How did you choose your username?

July 24 2013

When looking at people's usernames, it really is a case of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. In the last year I've seen everything, from names that made me go "Fuck me, fuck me right now", to "I think I just threw up in my mouth a little".   The beautiful wiccan-beltane posted a Profile Name forum in September last year, but I thought it was time for a new one, as so many people have since joined, left or changed their names *cough*. So let's hear it: How did you come up with yours? If you changed it, why did you do so? Have others commented on your username, and if so what did they say? x Miss M

Once upon a time time I was DeviousMissM. I'm single, my first name starts with M, and I liked the idea of being on a devious journey exploring my fantasies. Then, in the same week, two more MissM's popped up, so I changed my name to Ms_Devious (MissDevious was taken), hoping people would call me Devious for short. Alas, I became Ms_D. (Not bad, but not exactly what I was after). A few quick changes later (Ms_Direct and Embody), I decided I really wanted a name that started with M, was one word without underscores or numbers and flowed nicely. Mesmerised stood out. But boy, did I receive a lot of comments from people who wanted Ms_D back. Hmm, sounds kinda self-absorbed, doesn't it? Well, tough.

assume that Im from Europe and I do get a giggle when they spell my name with an 'e' instead of an 'i'. Well mine is based on Jupitors moon Europa. It is hypothesised that there may very well be life under the ice of Europa due to warming caused by the gravitational ebb and flow between Jupitor and Europa.   Im a bit of an outlandish person so what better name than EuropianBliss. :)

initially I was boomba g.   g as in the initial of my first name and boomba a Spanish derivative of my personality     then a dear old female friend off chat decided that runaway baby was more apt. that was based on the Bruno mars song.     evil bastard was then borne out from runaway baby.   finally settled on cold ass honky which was more a combination of my previously inspired names and my snappy dress sense. hahaha

When I first started 10 years ago, naively I put my real name... However after 2 years of getting away with it, was caught out by my ex's work colleague so had to frantically make up a new username. I wanted something innocent yet cheeky however was stuck for ideas. Then remembered how friends use to laugh at me as there are times when I look like a deer caught in headlights... I thought... Deer = Bambi! Thought Bambi was already taken I needed to combine something else in it, once again to line up with cheeky but innocent. As I get a lot of compliments due to my breasts thought why not put peaks but spell it as peeks that way people can make up their own mind to how the name is displayed... And BOOM... A bambi_peeks was then invented

'Tryst and Shout'   One of the first exchanges we had was an appreciation of The Beatles. We both love a good play on words. 'Come Together' seemed too obvious (and is probably taken.) Somehow the name just came to me, and Tryst and Shout was thusly created! ...and now whenever I log in I close my eyes, scrunch up my face, shake my head and scream it in my mind (makes entering the password difficult though!) Mr Tryst A year later we're still happily trysting! (And closing our yes, scrunching up our faces and shaking our heads). x Ms Shout Disclaimer: Of course we do know The Beatles merely covered the song.

came up with this name about 7 years ago when I first joined an online dating site.I have always been obsessed with shoes and at the time I was addicted to shoes and boots that tied with ribbon, which reminded me of Mary Poppins. It didn't hurt that my first name started (and still does) with M and occasionally gets shortened to Mary.I have been fortunate that it's been available on every site.....errrrm not that I'm on many

was something that I decided on one night after a couple of drinks. I tried a few based on nicknames I have had over the years but nothing really worked til this one was thrown in the mix. I figured that it was an interesting play on part of my personality, but what most people need to remember is that in order to have me submit to you sexually you must first engage my mind. The act of submission is more powerful than most people realise. Over recent months many have shortened my name to subgal and I have even taken to using the shortened version when signing messages on here. Thou one of my friends has come up with another name for me...will see if it is more appropriate after the next Hell Fire here in Brisbane... lol

Started with a kind of spin spelling on my actual birth name..then freaked out that someone may put one and two together ( which is kind of funny as I think anyone who knows us wouldn't think being on here too much of a stretch). Then left it in the hands of Mr Sat who has a fascination with space and the Saturn 5 rocket ( very generic name for a sex site) Saturn5 was taken hence 65 was born ( both babies of the 60's!)     As with MissM( Mesmerised) I had some slight forum "issues" as the Divine MissSaturn used to post in forums way back when so Peeps eventually got used to calling her "Sats" and me "Mrs Sats" all was good. PLus her and I got on very well and to this day we still keep in contact off site.   She was very much in the same vein as you MissM would have been a hoot seeing you both posting I'm sure the fan base of men would have been torn between you both.

