  Are just fighting their own aging fears. Fine to have younger, fine to have older, whatever works at the time. Those that insist on that strictness are really just kidding themselves surely.

  I don’t recommend them....yes got a new car and a few boyfies, managed to lose my 6-figure career and eventually move into new car instead of a cardboard box. Homelessness without having a car to sleep in would’ve been a lot worse so I was lucky I had my leather upholstery to snuggle into at night. Let’s just say I have my shit back together and thankfully I’m ageing gracefully enough that lying about my age here seems pointless 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m not into guys 2 decades younger than myself (drawing my preference line at the magical 35) and being in the “pushing 50” bracket if there’s a half decent man willing to leave his baggage and masculine mid-life hang ups out of it than happy to chat/meet with the mid 50’s set since that’s where my Mr Yummy is at. I meet plenty of older men, usually requiring care who enjoy regaling me with stories from their youth whilst I wash them down and dress them up! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I always get the feisty ones 😊 ~ Ageing....it’s all in your perspective. PS I may however start to Benjamin Button when my attention quotient deteriorates........yeah.......naaaaah

  A few forumites who were several years older than me when I first joined, are now my age (or even younger). An interesting Benjamin Button effect. Each to their own, I guess it helps to fall into a certain search category (or avoid it). But when it comes to meeting face to face, I believe honesty is the best policy. And some people here have really flattered themselves a little much when choosing their ages I think, but that's none of my business.

  Hi OP. Honestly, i have never ever paid much attention at that fact. As mera of fact, what is the point of laying about something you can't hide??? I am 43 and extremely well lived, and loved.
