I'm now super active in another forum, related to my new course. The general atmosphere and vibe there is startlingly positive and so different from here! We don't get personality clashes because almost all of us aren't interested in antagonising others. On the very rare occasion that a clash occurs, the Mods step in very swiftly and the parties involved are informed why their posts have been removed. We mostly get on to discuss common interests and lend each other support. No ego issues, etc etc etc. Baggages are left by the door as we check into the forums. Kewl!

I'm impressed by them too...but also a little repulsed by arthropods. Icky!Spiders, Scorpions...as much as I admire them, I need to apply a little will handling them. But, I do better with them than I do with heights.

Wanted to pass on her goodbye to all those in the forum, the posters and the lurkers.After 4 yrs and 6000 posts, her time here came to an ending.She is devastated that some may have thought her very last post in E&N was making light of child explortation. Nothing could be further from the truth as some may be aware we were victims ourselves.So from Annie, all the best. Peace and love to all.....and thanks for the ride.

Saw some pictures of the ones at the show today - shudder. And whilst I knew it was almost Easter, I’d forgotten the show had started already. That explained the trains on my afternoon commute this week. Ugh.

Having met Annie a few times at M&Gs and parties as well as all the forum posts she had contributed to over the years, we never for one moment took the comment made by Annie as making light of child exploitation.I am sure if she had her time again it wouldn't be a comment she would make a second time but I for one took it the way it was meant to be.Hopefully we will see her back again as she really did bring a lot to the RHP forum table. Welcome from me to. I will miss Annie's contributions to these forums. For 4 years I've felt she really made the effort to maintain the serious Threads here more than any other. I'm quite aware it takes more than just posting a rant/topic and disappearing for a week. So, please thank her for me for putting in the free overtime that others, like myself, couldn't or wouldn't. Perhaps you may want to contribute as much as she did?

Annie is a beautiful woman with an equally beautiful heart and spirit. Never for a moment thought that her last comments were making light of that particular situation. Like others, I will miss her presence in the forums. Things won't be the same. I loved meeting Annie last year, and I look forward to catching up again in the not too distant future.