On arriving at the homepage for RHP and creating a username I knew from the start that I needed something that easily described me to the masses of members. So therefore describing my attributes in a few short words was imperative. I came up with, what I thought was not only humorous but intelligent. After much contemplation and frustration I ended up with "MoreThanaCock" The intention of this username was to highlight that yes I have a large cock, but as an articulate intelligent gentleman I also have a brain. After all I am more than a cock, I have a brain also. Upon arriving in the in the Western Australia chatroom, where the chatroom locals welcomed me with constant jeers and taunts reminiscent of a primary school playground, did I realise that not everyone on the planet had the mental capacity of myself. After being informed by RHP admin when banned for defending myself, that the word "cock" may be taken as "offensive" (on a sex site HA) made total sense to those chatters in the WA chatroom. LOL Considering my username had now been changed by the chatters to "JustaCock". Inevitably I came to the conclusion that a name change was in order to keep the peace, and hopefully get some sex from this sex site. I changed it to "MoreThanaPhallus" But google asked me to change it because the chatters in the WA room were making the google website crash in the stampede to find the meaning of "phallus" HA. MoreThanaPenis, MorethanaShaft, MorethanaDick, MorethanaRooster and numerous other attempts all apparently didn't alleviate the unwanted attention from the now rabid chatters in the WA chatroom. Even a more drastic change to AlbinoMandingo could not stem the abuse. One thing did expose itself to me during this traumatic experience, unbeknown to me I had a secret admirer (who will not be named) that to this day is still a very close and dear friend to me. She had been admiring, from afar, not only my jovial manner but the knack to run rings around the constant complainers in the WA chatroom. Possibly the knack of running rings around the pilgrims in chat, like the American Indians would circle the stage coachs led the secret admirer to nicknaming me "Chief". Possibly it was the true meaning of the word "Chief" One who is highest in rank or authority; a leader that led her to "Chief". Either way it was unanimously voted by my fan club of 1 secret admirer that from that day on I would be known a "Chief" In a gesture of open honest transparency not often seen on websites such as this, I decided to use my real first name Garry Just to take the edge off for fear of attracting anymore unwelcome attention I decided Gazza would dampen any unwanted tension. This transformation reminds me of the same process a caterpillar takes when becoming a beautiful butterfly. HA MoreThanaCock evolved into ChiefGazza

I've been on and off this site for about five years. In that time I've had countless names - e.g. in the early days ravenbaby (long story), lilmissfussy (because I am), brave_heart (because I needed to be brave after a dreadful heat break), halcyon_days (because I was dreaming of happier times, past and future), three_wise_words (because someone I admire gave me some valuable advice), and now lolygoblblisbom (because someone mentioned them in a forum, it made me laugh, and I decided to pick a name that lifted my spirits). I've have a bunch of messages about my current name, it seems to bring back memories for some people, and it makes others chuckle. All good fun :)

As a 'newbie', most of the names I thought of were already taken, even my real nickname (Charmy) - I couldn't believe it! Someone else on here is called 'Charmy' - I should look them up. In the end, I must have gone thru' about a dozen usernames, and they were all gone.Anyway, I happened to be listening to Running Wild during registration, and the main character on one of their albums is called, you guessed it, 'John Xenir'. I was a bit worried it might be already taken as well, having had no luck with the others I tried, but it's all good. And seeing as I f*cking love Running Wild, 'john_xenir' suits me fine!

I added the Mrs for my female profile so people knew it was me posting and didn't blame him for what I said LOL. I've played with my profile name over the years depending on my mood, most often incorporating MrsP and Peachy. I settled on MrsPeachyPier most recently as very close to our original profile name but reflecting that I was on a single profile, then changed it to MrsPeachyPyre when I deleted my account. I kept it like that when I asked RHP to reinstate my account and will most likely go back to MrsPeachyPier eventually but MrsPeachyPyre suits the way I feel about the forums currently. I guess 'icumfast', was too vulgar even for here, and since I am american, it was suggested that 'yank' be thrown in there.

Quoting 'EuropianBliss' It is hypothesised that there may very well be life under the ice of Europa due to warming caused by the gravitational ebb and flow between Jupitor and Europa. Are we to expect then that there could be some sexual life to be discovered underneath your projected icy exterior ? ET xox

Quoting 'ag_no3'Following on from Luvsilver, the first part of my name, Ag, is the chemical symbol for SILVER. The second part, NO3, is the chemical symbol for NITRATE. Together they are Silver Nitrate which is the chemical in film that makes an image appear. Obi1Kenietzsche: yours has always been one of my favourites. And bosch-sparks: Are calling yourself a spark plug, or are we talking about the sparks that fly from your Hammer Drill, hmmm?

Quoting 'yankmychain56'I guess 'icumfast', was too vulgar even for here, and since I am american, it was suggested that 'yank' be thrown in there. I still prefer the first option, YankeeDoodle, but glad you approved of Yankmychain (the first one).

Looking up at the TV whilst signing up to Red Hot Pie almost 4 or 5 years ago now. Does anyone remember the old 'Lynx' advertisements? If you need to refresh the memory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_Uj9cSToes&list=PL0B4E1F8BC33180CDThe concept kinda sold itself, so not a great deal of thought or story behind it. But like any good brand we've kept it and enough people remember the nickname. It's a bit of a mouthful at parties though! Not that that's ever been a problem ;)Mr Bom
