Ok... so I'm really 24.. but who's counting :p I just don't like all the unwanted attention I get by nominating my real age. :)I think a saggy arsed mofo is a saggy arsed mofo at any age. Surely we want lovers capable of going the distance without dislocating a hip, and sans uncontrollable wheezing... but unfortunately I've met people in their mid 30's that can't keep up..... It's interesting that few are over 50 but it is endemic through the system... And it's open to interpretation, of course, maybe those people who tell 'em they look 15 years younger only know other people who've lived HARD, lolWhat really gets me is when it's measurable yet they still lie. I can't count how many men i've met who say they're 5'9"-5'10" but turn out to be shorter than me (without my shoes on) and I'm 5'7" (and a half)xx Sarah.... perhaps it's the half, maybe it's really 3 inches?

But he looked in his 70's. His mannerisms were of a much older man and as for his attitudes about people and the human condition, they were well and truly dark ages. I shuddered to think he would even imagine that I would want to have sex with him. What really hammered home how big the discrepancy was, was the next day I had coffee with another man who said he was 52 and he was a hottie! I don't see the point of lying about age either. I find that men in their 30's tend to be honest but those in their 40's and up lie between 5 to 10 years and have pics 5 to 10 years old. . I was guilty of the 5 year lie (but with current pics) but switched to honesty a few months ago. The funny thing is I am now contacted by less men claiming to be my own age (plus 5 - 10years of course) and more young uns. *shrug*

Our ages are as stated and our photos are also recent. The problem is because we are honest we are finding ourselves excluded or not invited to more and more events and parties. Many parties are restricted to the under 45 age bracket. Anything over that is considered to be undesirable apparently. I keep fit and I believe I can more than match it with most 40 year olds yet we are excluded whilst those with the age of 40 (bodies and minds over 50) and those who lie are invited. Yes....why not lie and join the party.

Can absolutey sympathise with that...We have had an honest age on our profile since day 1 and yet so many of the folk we have met have not just fibbed a little...one couple pulled off 10 years on their age but looked like my Nanna and Pop...And theyre dead!!! The only thing is that they set themselves up for rejection and then seem shocked when you say no thanks. We appreciate honesty and have met some that look heaps younger- Yes you do! For the party scene it is a different ball game- exclusion because of a number is very unreasonable when peoples appearances vary so much. After all if you put the work in why should you miss out? Our ages are precise as is everything else on our profile.So if what you are saying is right we should change our Auto Match settings to looking for couple 25-35 to get into the right age group...We did meet a couple who said the hubby was 52. Last week I went through all that there is to make sure I do everything the right way. I drove from north Perth to south 82Km, Had a perfect bunch of flowers, clean shaved, Mark Jacobs Bang collection all over my body, and casual dressed. I reach to the destination, and a lady in her 70’s opens the door, I said, “could you please let A……” that I am here. She said that “I am A……” I could not believe what I was going through. I think there are two answers, or two sorts of people: the ones who lie to get a root, and the ones who lie to get a foot in the door. At my age, and your 59'er's, the response rate is next to zero because of perceptions of age. I imagine some otherwise decent people might fudge a bit in the hope of attracting a little attention to their otherwise overwhelming attractiveness.

The age shown on our profile is our ages , and the way we look at the question and answers given is that alot are going for the younger of the ages and finding liars when they meet , well stop going for the younger ages and look more to the older ones as in 50 year age bracket , alsowhen you check a profile out you see the age bracket they are looking for why send winks and messages to them if your out of that age bracket .

...Many guys who contact me seem to be perpetually 48 -49... then they tell me they are mid 50's......When I do ask them why they have fudged their age, they generally say once the big 50 kicks in, they no longer appear in many search features. . I can understand why they do that.....may not be happy with it, but can understand their reasoning. . If someone doesnt tell me they have fudged their age in their first message to me....forget it! I like to have the opportunity to make up my own mind thanks. . There have been a few posts on age....and I have always been up front on my profile and in the forums , I am 52 - 53 in a couple of months. . most people don't believe i'm 42. apart from the obvious being male and having a mental age that never made it past being a teenager, everyone who finds out how old i am after meeting me thinks i'm mid thirties. i got it from my mums side, shes 78 and most people think shes in her late 50'si wondered when i signed up if it was worth saying i was younger as allot of women are just not going to look for someone past 40 if they are last 20 or early 30's, and being honest every old guy wants a younger women.direct any abuse for that last comment to my mailbox, its empty at the moment and anything new would be nice.

