Sexual Health Testing Australia

September 16 2023

⬇️ Links at the bottom if you don’t want to read my speel 😅

I seriously love sex, especially being fucked raw and being filled with nice big creampie, swallowing or having my face and body covered in cum, the more the merrier! 💦 🥧

Or diving into a delicious wet pussy and lapping up that nectar 🍑

But I’m also well aware of the risks we take with every partner we have.
We can’t trust everyone to be open and honest with us, especially when it comes to STI’s, unfortunately there is still a big stigma about them even as the population becomes more sexually liberated.

As individuals we can only lead by example to hopefully reduce STI’s AND the stigma that comes with the topic and testing.

As a traveler I found it hard finding places to get tested regularly from town to city, state to state. Although being in a new place made me anonymous and in many ways easier to be honest with all the questions that get asked, I still found it uncomfortable disclosing my sexuality and activities, but to me this is something important so I push myself through that discomfort.

I found a cheap but extremely easy option to get tested regularly, anywhere in Australia without having to book in to see a doctor and to receive fast results straight to my phone.
If you test positive for most STI’s, you will automatically be sent a script for the antibiotics required at no additional cost for the script. Filling the script will still cost you.

Your results will be sent to you via your phone so you have a copy of everything for your own records or to share with partners.

I share my results with past partners (in between tests) especially negative results to open up that conversation and in many cases it’s prompted many to go get themselves tested and feel more comfortable about the process and conversations about STI’s and testing.

Things I’ve discovered on this journey.
ℹ️ STI’s in one location do not mean they are in all locations. You can test positive orally but negative vaginally and anally.
So only testing urine or vaginal swabs like many sexual health clinics do, may not be giving you accurate results.

ℹ️ Most sexual health clinics don’t separate the locations so you won’t know where the infection was. Reason I mention this is you can have oral chlamydia and not vaginal or anal which means any unprotected oral is still a risk of transmission. Blow jobs count so tell those partners too haha
ℹ️ Window periods matter. Test results may not show anything you have picked up in the last 2-4 weeks which is why regular testing is a good practice.
ℹ️ Many STI’s show no symptoms so testing can be the only way you know you have one.
ℹ️ Most STI’s are easy to get rid of with a simple antibiotic and a short break in sexual activity.
ℹ️ Just because you’ve been with a partner that tested positive does not mean you will too.
As a nurse once told me, “it’s like a common cold, some will catch it, others won’t”

📲 If you test positive and are not comfortable telling a partner or past encounter that you tested positive, you can send an anonymous text to let them know (if you have their phone number) many prefer to know who but as this is often still an uncomfortable topic, anonymous is better than nothing at all.

My preferred Testing Australia Wide is: Stigma Health
https://www.stigmahealth.com/

You can also use this one, I’m not sure if they send scripts as part of the price.
InstantScripts
https://www.instantscripts.com.au

QLD residents you can also get free STI testing sent to you and done for free for chlamydia and gonorrhoea.

I’ve used STI in this Sexually Transmitted Infection as the more modern term but also know as STD, Sexually Transmitted Disease

Thank you for posting this! It is so important to get tested regularly. We use instascrips and have found them easy. Chatted to a GP online - no lectures were given. 😀💕

Informative and hard on inducing at the same time. Agree completely, just as important as the testing is communication. Always a good sign to chat with people who are on top of these things. With great filth comes great responsibility 😆 I use InstantScripts (instantscripts.com.au) it's Vic based, 1/2 the price of Stigma and often get the results by the end of the next business day. You can log on and access results to print/download. The stigma app can be glitchy too.

Thank you for writing this great detailed post and sharing the available resources. When I entered this new lifestyle it was hard to navigate so I talked to my local gp of 10 years she was quite helpful. I like to have open and honest conversation with my play friends even my vanilla friends about sexual health. Stigma health has been amazing. It's fast and efficient service. I can get 3 tests for the price of 1 dr visit! Bonus fits my schedule and lifestyle and my local pathology let's me do vaginal swab options. App is perfect for full visibility to share with others. I'm amazed how many people don't get tested regularly in this lifestyle.
