i love tats my husband has his back chest leg done and i have 5 but were not to fond of them covering all face heavy on the breasts apart from that we recon everyone should go nuts.

I dont know if I am qualified to answer this as I am not attracted to women at all. I have tattoos. Two of them. Both can easily be covered but I rarely bother. They both signify my freedom after a hard fought battle for it. A few days ago I was picking up a nine year old girl from school and as we were walking back to the car she lent in close and quietly asked if I had seen that woman with all the tattoos. I said no I hadnt and she told me that the woman had tattoos all over her arm and it made her look like a man. Only men should have all those tatoos. Well, sorry folks but you can imagine my horror. A viper in my nest. A child in my own home making such sexist and outdated comments. Well! She was soon put to rights....especially as I have tatoos that she admires as does her own mother. I like tattoos. Not all of them but a tastefuuly done professional tat that hold significance is art. Just any old thing slapped up there for the sake of it is not good no.

but then as i have numerous ones myself of course i do.... : D intrestingly lots of "cleanskins" love my tattoos as well..... even random old ladies in the street stop and tell me they like them! and if someone doesnt like your art, thats their choice find somebody who appreciates them!

Tattoo can be a beautiful art form when designed and created by a good tattooist. I have seen some I could explore for hours and which inspire me to consider getting more. . But on the other hand I have also seen some seriously ugly, badly done tatts which would be awful to have to keep for life.

Personally I don't have any...well other than a tiny little mark left by the needle before I panicked and headed out the door. So what...I am a bit of a needle-phobic and darn proud of being a weenie sometimes. I think some are quite attractrative and interesting...a personal choice that suits the person or tells a story. | Now on the other side, I wonder what it going to happen to all those lovely winged creatures that grace the derrieres of a few young ladies as age begins to inevitably set in. I can almost hear it now, out of the mouth of babes... | ...grandma, I think the butterfly is dead.

Sorry we cannot see them having any usefull purpose, a small number we can accept but heaps and having them visible does not make us hot! Same as body piercings everywhere!

but still think some women can look "Cheap" with them....but that may be the overall presentation of the person. I dont like them on the face or neck but anywhere else is good. I have only ever seen one penis with a tattoo on it ........looked a bit tacky lol x

I have seen some body art that would leave the old masters crying over their brushes and easels. Pity very little of it comes out of the local tattoo studios.

I think the best tatts are those with story to it, that means something to the wearer. I believe tatts are just another form of expression or adornment ... and there are definalty some out there that are so unbelievable, they are definately pure art.

HiI have a small self-designed tattoo on my lower back and I love it. It means something special to me and I didn't get it done until I was 33. Trouble is, I can't see it. Would love to get something more visible to me but the 'what' and the 'where' still evade me (especially taking into account those gravity issues lol).Hubby has one too and I love that just as much!J

i have 13 tatts and dont plan on stopping anytime soon, i love them all and people often comment about how colourful and unique they are, there is hardly any black ink at all in them as most are done without outline, ink on men is soooooo sexy especially on the neck, mmmmm. love that!! and the forearm is sexy too on a guy. women look sexy with them on there legs and wrists and lower back but im a firm believer that the upperarm and chest and shoulder is too masculine an area for women to get tattoos!! celebrate your femininity and individuality and show some skin ink ladies, leave the black tattoos for all those sexy inked up men!!

we both have tattoos but dont make it publicly known. we understand that not all see them as attractive. but having said that, tattoos can look horrible on some and wonderful on others. be aware tho that tattoos that are visible all the time can be detrimental. people form opinions of you based on what they can see..... I have a friend who has facial tattoos. he's a great guy, generous and of kind nature, but hes treated like a pariah because all people see are his tattoos, they never see him at all. the statement he was making as a youth has affected all aspects of his life.

It's like asking whether we like Oranges or Apples really... Some like tattoos, and some don't. I'm possibly abit biased, being a heavily inked chick myself... but I LOVE a lady with ink... and am naturally more inclined to go for girls who DO have visible ink. (By visible ink, I mean more than the 20c piece sized flower on their shoulder and a tribal tramp stamp!!) Any ladies (or guys) who pass me in the street who do have alot of ink, I want to stop them - so I can explore and admire their art. Women who can pull off alot of ink, are incredibly sexy to us... However we think that tattoos on the neck or face are too much...

I love love love tattooed guys and girls, arty and bright or detailed black designs. It might not make you hot but if you're hot already and it suits you, it's like a well-chosen flattering outfit.I have a couple of hidden ones but having lots just wouldn't suit my plain soccer-mum-secret-slut style xx Sarah