I am actually in my early 60s. I feel glad I got that off my chest. In all seriousness I doubt at my age people lie about how old they are but give me a few years and I might feel differently. I don't see why people like about things like that though when it's quite obvious straight away if they are lying. Sets a bad precedent if you ask me.

There was a regular contributor to the Forums. He had his age at 40 on his profile...but when we added each other to MSN he confessed to being 49 (just before putting his pic up)...and then wondered why I wouldn't chat anymore! < I too look at profiles that state a younger age and when you open it up...they are clearly 10 years plus or more over that age! < I have the opposite problem..I have people accuse me of lying about my age as they say I don't look anywhere near 50 lol. My age is correct and my pics are recent and validations are from real people. 51 next month but extremely fit and active, and probably moreso than a lot of much younger people. Have just got in from a 60Km cycle ride averaging 32Km/hr. I turn 42, but for some reason I've never waited for my actual birthday to increase my age. A throwback to my younger years where you always wanted to be older, now I don't care so much because noone can guess my age even remotely close.

Let the liars be liars, as they will be caught out eventually. Age, or penis size, are probably lied about as much as body type and size. I've come across 'average' being used to describe orca more times than I care to count...would love a dollar for every time tho lol People will lie for reasons unfathomable to some of us. People have expectations beyond what some of us consider reasonable. People do things that cannot be explained by others. Vanity on a sex site? Priceless!

Hmmm... well honesty is the best policy, but at the same time it's all too easy to have preconceptions based on age (eg I followed that thread about 'younger guys', apparently to the ladies this is synonymous with stamina... some us might beg to differ) and seeing it is a search criteria on RHP, I can see why some might put a younger age so as not be precluded from being a search result... I guess if they make this clear in their profile it's not unforgivable. I thought about doing this: dropping a couple of years to be under 45, but screw it, I yam what I yam. Besides, given their over flowing inboxes, I don't think many woman don't really do the search thing anyway (?) so probably a moot point.But it sounds like alot of people really push the reality envelope too, which could also explain alot of the 'unreliable men/woman who didn't turn up' threads... suddenly having to live up to marketing hype is probably a tad confronting I guess.

I agree, wha's the point!!....sure, someone may contact you, but when you meet and they realise your older than you say...isn't it awkward and embarraasssing? My age and photos are accurate because I want the person I meet to get what they expected. I've been on the other end and just pissed me off. Plus, If I really like the woman that I meet, then the last thing I want is to lose the opportunity to fuck her because I lied about my age and am not what she expected.....

There is a guy on here who says he is 47. He posted a forum about manners and someone outed him about his age - I looked up his profile name on another site and sure enough he is 57! He went off line for a while and is now back with a different profile name!!! Ooops - why bother lying about your age - no matter how old you may think you look you are what you are. Lies just wreck it for me. If you are going to lie about your age what else are you going to lie about. Keep it real folks! Honesty is very sexy xxx

I have met up with a woman, in her pics she looked between 40 max 42. Gorgeous. She didn't have a cam. We finally met. She was still as hot, but her real age turned out to be 48/49. Well i have a confession to make also. My profile is actually .... TRUE !! Yes, true - the age - the length of my "willy wonka" (but has a slight bend - ha) - all of it - is as you read!I'm in my 50th year and proud of it and my life so far! Proud of my Military career and my IT career.I feel and look just as good as i did in my 30's - but that's for others to notice - or not.So even if u are healthy enough to look 10 yrs younger than you are - you are screwed if you are asked to see your drivers licence!! ... so dont bullshit !! ....... others will find out then you will be history anyway!If someone writes you off immediately - because of their "pre-conceived" idea of any age (not just 50) - that their concern - not yours! BE SECURE IN WHO "YOU" ARE - you didn't and couldn't chose when you were born.Be thankful that you were born.

There are some men that look younger...not many...but some! I got a message the other day from a guy that said he was 38 and then when I saw his Private Gallery he looked older to me! I then messaged him back and asked him for his real age as there was no way he was 38! He admitted that he was in fact 45 but put his age down as 38 as everyone says he looks younger! Lol...I said to him then how did I pick up that he was older if he looked younger? He apologised for lying on his profile..but as others have said on here..if they are going to lie about their age what else are they going to lie about? I wished him well in his search and asked him not to contact me again! I just don't like people that lie fullstop! xFunlovingx

I feel bad having my real age on my profile... it seems so many other people my age, guys especially, have lived such hard lives. Whilst I'm happy to have led such a privilleged life, I can't help but think I may be looked down upon because I don't show such wisdom and experience in my face yet. :(This makes me sad.
