Remember that advertisement of the handsome young man, Rowan, in his 20s, saying "When you're young, you think your're invincable"?.....then fades to black screen telling what happened to Rowan...from melanoma...

I try and find a shady spot to do my sun baking naked. I get enough direct sunlight just being outside. I enjoy nude swimming and letting my bits get salty and air dry! I don't often sun bake by the pool at home. I need to install some screening or the neighbour's will complain. Lol. Hugs Stalky

we do the nude beach thing...so bake in the sand...lol....and we do the backyard thing as well...Shel does the solarium during the cooler months..but i tend to hold my colour longer..we prefer tanned bodies and no tan lines...the added bonus is that the tans actually help conceal flaws...lol

sunbaking nude feels very sexy, I remember the first time I did it my body tingled with excitement at this new found freedom, and yes I was hidden in the confines of my backyard........the trick is not to do too much at once to avoid the cooked look, not a sexy look.Depending on the severity of the sun and if time permits take it slowly day by day 10 - 20 mins each side, this works for me.Bathe in moisturiser every day, keep your skin soft and sexyLove the suntanned look.......Lee

That I live approx 10 km from a nudist beach. Warnbro. Love it. So beautiful the water is icy cold calm and turquoise blue. Naturally I have no tan lines. Interestingly enough at my age I'm one of the youngest people to hang there. Most of my fellow nudists are in their 60 and 70s and many of them r British. I feel totally safe going by myself. There is a nodding acquaintance among us all and always someone happy to watch my bag when I take a dip. Love nude swimming and sun baking and WA is great state to do it in. Just remember to slather yourself in sunscreen and yes always a hat !!!

Your in your twenties, don't do it! Whilst your skin is all soft dewy etc now, by the time you hit forties the damage, age spots, leathery skin is done. Stalky is right go naked sure..but slap that SPF all over yourself and laze out in the shade. Sermon over..and Hypocrisy begins.. I'm from Irish Stock so as it were in my ignorant youth if I ever did sunbake I'd go red>pink>peel>patchy>...hard as I tried I could never emulate my girlfriends olive brown tans, and try I did! God that Coconut oil you could practically hear it sizziling on our skins...Always was on with bathers..I was a good girl way way way back then!Somewhere between there and now I learnt the damage I had been doing ( and I was not going to turn into a latino coloured version..EVER!!) and stopped by my early twenties . More recently We had a 3 x 3 pool in our backyard that after coming home from brisk walking exercise Id stroll through the house strip as I was going and jump straight into pool naked! Was fabulously refreshing to do..love naked swimming. Only deal was we have neighbours across the way that our yard is semi visible from...getting in and out was always a perverse challenge! Nowadays "sunbaking" only ever occurs if Im on holidays and its on a nice comfy lilo under a shady tree or better still a cabana with a tropical drink in hand.

But I do not go down in the day , mostly at 5.30 to six in the mornings and same in the afternoon I have had a ton of skin cancers cut out of me. I used to live in a town up north and worked mustering cattle so was out in the sun to much last one was 36 stitches down the side of my face, nearly got the nerve of my face My friends son in his early late 20s who loved the water, surf boats has just had a hunge chunck cut out of a lovely back Like they say a tan is not healthy. and SLK get your bum over here, the water was great last night but bring ya bathers! Or the fisherman will get distracted and their wives will wack them on the side of the head.

half Croatian, about 10min in the sun turns my skin the same colour as a burnt steak so keeping a nice year-round tan is a piece of cake :-)Nude beaches are good and there's 2 that are about 5min ride from my house and another about 15-20min away :-)But, being the filthy exhibitionist that I am, I'd rather go to a normal beach in a minuscule pair of budgie smugglers, watch all the pretty young things frolic in the sun. The more amusing part of this exercise is strolling past the very buff, arrogant young men who're laying on the beach staring intently at......my budgie....'s.

like most teens, i too baked my self in the sun trying to get that sexy tanned look, but like saturn65 my skin just wasnt designed to acheive that. Today i feel lucky to be alive as nearly two years ago i had a melanoma cut off my shoulder blade, and huges and kisses goes to my hubby for pestering me to get it checked out!!, i was super lucky and my specialist said if i hadnt done something about it when i did i would be in alot of trouble by now or highly likely dead! cause it was in a dangerous place. what scared me the most was the thought that i might not have been here to watch my baby girls grow up!! so next time your sunbathing think about your future, and that shit can happen to everyone and anyone!!

