I think seeker should walk up to the next heavily tattooed person he sees on the street and ask them straight out. "Hello, my name is The Seeker and I noticed that you have lots of tattoos. When the discussion turned to tattoos at work, one of my co-workers said she had a little mouse. She indicated that it was on her lower abdomen, below the belt line. She lowered her pants a little to show us but there was nothing there. "Oh," she said, "My pussy must have eaten it."

My art project is men with tats For those of you that have them, they are often lovely. sometimes stupid and they date. I have done a lot of study on the history of tats and the cultural perspective of body markings. I can pick your age by your tats. Tats are like fashion you can't take off. If you get it then your stuck in that decade for ever. I told my kids sure have one but I want you to wear the same shirt every day of a year if you still want it then be my guest I have taken hundreds of photographs of men with tats and the older the guy the ink goes, the picture gets warped and all that body hair that old men get makes it look very very unattractive Same with women that get it around their neck and arms, just look at a sixty year old woman’s leg with the butterfly on the ankle. It looks like a spilt ink splotch over time. Anything looks great on a young smooth sexy body If you have a big fat arse and you sit at centrelink leaning into the counter with your g string on and that big Celtic pattern on your bum it screams a whole different message than you may have intended. Tats at some time in history were for prisoners and for sea going men. So it had that social stigma for a long-time. Maori culture tells a story its part of their heritage and its now being hijacked by westernerns, not indigenous who use it in the most inappropriate way, Some not even aware of the significance of the markings yet they put it on their skin. If I sit on a train I an pick every person that has a prison tat, so then I know you have been in jail. Like art work we all get sick of the same picture on the wall. If its on your skin your stuck with it, plus there is the fact that skin cancers may be harder to detect under that ink. Dont get me wrong I love them, I find them a turn on when its on a young hot body. Its beauty to me, but its the canvas that its painted on that makes it so lovely.

Behind every tattoo is a tale.A tattooed lady was once an exception to the rule.Todays society has become more liberal,an acceptance of the tattooed lady being another step in a womens liberation as an equal.Beauty being in the eye of the beholder,a tattoo worn says more of the lookers judgement,than the wearers walk in life.I feel any lady that wears a tattoo has courage to adorn herself and walks a line of not just present judgement but of the judgement of the history of imbedded ink.So ladies tickle your skin with ink,if thats your fancy...you will meet many""seekers"",such is life.

Tattoo's are personal body art......people don't hang themselves in art galleries showing there art off....most tattoo's I find have deep meaning that half the time when asked..."why did you get that"....you can't be bothered explaining to a person that just doesn't understand.......people who have tattoo's don't care if other people don't....they are only usually negativally debated by people who don't.....As for women with tatoo's, if you have them I will admire your personal body art....If you don't, I won't drag you to the nearest shop to get one. Tattoo = personal art I have a Masters and tattoos and run a successful business myself..... and as jamesnp is well aware I am sexy as hell.... I don't understand how a personal choice somehow reflects a person's self esteem and lack thereof nor lack of self-confidence. Some would say that to have the courage to go through the pain exhibits a certain amount of self-confidence. I will back up James as age is no reflection of maturity on this site nor in life. But I guess opinions are like rear-ends... everyone has one. x

Are like boob jobs :D excellent ideas to some. Intrusive and unecessary to others. Personally, all 3 of my tatts are awesome, have personal meaning, and are aesthetically pleasing. They are all in places I can choose to show, or cover. They are intrinsic, important, and indicative. On the other hand, whilst I can appreciate the effects on others, I have no interest in getting plastic surgery of any kind. Or piercings... again, I like them, just not on me. Tatts are merely a form of body modification that expresses part of the inner you on the outer you :P In conclusion, in answer to the original question, I'm definitively a fan, and do get happy little panty twitches from nice ink!

Your comment about the strategic placing of tatoos can make them an attractive way of expressing who you are. I don't have any myself though I have contemplated one, but my daughter has the names of her children on the back of her neck in beautiful copperplate script. They can be covered by her hair, or shown off as she chooses. I have seen some ladies though and all I've thought is "why?." They just seem to be a mish mash of things, no rhyme or reason to the placement or subject of their tats and that really is a shame when you consider they will carry them all of their lives.Viking
