  visit an adult shop...have a look at some of the things that are available....rope...handcuffs...wrist and ankle restraints...blindfolds...and so much more. Experiment, try some things, talk about what you each might like. Read some articles and stories on the subject. Be safe and look out for the one that is tied up...BUT make sure you have fun!!

  Start with a spreader. Frankly, everyone should own a spreader. :). Knots. There are beautiful ways to tie knots and there are books showing us exactly how it's done. For no particular reason Japanese bondage springs to the front of my mind. There are perfect ropes of choice as well.... fThe best way to get an introduction might be to find a kink shop in your area and browse the gizmos or come to the big smoke and take a walk down Oxford St or King Street.... if you have to, you can buy on line.... but there's nothing like eyeballing a product for quality checking.   I have a passing interest in ......well anything kink actually ......but I like a bit of bondage.All that Stalk said is true BUT can I say I find leather restraints and spreaders easier than ropes to start So much quicker and an easy start ......its hard to fuck up a wrist restraint you can fuck up knots!   Start by reading Jay Wiseman's SM 101 (second edition). This will give you some of the basic do's and don'ts and has good commonsense advice.When you think you are ready for it I would suggest you attend a BDSM play party. You don't have to play and you will meet like-minded kinksters and maybe pick up an idea or two.   If your feeling unsure about going into a shop and want to be a little more discrete there are plenty of online shops that deliver and are reasonably quick with delivery, ive also found these are considerably cheaper than retail outlets! There are quite a few good publications online and sites to get you on your way! Every journeys different and everyone has a different idea of what they want so have fun!
