I believe with all this restrictions and protections which are in place today......and everything has to be so "PERFECT" I am getting pissed of more then not.I have go at work in the toilet and let it rip' I need to say fuck that shit and get it off my chest.Angry is my middle name, I even got a written notice from the boss because I let it rip to a work mate. I have to say i have been loving reading through the forums over the past few days. Especially the posts from the older, more experienced regulars. I have found it very witty,entertaining,stimulating and informative conversation which i just don't find in my day to day life. I will have to become more active in the forums and posts on this site because there are so many but lovely,intelligent and wise people in here that i would consider myself lucky to be friends with. I am a uni student. I am almost at the half way point of a 6 year double degree. I live in the student village and have done so since i started. I am surrounded by young people. I am almost always the oldest in any unit I do, I am usually older then the lectures and tutors.Am i grumpy. LOL well it would be nice to get up one morning and have an empty clean sink, it would be nice for the toilet to not look like a long distance shooting range. It would be nice to leave an umbrella by the door and expect it there next time I need it. It would be nice to open the fridge without the need of a tetanus shot and gas mask. It would be nice if what i put in there remained there. It would be nice to enter a common area and not feel the misplaced silence and fearfully stares normally given to authority figures. It would be nice to have a swim in the pool without feeling like a lecherous old man. It would be nice to do a group project in which everyone contributed equal. It would be nice that anything less than a high distinction was considered a fail. It would be nice if everyone could not start to pack up 15 minutes before the end of a lecture or waft in half an hour late. it would be nice to be surrounded by people enthusiastic about what they are learning. It would be nice to be treated as an equal.Am I grumpy, no not at all, what could possible make me resent and despise the inconsiderate unthinking folly of youth. I fit right in with my priority being the next party, the constant ego wanking and if you wait long enough the toilet paper will appear by magic and whats in the fridge is mine unless it has hairs on it. If you have to back up statements with "I didn't mean you" when replying doesn't matter what age you are. Still hurts. We won't post again cause zero tolerance happens to the best of us. Young or OLD Ba hum bug and all! Well in my opinion... And characters aplenty we have. Don't judge us all by your one topic though will you. I, along with many others, absolutely agree with the idea of welcoming new opinions to the forums! Your welcome seems to have been more of a trial by fire, but don't let that put you off finding out to handle the feisty people you're going to come across if you spend time here. It's not just the regulars that can be teste!

Peachy, it wasn't anything like a trial, they put up a post and whined at everyone's comments, the old farts were helping them, but they don't seem too want help, just a Unicorn hunt again. Must have hit some nerves, it's a reflection thing. Some people are their own worst enemies.

but I can also see how the posts might have come across differently to someone new to the forums. The first post on the thread seems quite disparaging towards couples looking for the 'unicorn'. Honestly said by Meeka and an opinion to be respected by a supposed 'unicorn', but It's alright for those of us who have a better sense of the place and I do think it can be difficult if you don't! It takes two to tango is what I always suppose. <3 Can't wait to see who exposes me hehe...

I hadn't looked at your thread before Join us and I honestly think apart from maybe a couple of comments that most people were respectful and supportive.....everyone has been a newbie,everyone is criticised by someone at sometime....sure it's easy to be a keyboard warrior,but don't let a negative or two dissuade you....the forums BTW are known as the Sandpit.....maybe RHP should have a tick box...plays well with others....or not :-) Anyway ,welcome to the Sandpit....I will happily share my bucket and spade.....oh and I have a Tonka truck as well ,if you need it xxC

Always have. The sandpit might be a positive influence on us as children but when it's mentioned in the forums it's meant in a disparaging way. My above post was not in reply to you btw.
