Hey Miss..If the 'playground' is at a hotel, and there is booze and mixers and toys and stuff then I have always assumed that its to help cover the cost of all the above.. Usually the hotel rooms can be $400+ per night, add some bottles of champers and a couple of bottles of spirits and mixers and you have a fairly sizable bill..That not even including the trip to the sex shop before hand to buy some virgins! (sex toys I mean Sheesh! :p) If your mates are single guys, and going as single guys, then because they are bringing the least amount of capital (AKA women) to the party, then they foot most of the bill! However if the party is at someones private house, and its BYO everything except for your birthday suit, then you are spot on.. What is there to pay for?!? Are they paying for rent an electricity? In that case, if we all got ABN's and declared to the ATO that we have some type of sex business, could we claim the cost of going to one of these gangbangs as a business expense? LOL

We will assume that some couples need to cover some costs associated with a hotel. Any decent hotel that will accommodate 4 or more people is going to be in excess of $600 per night. Sorry we don't do Formula One ;)Having said that we would never expect any guys to fork out money. We are nice hosts :)

There would be a line of horny single men stretching for miles waiting to get in. If the single women had to pay the same as the men how many do you think would turn up?

Yeah instead they let the girls in for free and there is a line up of ugly women streching miles long.

Quoting 'MistressT' There would be a line of horny single men stretching for miles waiting to get in. If the single women had to pay the same as the men how many do you think would turn up? I can see how it does provide a measure of crowd control. The real dilemma is the number of registered interests compared to the number of people who actually show up. I mean, how can you cater for that? There's an on cost right there that can be hit and miss.... if people were more reliable then the figures could be fine tuned.HugsStalky

We organise and hold the odd party on the Gold Coast. If we have to rent an executive home or penhouse, we ask for a donation to cover that cost for the time and it could be as much as $1,000 all up. In order to get 10 couples to a party, you need about 40 expressions of interest, with culling and withdrawls that will yield 20 who say 'yes - we are definitely coming' and only 10 arrive. We prefer to have invitation only, we have built up a list of people/couples on whom we can depend so now when we need numbers we have a core of 6-8 couples who we know will turn up and we only need to find the additional few couples. Catering for that - you can't, we don't. We usually have a BBQ sit down dinner beforehand, starting at 6-6:30 pm and by 8:00 we are at it. Everyone brings their own drinks and food plus either an appetiser or a desert. In all, great nights and many friends are made for future activities. Now that the council has closed the clubs on the Gold Coast, there is an upsurge in parties which in a way is a good thing but gee there are going to be some constituents pretty pissed off at their local council member.

alas the single guy always pays more...why? isnt that sexist? ...what is this, the middle ages? (my quote from futurerama) You really think the guy with $120 in his pocket to get in will be any better/cleaner/cooler than the next guy??? Agian like the government charging us whatever they want for petrol, if they can...they will. Its not whats right or wrong..its what people can get away with....untill enough people complain or stop going, or the group/club closes down.

From what we have seen at the few clubs to which we have been or at parties, single guys are a general nuisance, not always but it's agood bet. They have not presented well, all thay do is slink around like a ferrett and gawk at any open play. There are some exceptions (hi R) but in all the higher charge for the single guys is to firstly discourage them and secondly to even out the numbers. Lets face it, if there were no additional charge all you would have is single guys. I prefer to look at it a real charge and the low or lack of charge for single girls is an incentive to get them to come along. End of rant

Just saying.... I don't think I will ever pay $120 at the door to any one of these events... maybe yes to a season pass... but not for one. Now... a lazy fifty... I might have blown that on a pizza and a bottle of cheap vino... so it's fair game.... In fact, I've walked away dressed in nothing but my undies and a pair of fuck me boots from an inner city venue attemting to charge me $120 at the door..... I mean to say... I'm the entertainment! hehe. They should be paying me!HugsS.

We are happy to pay around $80.00 to attend a swingers party. Swingers are committed couples having sex with others normally other committed couples, so for singles to attend we should be told upfront because that is not a swingers party. By defination there should be no singles at a swingers party.

Ok... indulge me a little... if a party where swinging couples go.. that also invites single women and a few single men is not a swinger's party... then what do you call it.... by definition...? I'm not agro about it... I couldn't care less.... but let's just say I'm shaking my head here in amazement at the elitist and unwarranted disposition to an otherwise interesting topic of conversation. HugsStalky

To keep it breif will summerise but happy to back up with the facts. Or do your google search swingers are allways couples. Its called a sex party, orgy, playing whatever you like. Call it a swingers and singles party? Our point is dont hide the fact there are singles at a swingers party. The term swinging is a describtive term that applies to couples that have sex with others. Committed couples are swingers by defination. Excuse me, the topic was headed swingers parties but by defination swingers cannot be singles. I cannot see why you have a problem with the meaning of swingers / swinging. Its not a elite club you and your wife could be swingers if you both wanted to, you have that choice!

