I like to buy Aust company owned stuff, and this is a brand called SAFCOL Sth Aust, Fishing, Co-Op Ltd. Anyway, when packing it into the pantry, i saw on the label "FAD Free"........WTF looking and reading the label, i find out that the FAD stands for "Fish Attracting Devices?. So my fish, the shitty kind. Phucking Tuna, a food fit for cats , has been caught in a manner that does not include Fish attracting devices. Does this mean that no bait and hook was used, and if so how in fact was it caught? This new speak BS is driving me insane Any fishers out there?

Not sure why we need three Anything threads but maybe Peachy was making a point which is lost on me, if she was. I did post on the Meeka Anything thread to find out why and also my views on curtailing the number of posts one is allowed. Lol. Not a big fan of censorship. Again, I hate the idea of condoning the minority to dictate the way to go wrt to thought control in the forum, it goes south pretty quickly and defeats the purpose of the 'forum', a place or medium where there is a free flow of ideas to be discussed (yep, it can be achieved) and debated, hopefully in a reasonable manner. I am not a big fan of Nanny State. I will just stick to this one Anything. Less administrative duties.

cos the post tagging is out of sync:)...when I was looking for this topic and I remembered its title began with everything..when I typed the key word everything in the search option no results came up...I think the tagging of this post is "anything everything" whereas the title is "everything and nothing"- slight tagging sync issue there so I assume when others could not find the topic -see me the average user's experience listed above- they opened a new one..this is causing duplication... I reckon this is the ONE so may be if the tagging were updated to "everything, nothing" then the search will work and the topic is not lost :)

In my opinion, one does not resurrect or rehash old topics in the forum for no reason specially if one would like to make a point. There are no rules that say that one can not do so as it is a public forum and if one does want to engage people to discuss or be aware of certain topics that one wants other forumites to scrutinize and ponder upon. However, 2 other Anything threads , identical topics? It is the INTENT in the actions of Peachy that makes it confusing as it is irrational and inconsistent with what I know little of Ms. Peachy, in my opinion. Not being nasty Peachy, but just curious. I always pegged you as one who does not post without intent or have something to say. What is the point of running multiple versions of the Anything thread? What is being achieved? Is it a ruse? Is it to deflect attention from one to another or minimze the importance of one thread from another? Or is she just bored out of her wits? is she tryign to mess up the forumites minds. Lol. One can hypothesize on the intent of the actions until the cows come in but it will be just that, a hypothesis until she clarifies her actions.

there are things in all everything threads that go missing and are worth coming back to. I know occasionally I revisit a thread as I recall some things that have been posted that conflict other things I read. That is why I see some threads worth rebooting. We all have our reasons and without knowing the ins and outs of someone it is only presumption why one might bring something back.

Is anyone else having trouble contacting customer support? When I click the link it just comes up with a page of error messages. Also, when you receive a message from them is there normally a reply option? I went to the Sanctuary meeting in Perth last night with my kids and a friend, as we walked towards the meeting some indigenous people were enjoying a drink in the evening warmth and one called out "tell 'em to fuck off to some other country." Later they came down and quietly sat amongst the crowd, listened to the speakers and the musicians and at the end staggered to their feet and ambled off. The whole time they were there they were studiously ignored by everybody, the crowd, the speakers, the clergy, everybody. It was like they had a force field around them the whole time. They sat and listened whilst the invaders pleaded for more people to be allowed to come to "our country" while they were being ostracised for being. I think that was really fucked.

Underhanded manipulation is rife in the forum as they tried to manipulate to hate some people. If people are not astute enough to see through it, they are easily manipulated. Fortunately, I am not as dumb as I look. I refuse to commit to their little crusade and just listened and observed what they said until I got a full picture. I was trying to find out their agenda. My suspicion were confirmed upon meeting them in person and got to observe their behavior. In the end, I decided they were divisive, extremely passive aggressive and hypocritical. They were not worthy of my friendship. Do I hate them? No. I just feel really sorry for them and their sad lives.

I have a feeling that the same complainants had resorted to report you as a way to stifle your voice in forum as you have called them out and when things dont go their way? I hope the mods clarify their reasons and reconsider your IP withdrawal (and somebody else I know) based on your past posts and forum behavior and not be swayed by repeat complainants. Best wishes.

It seriously isnt a big deal for me to not have IP. Just stops the instant friendly and joking banter I enjoy with many ppl on here.

Yes = Instant postingSometimes they give it to you after a period of problem free posting.Sometimes you can get it by asking nicely via customer support Given the current state of events, maybe leave it a few days before asking.................

I think lily was on the money with why you'd lose it. I find it frustrating and rude the way they just silently take IP away (or delete posts) rather than giving some indication of why they did something. If you don't know why it was done you can't modify behaviour to fit within what they deem acceptable.

I have just noticed that a couple of my posts have been deleted. I have no idea why, and I've had no feedback as to what was wrong with them... it's a bit disappointing.