Like some here, I am lucky that I have a legal 'clothing optional' beach quite close by and yes I love the feeling of the air and the sand on my body. So much so that I now don't actually like going to a normal beach!Having said that, the one thing that does piss me off (and I know I am not the only one) are those that equate a nudist beach to a sex beach. At the beach I go to, which is quite long so no need to crowd together we sometimes get the wankers, the perves, the teenage boys and those couples who think it is quite fine to fuck on the beach. Being naked doesn't equate to sex, hell there are families that go there and the last thing they want is to see some couple humping on the beach infront of them. I remember one young couple who got upset when one of the regs there dumped a bucket of water on them. Their excuse was it was a nudist beach (it isn't it is clothing optional) but had to shup up when they were asked if they would behave the same on a normal patrolled beach.

Would love to have been able to achieve an all over tan... I worked out early on in life that my skin doesnt take it.....So I'm better off avoiding the hot baking sun, and find the shade or just enjoy moonbaking.... Oh well... The one advantage (so far) is most of my friends of the same era have had multi skin cancers removed, and (touch wood) I'm yet to have one identified. But I do enjoy being nude........I just have to be sensible when not indoors! Have a Good 'un!

We're generally pretty cautious, although our skins take a tan pretty well.... hers especially. Not interested in deep brown but she gets sexy brown so quick... it is a hot look!A few days at a Mexican couples nudist resort recently emphasised the difference between those who tan and those who don't... and some should save themselves for the pale look (that's attractive too) and those who are lucky can get a bit of sun and not wrinkle and look damn hot. But anywhere in between can be a good look so... don't sweat it too much.Sex and sun burn don't mix.... take it in moderation.

so far in my 24 years of living i havent had any skin cancers or any cancer of any kind, although i do know the risks my grandmother has just had the 100% all clear from her doctor first time in 18 years that she is free of cancer, so im well aware of what im doing and how much worse it will be the more i do it, as it tunrs out ive now started peeling, i somehow dont think thats going to look nice when i go out on valentines eve with the boyfriend and im wearing a low cut no bra dress, ah well thank heaven for make up, although playing softabll tommorrow will be a challenge, as i have to play at 4 pm which is fine and ill be completly covered but having t put on a bra will be painfull, ive been lucky i havnt had to work the past few days so i have been able to walk around the house naked and ive been smotherine myself in aloevera gel and having man ycold showers, . i can say this gettign goosebumps on or under rather, sunburn is funny but very painfull.

I don't go specifically out sunbaking but I don't hide in the cellar either (not unless it's a special occassion). I'll use lotion in the sun or at the beach which can be fun with or without company, but I wouldn't lay on the sand like a rash of bacon either.

The ignorance that pervades this thread is absolutely breathtaking! A tan is not healthy and ignorance is not sexy. It is dead skin cells. I don't care how aesthetically pleasing it may be to some, my family has been touched by melanoma and the terminal variety at that, and I make no apology for that having helped cement my opinion on this issue. . Worse still, there was a time when the term for deliberately exposing your skin to harmful UVA & UVB rays was actually referred to as sunbathing. A misnomer, obviously, because it looks as though these days it is now referred to as the more accurate "sunbaking"and that is precisely what it is. . Good luck with that "tanning schedule" of yours OP. As with many of the choices we make in our twenties, we often don't have to worry about reaping what we sow until we are much older and wiser. . I'm very very well aware of exactly what damage the sun does to one's skin. One of my closest friends is very well placed in the Melanoma Institute of Australia and I've spent quite a lot of time picking his brains about the subject. Of course it is bad to spend a lot of time in the sun, that's a no-brainer. However, we do need to spend at least 10-15min in the sun per day. There are two reasons for this. First is vitamin D levels, which we do not store and must continue to absorb and the sun is the easiest way to do so. Second, mental wellbeing. There have been numerous studies done on this and rates of depression are considerably higher in areas that see very little sun. One study was done in the Swiss alps where those on the eastern face of an alp were tested against those on the western face over a period of twelve months. During winter, the shaded face showed much higher levels of sadness and depression. Now, for something a little lighter, I ride a motorcycle 365 days a year, spend quite a bit of time in the sun and am a smoker. Which of the aforementioned three is likely to kill me first? I plan on sliding into my grave sideways, hands still on the bars with the throttle pinned wide open with a great, big fat juicy grin on my face and if my cock still works, a hard on. I don't really see the point in preserving myself perfectly so I look nice when I get shoved in for cremation.....

