Caravan Park Adventures

Last summer, hubby (Rich) and I (Jen) decided to take the kids on a week-long caravan trip to stop everyone going crazy over the school holidays. Unlike previous trips, we decided to park ourselves at the one spot for the entire week, to avoid the whole pack-down and set-up routine of our little pop-top. We had discussed this at length, acknowledging that we would be limited in the number of new sights and experiences we’d come across … or so we thought.

Over the course of the week, our two kids managed to quickly find new friends in the way only kids seem to. For us adults, that required alcohol!

On site 109 next to us was another couple – Matt and Soph - slightly younger than me (a young 38!) From the time we backed our van in, we could tell they were livewires. Music playing; drinks flowing early in the afternoon, plenty of smiles and an all-round good vibe! So, from night 1, it was drinks under their awning from the moment dinner was finished.

Matt and Soph were good eggs – apart from their sense of fun, they had a willingness to include anyone and were open to everyone’s viewpoint. He is a professional of some sort; she a trained lawyer working in some corporate job. Both had kids to previous marriages but for this trip were kid free … this was their off-week, or as they called it, their “fun week”.

Oh, and they were also incredibly hot.

By night 3 a guy from a neighbouring site, Johnno, had also joined us for drinks. He was younger, maybe mid 20s, a tradie with piercing blue eyes and a footballer’s physique.

That night we all drank a bit more than previously. There was plenty of banter and as the night went on, it became more flirty. This had got me unexpectedly horny. We were making room inside and transferring the booze when, wouldn’t you know it, our youngest kid comes wandering over still half asleep and asks for "someone to lie down with him". Damn – this was a really fun night which was now about to be cut short. So I stood up, grabbed my little one by the hand and started walking back to our van, when Rich rushed over and said “why don’t I do tonight, you look like you’re having fun”.

When I opened the door and stepped back in to Matt & Soph’s caravan, I got an almighty cheer … they had all thought I was done for the night!

The drinking continues and Matt pulls out a pack of playing cards. He proposes a very simple game: we all draw a card, and whoever get the highest number can order the person with the lowest number to do something … and they can't refuse.

For the first couple of minutes, its all pretty harmless.

“Tell us your most embarrassing moment”; and

“Skull a shot of tequila”

I get a little more risqué by asking our 20-something hunk to take his shirt off, to which he doesn’t hesitate and promises to get me back.

Sure enough, he pulls the highest card and orders me to take off my underwear. Now this is taking things to another level, but given I'm still wearing my tight white TShirt and summer skirt, I figure I’m fairly safe to comply. Then Soph draws a king against my two, and she orders me:

After what seems to be an eternity, Johnno tells Matt he has to finish up as it’s his turn. So Johnno now takes over.
