time travel,if you could hop into the Tardis

October 18 2012

which century in history would you like to go back to,for me it would definitely be the sixteenth century,to meet Shakespeare , Leonardo,or Aphra Behn, female spy and writer.Or maybe the eighteenth century ,to meet all those amazing thinkers,Mary Wolstencraft and William Godwin,,the poets Byron and Shelley, the Marquis de Sade and Cassanova, two men on my to do list....so many people ,so many centuries to choose from So what time in history would you like to visit, who would you like to meet...or perhaps your favourite time is now or one hundred years from now.

I would go back the the late 1800's in London and Paris as I am very drawn to this period, I feel that I once lived there. I would like to meet some family members and see how they lived. I would also like to travel to the future and check in on the future family :)

I am absolutely fanatical about this time and place in history   I have endless books, dvds, on the subject...I am a history junkie - but this is my favorite period of time, when so much upheaval took place across Europe because of the love and desire of one woman, the need/want for a male heir and the questioning of the Catholic church and all it stood for   If I was on a quiz show this would be my topic of choice and I would be a hard person to beat..on this subject..(.still cant figure out all the apps on my Iphone though !!!)   I would sell my soul (yes I would) to spend a hour or two chatting with Anne Boleyn (my hero)... what a captivating creature she must have been..to keep a alpha man like Henry dangling for 7 years, to be the cause (not all) of the Reformation and a woman who went to her death with grace and dignity - remarkable seeing she was not guilty of what she was accused of..   Oh and then to have a chat with Mary1, Jane Grey and Elizabeth 1 afterwards.....bliss...

Would be wild to be in such a time of freedom armed with a bit of knowledge of where the cool cats are at.
