I've now seen the movie we can't discuss, and let me say the biggest revelation has been the reaction to it. Whilst I still agree with gender equality the term feminism now sits in my mind in the same genre as climate denial, anti vaccination and the church of scientology.

I have managed to get myself a master bedroom with a huge ensuite in Parramatta. There are locks on all the doors in the apartment, and I have setup a small kitchenette in the corner of the room. So, now I pretty much have my own little studio apartment to myself, in a building with a heated pool, spa, and sauna. Let the entertaining begin! - Posted from rhpmobile

So pissed off, people can be so damn selfish and thoughtless. Hisself might be out of a job soon though he has cut his hours down to 3 half days a week to try to work with the situation. But after a business has been raped by it's owners, family and accountant there's not much left for anyone else. That's not even to mention the gov't and the slack way they run their business in regard to paying their bills and having someone in charge to forward the new work it's subsidiaries keep ringing for and demanding. It's only the generosity of it's working force and the original owner of the business that has it still running at all. And now life has gotten in the way with that interesting way it has... Good one, life. Peachy

It, I won't start a thread for the purpose of posting that l have a headache. You have filled a couple of pages with your musings. And good on you. But your subject is predominately your verses demonstrating your interest in the political/business landscape so on that basis, feel free to start your own thread for people to comment. appropriately if they are interested. If (as you say) you have not read all of my posts (and I don't expect everyone/anyone will), you will have failed to notice I have covered a range of different matters. The common thread to my posts has been Philosophy. I have openly stated (more than once) I am interested in the way people think about various topics. Many of the limericks I've penned relate to matters which feature prominently in the media, and carry broader implications that may affect everyone. Does the prospect of thought or discussion (beyond the sexually explicit) pose threat to anyone's position here?

And here I was, thinking it was good to see someone was posting something on the thread that wasn't involved with power play... I'd understand if the thread was at risk but if it's your inability to scroll past a few boring (to you) posts, meh. I think you're mixing your arguments too, at the cost of each other. Suggesting this is not the thread for those sorts of posts because it should be a topic... Then following up with a suggestion that this is not the sort of site for that topic at all. Aw, and with that lovely personal dig at the end. RHP is supposed to be a place for adult topics and that has totally included politics over time. Ironically, it's the politics of the place that seem to inspire forumites the most. A little bit different from a forum precisely based on politics I think, where someone is going out of their way to make the population feel uncomfortable would obviously be unwelcome. And we're supposed to be an open minded forum, what a laff. Peachy

My take on this is that the topic is everything and nothing... but it didn't ask for it to be said in limerick, which you seem to be talented in. Whether or not I like your thoughts or content of them is largely irrelevant and not what I want to discuss, to me it is the continued rhymes that might be starting to annoy people perhaps. They're not annoying me, I'm starting to just skip straight over them as I'm not sure how to respond. My point therefore is, that if you want to say that Trump is an idiot and get out some other things that you feel strongly about then maybe just out and say it. I don't like the way Trump conducts himself either, so if you did you may find people would get involved in the conversation. This would go with the everything and anything theme and include others. The limericks don't really ask for comment and and may dissuade others like me from commenting because they don't have the talent you have to join in. Bugger the politics I say, start a limerick thread where those who want to banter with their limericks of their own subject join in with. Cheers.

Quoting 'ontology'The common thread to my posts has been Philosophy. I have openly stated (more than once) I am interested in the way people think about various topics. That's all well and good, if your strategy of using limericks is generating discussion and debate. A quick scroll through the last 20 or so pages of this thread failed to show much evidence of that. Sure, we may be talking/thinking about your limericks at the moment, but the key word is 'about'. We're talking about them, but we're not engaging with the issues you raise in them. IMO, it appears your strategy is not particularly effective. It could be because your target audience doesn't like the limerick format, or because your target audience is not on this media platform... which case you're just talking into a void. Speaking for myself, I always used to read your posts and found them interesting and thought provoking. Although I didn't often agree with your point of view, it was still interesting to see a different perspective. Now I just skip straight past the limerick onslaught. And then there's this....Does the prospect of thought or discussion (beyond the sexually explicit) pose threat to anyone's position here? That's just a cheap shot. Take a look at the many and varied forum topics and comments (including in this particular thread), and its obvious that people posting in the forums are more than happy to discuss and debate a whole range of subjects beyond the sexually explicit.

But I've decided I need a complete change of scenery, so am applying for positions in Bris and at the Coast (both over an hour from where I currently live), and will move the minute I find something. Must be the year for naughty forty! And while 40 isn't old, it may be the middle of life for some of us. But you go girl, get out of there and live life. When we moved to Melbourne from North Queensland about ten years ago, my friend's mum said, "well you might as well go and check things out, you don't want to be living in the boonies forever". She was right, good to get out and explore a different life, make new friends etc. Hope you find that ticket and explore the possibilities.

