what car are you?

May 01 2012

okay so a while back my friends and I started classifying each other under car makes and models as a giggle . We later started classifying our girlfriends, other mates, people at work etc. It was our secret language. So for example my mate we called a hilux because with a hilux you could deal a lot of shit and it would still go! I was the black import that was loud in the motor cost too much to maintain and used way too much fuel (because i ate a lot!) The lady at the time I had a crush on was classified as a luxury black Mercedes....because like the car they are classy and sophisticated , but whenever you see one its been driven by some other prick! So i was wondering if you were a car what would you be and what would you classify the regulars as?

A large white diesel 4wd; big, solid, reliable, clean up OK and can go anywhere. Mrs Q is a mid size European wagon; attractive, sexy, fun to drive, functional, and sometimes hard to understand how it works.

Valiant Charger E38 R/T Hemi Orange1971- they beat GT's and Monaro's down the - 1/4 mile - 0-60km and 0-100km :PThe only mechnical issue - was that they put in a 3 speed 'drive mechanism' so all the power and potential of that 6 that went like an 8 couldn't be realised....otherwise it would have won Bathurst IMO :)The analogy-I am like an economical six that goes like an 8 and I have potential but have drive issues :) Oh and I am an old school have nice curves, with a quality and sexy interior.Cass xxx

Perhaps a Bently ,a little bit vintage, well polished cream coloured exterior, the upholstery sweet smelling and oh so comfortable.A little bit posh and a very smooth ride......but changes gears seamlessly for those steep or bumpy rides.x Hugs H

The E38, a vehicle that never got the recognition it deserved. Even with three speeds it was still quicker down the 1/4 than other performance vehicle for many years. You obviously have that classic style that just keeps gets better.

I'd be a Mazda luxe sports crossover style - she looks and feels like an expensive luxury european car, but without the price tag!! You can take her anywhere, out bush, on the beach, city streets. Nice compact interior, modern design with curves in all the right places and bloody reliable too having been serviced regularly by the same loving and attentive mechanic for many years.....oh and he is happy to let anyone take a drive as long as they look after her and he can cum along for the ride .......Mrs Waterbabes xxx (P.S. yes, I have always driven Mazdas lol)

Qt4f- :) and yes and with T,L,C, regular servicing, periodical reconditioning and boring out I am better than new bwahahaha! ;)Ok so I just learned that it wasn't the gearbox it was the brakes lol bad info I read way back. It was faster even with the 3. So my dilemma is am I an E49? ;) with it's improved 4 speed box and better brakes pulling 14.1 sec???. It's just I have been always sentimental about the E38 as the first and because they only made about 300!!! So rare. :( Big fan got it from my dad.Haha soon Jokerza I will be an E49. :D Ha muscle- missed that one! Feeling the pain today though!Quoting 'QLDtwo4fun' The E38, a vehicle that never got the recognition it deserved. Orange is my favourite colour ;) and I am not 'original' crazy I could easily rip that beautiful engine out and stick a 354 in :D (well my partner could) but I would help- love getting covered in grease. ;)

Would your choice of Bently have anything to do with Sean Connery getting into one? (From Russia with Love ; Never say never again)

a mid 70's BDA engined Ford Escort.... drove one when i did my CAMS licence some years ago....theres one in SA.. a true 'giant killer' at 200Hp plus and only 900kgs of weight (300 less than an Impreza).......... it competes in classic rallies and eats v12 ferraris, cobras and gtho's before lunch.....its a seriously quick motor car..(street registered)... and its a sub 2 litre naturally aspirated 70's technology rwd UK designed car......nothing high tech at all....it requires real skill to drive quickly (no 4wd, no traction control. no ABS etc)...........built by Quickco Motorsport in Adelaide...

I had a Charger 770 with 265 & 3spd. I knew the E49 was quicker than the GT351 but I wasn't aware the E38 was. Then there was the very potent but also never developed E55. My personal favorite was my '68 Mustang fastback. I feel it suited my personality. Not too big, not too posh. It was just right. So I'll say I'm a Mustang. Just a high mileage example that's now prone to breaking down.

I like the old 60's Regal with the round bum. Engines had a lot of heart and they were built very tough. I can see you as one of them.Push button auto or column change manual??
