Quoting 'SoftandCurious' That last cocktail was like rocket fuel! I don't know how they were making any money that night 😂 Your description made me think back to my school days. One of my schoolmates of Russian background lived with his grandparents not too far away from myself. As we went into the higher levels at High School, a number of us started to socialize outside of school. At times we would go and play cards at this friends house, and his grandfather used to brew a particular potent homemade concoction, which we just referred to as Rocket Fuel. Memories..... Tall

That's what we used to call the concoction made from all of the cocktails people couldn't drink at parties. They would all get poured into a big jug and whoever was still standing use to drink the rocket fuel. It was nasty stuff and probably very dangerous looking back now.

Sorry to hear about the passing of (yet) another friend. The circle, and cycle, of life. Once you get to a certain point in life, these passings start to become more a fact of life - unfortunate as they may be. As you said yourself, cherish the times you have with them, and cherish the memories thereafter. Tall

Quoting 'sweetgem' I have no luck in betting my money on gambling lol I bet my (mind) money on Courtney from this season's Bachelorette, he fell off the radar, then I bet it again on Matty and he's gone too! 😂😂 IMO the production team went wayyyyy overboard in setting up the blindside ending - unless Lee coasted through to the win simply because is from Melbourne (and she hasn't been annoyed by him responding to everything like he's a Disney Princess answering beauty pageant questions) then they cut out everything of their relationship just to play up shock exits - though that editing style just leaves a sour taste for the fans. I only watched it this morning, it was boring as batshit and I just couldn't care less about them. The only joy in the last couple of episode was making snarky tweets at them splurging on "Scoot" business class airfares... about as fancy as a Virgin Domestic economy seat (if doing Singapore on cheap flights, go Air Asia and bid to get an economy row to yourself, way more comfy than Scoot Biz). Bachelorette Aus had such promise but ended in a stinker, as did the Bachelor Au season before it - Shine weren't great, but Warner Bros seem to have sucked at it even more. My current top picks "Bachelor or similar" shows: Bachelorette Canada Catching Kelce (push through the first episode and he settles out of being a giant douchecanoe)

The fact I grew up in a coastal town, as the beach became part of my soul. Went to see the Dracula, a brilliant theatrical show produced by the local drama casts and crews, on last Saturday night at the Genesian Theatre. It was a great entertainment and the best part of it all was, it did not break my bank to attend the theatre! Only $30 per ticket in the Stall section and I highly recommend it to anyone, who loves live theatrical performance, to go and see this show! 👍🏼👍🏼 they only perform for eight weeks in total and will conclude the show on 3 December 2016. I am all for supporting the local productions and proud to have witnessed such awesome performance, which is home based! 👍🏼👏🏼😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

To me, watching shows on TV or online is merely used to kill time at odd hours. I don't usually take entertainments on the screen (big or small) too seriously as all are scripted to suit what the production companies wanted to show to their audiences! Therefore, no point in wasting my time and energy on analysing anything I watch! :) and this is why I much prefer to watch live performances such as, musical theatre, and live theatre like the Dracula I saw on last Saturday night. - Posted from rhpmobile

Even when I don't actually need to be up late, I frequently do anyway; especially if I'm really engaged with what I'm doing. I often lose track of the time and just keep going until I feel tired. Fortunately at present I'm able to run to my own schedule between deadlines. I have a few things on the go at the moment, and there are some milestones for each that I need to hit before I can slow down just yet. For the most part though, I'm enjoying my studies. Besides, I think I'd actually go a bit stir crazy here were I not so occupied just now.

that 'talking wig' is about the only hope left for the U.S. . Kilary should have been in prison years ago. You don't vote for someone because they are black or a woman, you vote for them because of their ability. Look up Trumps 'contract with america' for his first 100 days, and see if you can find fault. speaking as an american, he is FOR america, and won't let other countries screw us over financially like they have been. And another FYI for those of you who haven't been keeping up: Right now, NATO has 300,000 troops on full alert because russia is massing troops along the border. you know, in case hilary is elected. It is WAY worse than you think. I will take the talking wig anyway as opposed to a career politician who is a criminal. There are semis full of sand parked in front of trump towers in case some 'tolerant' leftist decides to car-bomb it when he wins.

Quoting 'yankmychain56' that 'talking wig' is about the only hope left for the U.S. You know that some of those claims are simply meaningless, he can propose certain things till his hair falls off - but he can't make them all happen, in some cases he's asking Congress to limit itself, knowing that there aren't the votes in congress. He also proposes making something illegal which is already illegal... Declare China a currency manipulator? EVERY country manipulates currency, the US Fed is one of the biggest currency manipulators too. If you don't understand that then you have no business talking about economics. This is as silly as that Facebook video from the British parliamentarian spouting off about the evils of quantitative easing - because the lay person doesn't understand it. The Donald effectively says he will be going head to head with Amazon and Alibaba, define "unfairly impact American workers". As an American citizen, should the government prevent you from buying a bargain? Stopping money to climate change programs? The "revenue neutral" trillion dollar investment? it's through tax incentives, it's to the tune of a trillion dollars, it isn't revenue neutral. Look up Trump's contract with volunteers. you expect good contracts from a guy who tries to have his volunteers sign contracts preventing them EVER criticising a Trump product or person FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE? He made volunteers sign a contract requiring them to also prevent their employees from helping another candidate. How can employer legally prevent their staff from freely volunteering or criticising others? Definitely a supporter of the American notion of free speech. That contract has clauses trying to extend itself until Trump finishes a second term... effectively it lasts forever if he doesn't get in and finish two terms straight away. (The contract would be tossed out by any court that saw it) Why do you put so much stock in the contract from a fellow who has a history of simply declaring all his contracts null and void, leaving creditors in the lurch? (i.e. declaring bankruptcy?) Trump is good at pandering to populist claptrap - all he missed was something to appeal to the anti-vaxxers. It's publicity. The interesting upshot of Trump's way of forcing mexico to pay for the wall, is that The Nigerian Scammer, is likely to become The Genuine Mexican. Can't transfer money home to your Mexican family, pay a legal American to transfer to a third party outside the country and then transfer it on to your family.

While Bernie is a far left lunatic, there is something he and Trump share that struck a nerve in the U.S., we are SICK of politics as usual in Washington, left and right, and hilary is a part of that corrupt system. Anything that Trump does is FAR better than our current clown in chief, doing nothing.