The open forum is not the sole means of communication between here. It is not necessary to demonstrate evidence. target audience Posting of any content (by anyone) to an open forum may be intended to be noticed by particular people, by all people, or by no people in particular. As regards the topics considered 'political', it is worth noting politics may (and indeed does) cover anything and everything to do with living in an organised society. Also, in context of this being a dating and social networking site, it is worthwhile to note determination of personal compatibility encompasses more than merely aesthetic attraction, the basic mechanics of peoples' genitals, or the logistics of getting said genitals in contact with one another. thought provoking Whether or not feedback is communicated or broader discussion inspired, sometimes it is enough to simply challenge people to think. different perspective Whether or not feedback is communicated or broader discussion inspired, sometimes it is enough to simply challenge people to think. whole range of subjects Several of which I note might be considered to be (or bear ramifications which are) 'political' in nature...

It's been just in the last few weeks I've played around again with limericks again. It's a simple format and they're pretty easy to come up with. I was introduced to them in Primary School. As grown ups we (might hope to) have a greater vocabulary, and understanding of double entendre. The trick with a good limerick is to fit as much meaning as you can into just five lines of rhyme. Anyone who does not understand, or does not appreciate the form (or any specific limerick) is free to scroll past. I am not offended.

I haven't been challenged to think 😂😂😂 yes I know that's a hard but to crack, but it just annoyed the crap out of me 😉 I believe that was your intent (end masse). Limericks directly followed your dictionary formatted posts, equally as irritating. Reading and quoting a dictionary? Do you carry one around with you just for a bit of light reading? lol limericks should be, and most often are, brilliant, I love them. But come on, posting pages and pages of them? Re scrolling, been doing that, but I think your intent with the way you have gone about this, is a misuse of the forum. What do you hope to achieve by continuing with it? They also say, its better to find a job, when you already have a job....it might only be transition Missb, but with you personality and spunk (and like relationships) there is always something for everyone just waiting to put your name on it.....I was made redundant a few years ago from a company I had been with for over 15 years and was very loyal to them, however it was a business decision and I remember at the time, I was angry and felt betrayed. Once I got over the fact it was not personal but a transition time for them ....and for me.....I realised it was the best thing (career wise) that ever happened to me ...I too landed a transition job pretty quickly but it gave me time to think about the type of work I wanted to be in and I worked towards that goal while in a number of jobs and short contracts ....and now I work in an industry that I am so passionate about..... I have no doubt you will bounce back Missb, you got this, your next job will be just around the corner, identify what it is you like to do, have a plan, work towards it and youll be fine... take care Quoting 'Missb4u' So unmotivated. ...in hunting however only if the hunter has taken the time to train himself and uses the right tools of the trade. I am not a vegan so if a few middle men are cut out of the equation, so be it. Too I would never hunt a species that had even a remote chance of appearing on the endangered list, for a trophy which to me is disgusting or for any reason other than to roll the clock back a bit and keep my own freezer topped up. The mongrels that shoot a lion, elephant, rhino, zebra etc. and take pictures? They are the ones that should find their way to eventual extinction. I also raise quite a nice veggie garden and damn if I don't have to hunt and kill them to prior to making a really well-balanced meal. Ohhhh no, I think I just heard a carrot screaming! ....CM

is it was honing in on the identity of one individual, outing of sorts, and the new topic it seems, is also making reference to one individual, so I don't see the point in starting a new topic about it. It also seems to have turned into a bitch about men. There are as many women who bitch behind the scenes, why highlight men as the problem? Everyone has their knickers in a twist because an opinion was shared that should have remained private, but leaked back through the rumourmill apparently. Mountain out of a molehill?

Hi LilyO I asked for the thread to be deleted. Got the answer I wanted, it did not deteriorate to a "man-bash" people were really great in their overall view that marketing trends can lead to the misperceptions the people on the site and who attend Socials etc are Supermodels (male and female). And even better those who offered up their own first M&G experiences where theywere nervous to begin with only to find everyone warm and welcoming. It was good though to note that some people just don't get it and think we have to meet their own personal standards before they'll be sociable/engage/talk to anyone, or like some just go "Is that it? No one decent" and leave ~ toodaloo to these gems and more fun for the rest of us. 👍🏽 Cheers Indy PS. I am not a gossip mongerer and after all these years have rarely heard anyone else doing it either. Paranoid much?

I posted my comment on your forum and then left it at that. Like you said, I was nervous initially as scared they'll all be supermodels. Glad people were normal and quite nice. Your forum just brought lots of memories to me. You gossip mongerer? I don't think that's you. You were one of the most supportive and intelligent people I have met when I first joined. I always admired your fair and level headed view of any matter Indy. regardless if we may not agree on things, you were always respectful and so drama free Cheers

I think it's always good to remember people have enough real life shit happening without the crap that happens here Happy Monday everyone! ~ OS

I'm only moving one suburb over thankfully so most of it will go in the car. Just sell it all and start again.