We organise parties on a fairly regular basis and first off they are predominantly couples parties, but we do accept singles of both sexes,we dont believe that ladies should get in free as they attend these events for exactly the same reason couples do so yes they have to pay to attend as do single guys. We do not charge anywhere near what a club charges but running these events does come at a cost, you might be surprised at the work and costs involved in them,we take out expenses for what it costs, and this varies every party depending on how many attend and therefore how much food etc is used. We also DO NOT PERSONALLY MAKE ANY MONEY FROM THESE EVENTS AS ALL PROFITS ARE SPENT ON VARIOUS CHARITY THINGS. We have never had a single guy complain about the cost but we dont charge anywhere near $100 or more each and also the numbers of guys ere very severly restricted bothtogether6

If you are attending or organising a gang bang where there are two or more women present and you charge guys money to attend, it is classed by Qld law as prostitution!! One woman can hold be there without drama, any more and it becomes an illegal brothel...I know this cos I was at one a couple of years ago that was raided by police...it was the full nine yards type of raid...two under cover police at the party, door bursts open two more detectives & two uniforms charging in yelling "Everyone stay where you are!" Everyone detained, searched, questioned, photographed & finger printed. A day in court although no fine or conviction, they were just after the organisers...but still a major drama. I was told people paying for swingers parties where it's couples is no problem but many guys paying to fuck just a couple of girls is a whole different story. Whether it's a hotel or a private home..same thing. Swingers Club holding Gang bangs aren't a problem though. I would never attend a private pay to enter GB again...just not worth it!

Quoting 'AdventureTime' Its not whats right or wrong..its what people can get away with....untill enough people complain or stop going, or the group/club closes down. | They pay that much because they are willing to pay that much. Oldest game in the game...supply and demand. Want the price to come down...stop shopping. You might just find that they offer a "stock take" sale.

totally agree with Donna_Brett, we attended one of those GB's, just out of interest. Have to say, sorry no offence, but the majority of women are real ugly and largely overweight. As a guy, I would not pay one cent for that, as a matter of fact I don't think that I get turned on!! As for private swinger parties, we are a bit fed up with them. We wished someone would organise one for Cpl's only. My Missus just hates it when guys follow her around, touching her without asking etc. Advice for the single guys, if you like to go to a swingers partie please try to find a fem partner.

We have attended a number of functions both at private houses and also 'clubs/businesses' where there have been various cover charges and we do not have any issues with it as we see it as a necessary cost for 'entertainment'.Yes, we agree that some costs seem very high by comparison to others and at times have wondered at the 'single guy pays X' whilst 'single lady free' cost, but we see it as borne from necessity for many organisers. By this we mean that the $ being asked can be a means to filter attendees to a 'preferred standard' that the organiser wants to attend and also to filter to a more genuine or serious level of interest. This more because a male showing interest at a higher $ will be more likely to be a genuine interest than a male attending for free (if that makes sense - sounds better in my head). We do find however that there is nor real difference between high cost and low cost parties in terms of the 'quality' of attendees but will say that at many higher cost parties we have found the single guys to be more demanding in terms of wanting 'bang for buck'. Whilst this is understandable as they have sometimes paid more money for non guaranteed fun than they would to visit a working girl it is also unfortunate as it can ruin a fun time. Now, that said we have also attended a few 'full free' parties with invited singles/couples and had an absolute blast as those attending were known as as such were in a way 'validated' as genuine in a manner that they would not be out of place.Shell and Gaz

We try then go back to couple / couple. Another side to charging guys heaps much the same as a brothel is they expect to score and probably so they should after forking out $150.00. It really is not a good idea at a swingers party.

Quoting 'Maxking2010' Wrong, Swinging does not apply to COUPLES that have sex with others. It can be singles, or a combination of both. RHP has given a description to use "Swingles" RHP Swinging 101 describtion see: extract: http://www.redhotpie.com.au/Article/Swinging-101-711 Swinging (often referred to as ‘the lifestyle’, or ‘the scene’) can be enjoyed in many different ways. Although single women and single men participate in the lifestyle, swinging is primarily for couples since you need a partner to swing with. Singles who participate in threesomes and group sex have been termed as ‘swingles’. You see couples are swingers and when they play they are swinging, A single is invited to play with swingers or a single may invite swingers to play.

We only ever even think about going if it is a selected couple, invite only party. We have standards.