You are very obviously very beautiful just as you stand. You not only dont' need to tan like this as the pale english rose look suits you but in 10 years they will start hacking and burning bits of your body off and leaving scars. You just don't need to tan, you're gorgeous xx

I definitely agree that sun is vital for the skin and for the general wellbeing of a human. I love the sun, I love sunlight, I love the warm feeling of sun on my skin. I think the continued advances in research regarding the benefits of Vitamin D are fascinating. No amount of Vitamin D supplements can get close to the real thing. You can get your required intake of Vitamin D without intentionally baking your skin though, that was my main point. I honestly believe I run at half speed in winter and am generally more "depressive" in the colder months, that's for sure! .. Oh and to answer your trivia question, I think the smoking might kill you quicker, based on odds and peripheral complications ... But I can't be sure, especially if you travel on Sydney roads on that bike! . Flirty x

I have just had a peek at your profile....and from that I can see you have skin that is not going to tan.Yes, you will go pink - red and peel..If you really do want a tan, then pay for one....via professional spray tan for special occasions or a self tanning moisturiser.Dove (no, I dont work for them) have a great one out now for less than $5 in most places, there is a fair to medium which would probably be the right one for you.Your Grandmother has shown that you probably have the genetic makeup for cancer so why push it?.I am from an era where the mothercare nurses encouraged young mums, to take off their babies nappies and pop the kiddies in the sun for 5 mins each day for a 'sunbath'. Ofcourse we now know that was for the benefits of vitamin D..For me, that lead to a life long love of the sun and spent my early years on the beach or at the pool, lathered in baby oil or coconut oil.Aware of my sun past, I have had a skin cancer check for the last 10 years......last year I did have my first melanoma removed. Luckily for me, having checks for the past 10 years, it was discoveerd and removed at stage 1..Now you may think thats ok...only stage 1.Yes, in some ways, its great......but it still involved a removal of 4 inches all around the little 'freckle'...down to the muscle.....and no chemo meant I got to keep my hair, this time..I still love the sun, I would go crazy if I couldnt go out in it.....but do so sensibly.

Quoting lmfao12 "Haha only fake boobs float haha :)"Actually it's more the other way. Natural breasts that have enough fat will float (size of course is a factor). Fat floats. That's also why women will often need more weights when scuba diving, even if they are slim, as generally women have a higher fat content than men (I mean in the body overall, not just boobs ;p) Fake ones, especially those with silicone, will not float. Saline ones will or not depending if in fresh or salt water. Of course, also depends on how much fatty tissue the woman naturally has (if a woman was completely flat and had silicone implants, they wont float).

Radiation burn doesn't sound quite as nice as sun baking does it? Yet that's what it is. When you get sunburnt, you are suffering a radiation burn.Growing up I was always the pale one. All my friends had olive skin and tanned easily. Even my family has contrast (my father is so dark I have been questioned more than once as to whether he is indeed my father). I spent much of my youth trying my hardest to get that "beautiful" deep tan, hell I would of been happy with a golden glow. Instead I ended up glowing red and would put Rudolf's nose to shame. My wake up call came in my very early 20's on a New Year's Day. Extremely hung over I slunk away to a secluded area on a beach. Wearing bikinis, I applied sunscreen (unlike Chilli I didn't cover all areas and paid for it), laid down on my back, placed my straw hat over my face and soon fell asleep. The temperature reached mid to high 30s and I slept for hours. Apparently I had my hand on my stomach and the sunburn developed you could see where my hand had gradually slid away. We actually found this amusing at first, until I got really sick. Nausea, dizziness, aching and of course the usual sunburn pain. The area directly under my bikini top was very badly burnt (missed sunscreen and when laying down that sensitive area was exposed). That strip of skin developed beyond blisters, parts went white, it cracked and hardened so bad that I could push one side of my chest and the entire strip would move (and yes it freaking hurt). It weeped, it hurt and there was nothing really that could be done except keep it as sterile as possible. It took weeks before the pain subsided to that of just 'normal' sunburn. The result now is a strip of freckled and white spots. I am extremely lucky (so far) that it didn't develop to cancer or leave worse scarring. There is absolutely nothing sexy about someone who get's a red burnt glow. It is far more beautiful to see someone who has looked after their skin. If you want to join the side of those blessed with olive skin, then get a good spray tan. OP, you have the eyes, face and hair to rock alabasta. You have the best of both worlds!Oh and while I don't bake in the sun, there is nothing quite like late night skinny dipping.

I think there are plenty of things out there that can kill me. What bearing would all of this have if I'm crossing the road and am mowed down by a drunk driver? Sure, I can check everything that is good and bad and I'm sure plenty of things will kill me. However, if I spend all my time worried about what could be bad or go wrong, how much time am I not spending enjoying life and the nicest and simplest of things? :-)

Having already had a couple of sunspots removed I try not to get burned. When I go out on the boat I wear hat, light sleeves and as much sunscreen as I can slop on. When snorkelling I use a rash vest and make sure the back of my legs get a good layer of sunscreen. Despite all the precautions I still colour up and I still get sunspots that have to be burnt off. Don' t kid yourself into thinking tanning is safe and sunscreen will block out the sun.And did you know that exposure to UV's whether natural or solarium, still cause premature aging that no amount of moisturisers or aloe vera will repair.

