union until we are bored or kicked out. Don't be shy... come and say "hi"... oh, don't forget my drink ! xx Miss Saturn

I like sparkling wine, or a white wine like a sauv blanc or a Gin and Tonic or even a Bitters, Lime and Soda. At the last drinks night I stuck to sparkling water all night ! Hi Evilboy, I DID go home alone ! Perhaps you assumed the guy who walked me to my car got to take me home ? In fact some guys actually honour "no thanks" and don't keep persisting ! As for my drinking. I don't know what you noticed but I'm sure a few guys can testify that they DID in fact buy me sparkling water and not alcohol ! Looks can be deceiving... I can have fun without alcohol and I can be very friendly AND happily go home alone ! There are all types on RHP and the drinks night is a great way to meet them all. Yes i have my apartment booked in town again..It is a one bedroom big lounge though so if any of the ladies travelling needing a place more than welcome at my place cost covered..How is that Miss Saturn ? the Union Hotel Sound's the go. Up the top of the street if you hungry,before hand. Old Pepper for Pizza, and Romeo's is a great pasta place have been there many times, since younger days. This will be my second drinks night. For anyone thinking of coming along, it really is a friendly atmosphere with no pressure what so ever. Chat to who you like, have a drink, have a meal. Come early, come late (but not too late). I am sure everyone will make you more than welcome. They can't be all that scary, look at the contingency of interstaters lining up to cross the border! There's lots of talk of After Parties. Those that know me, know that I'm just a big flirt that enjoys great conversation and friendly interaction hence the strict non-sexual nature of the night. BUT... this IS RHP... so feel free to organise whatever type of After Party you like. I think there will be several different parties. I'm more of the dancing, good music or a quiet drink kind of girl. Or... maybe, some fun in the park (with my man)... but others can share the park bench.... Last time we left the Union quite late. I suggest we try and move on to whatever around 11.30pm. We need a little more co-ordinating the After part as we will waste too much time deciding what we are all doing. I'm happy to assist co-ordinating activities although may not attend any. Will depend on what the other half wants to do. xxx Saturn

Taipan, crazy apparantly we are cool and the life of the party. That is a lot of pressure to take into the night to perform. i am going to have to sleep in my fridge for a week for training to be cool. might find some salad in there. As far as after parties go, i suggest we party on the footpath in Grey st. kilda just as a guarantee for the guys who dont pick up.

I'm hoping to buy a new red dress for the occasion. Red is my favourite colour, I wear it most days. I already have a red coat and red underwear. I have several red items (tops and dresses) but they are for work. I'm looking for something more playful and a little sexy BUT... I have no money so maybe I need to head to the op shop ? I will be wearing my beautiful black suede CFM boots.... I spent a small fortune on them so would like to get some use out of them although I do find it difficult to find something suitable to wear with them... other than simply underwear. Yes... it will be COLD. But, alcohol helps and hopefully I'll have that "red hot man" on my arm to keep me warm. xx Miss Saturn

Here I was thinking that Taipan was going to add to my list of favorite red wines, alas, it is not to be. Mmmmmm red wine. Let me see what to choose from my cellar.... Would it be the Bin 389, perhaps the Annies Lane Coppertrail Shiraz, maybe even the St Henri or Seppelts St Peters or just settle on an Amberton for the night........... Then again perhaps I should just dress up as Santa, how many would sit on my......um.......knee (of course)..........hehehe Cheers Lets

Amazing the dribble we can discuss !!! Imagine the drinks night ! Come on everyone who is thinking and wondering.... You KNOW you WANT to ! Don't be shy... I'm the only shy one allowed to attend the night ! Oooo sooo many people... what if no one talks to me ? What if no one holds my hand ? What if no one buys me a drink ? What if Customer69 and Ms Bowpeek leave my clevege alone ? Will I drink water or wine ? Will I go home alone ? Will I find a red dress in time ? Sooo many questions.