People say I going to die from sun cancer hell I am 56 and always been naked I hate clothes but like a reader early on said you can go out side and get killed by a truck, yer its a risk so is have sex but its worth it.... I will always be a nudist and have been sence I was able to remove my own clothes..... My wife is jealous of my sily soft skin she say it belongs on a female not a man, hey I was born with it "lol"

littlered is a very appropriate username for you I wouldn't bother heading out to patch up your back. Stick to the bottle or the spray - tan technology has evolved over the last few years so there are some amazing, natural-looking and streak-free FAKE tans out there. I'm horrified spray tans were only mentioned once!! I also notice it's a lot of the older folks giving "sunbaking" the thumbs up? And you tsk tsk, generalise and stereotype us twenty-somethings for abuse of our bodies, lack of respect etc etc. Please.

We go to Tyagarah to be nude but plaster ourselves in sunscreen so don't sunbake as such. Always wear a hat. We wash it off before leaving the beach for a swim in the lake before heading home. Makes for a great day. Usually a Monday when the kids are at school. Crazy that we have to go interstate to take our clothes off.

For aesthetic purposes - it really is a personal preference visual, some people like a tan and some people like to glow in the dark For health purposes - it is devastating when a loved one has suffered from skin cancers and it reminds us all to play safe in the sun. It is also important to note that our bodies do actually need a certain level of Vitamin D, and without it, depression can be a symptom (in which we notice when we have weeks of overcast and heavy rainfall). So like everything else in life, its a matter of working out whats best for you, and finding the balance with it. Nudist Beaches - I love em!!! Nothing like the feeling of being Daryl Hannah from the movie 'Splash' whilst frolicking around like a mermaid. Or better yet, recreating scene's from 'Blue Lagoon' mmmmm. I find it really cute when you notice a much more mature demographic, 80 or 90 year olds that have obviously lived in the natural lifestyle for all of their lives, and feel free to be themselves. Spray Tanning - I love that too!!!! A simple, quick and safe method of glistening a summer glow (if that's what you are into). Forget the solariums, they are being banned in Australia (finally!) due to the intensity of the damage that is more harmful than natural sun exposure. And for all that are interested, I actually provide spray tans as a sideline business. So if there are any Sydney siders that would like a spray tan, just send me a message Protect and Moisturise - Whether you are into tans or prefer the peaches and cream delicacy, it is essential to always protect your skin with sunblock . For thos who For ultimate preservation of the skin, moisturising is an absolue must, especially after sun exposure, sun burn or even with a spray tan. Replenish your thirsty skin just like you would quench a thirst by drinking water. Our bodies need to be looked after in every way possible.

One of the greatest sensations is having sex with a slightly sunburnt cock. Not the healthiest getting burnt but fellas if you do don't waste the opportunity. it's one he'll of a way to go

but you don't seem to be very openminded on many subjects. Pity.

After spending my teens and early 20s loving the sun and surf I now hide from it. Melanoma is a sad wake up call, especially when the doctor starts talking about life expectancy. Give me shade any day. Bronzed body and sun bleached hair was fun at the time but if I had to do it over again I wouldn't have taken my skin for granted. The good news!!! Stopped sunning my self in my 20s. Staying out of the sun has had one major advantage and that is it seems to have slowed the aging process. At 50 I still get told I look 40-45. Either that or I got lucky with good genes....lol Enjoy the sun but remember everything is good in moderation! Gentle tanning early morning or late, late afternoon is a safer option. Stay safe

hi, i dont really sunbake for the sake of getting a tan, my lifestyle keeps me conscious of skin cancers etc, however i do hate tan lines and find white patches on a woman off putting, dont care if she is white allover, just think the patchwork quilt looks a little silly.so for the record, i am usually naked at the beach, but do use sunscreen. might seem weird but for me naked at the beach is natural, but i dont want skin cancers either.laterw

I sunbake naked most of the time when i do sunbake, haven't for a couple of years now though. Most of it is done in the backyard as i live too far away from Swanbourne, the best part is feeling the warm sun on your body very exciting, also the nude swimming it's the best so free and natural feels great. I do feel a little self consuous when walking into and out of water but i'm sure no one is staring, not at me anyway lol. Anyway what i'm trying to say is it's great and keep it up it's a great feeling. Michael

Michael when you’re at a nude beach there’s no need to get self conscious as everyone is naked and most people don’t give a shit “lol” but everyone will look at people just out of curiosity to see what they look like which is natural, me I like to see a nice arse be it female or male..... You should try Geraldton tolerated nude beach we share it with dog walkers and people jogging and they are all dressed and we do have some disagreements with some of the people now and then as the beach does not have signage to say cloth free beach.... (you can blame Geraldton council for that) all in all most people don’t give a shit about people sunbaking and swimming nude, it’s the fucked up perverts I hate down there, they try and hide in the dunes and watch you on the beach, I got a pet hate for perverts I chased a few out of the dunes and some do not come back...... Nudity is good but like I say take sun block with you.......... Be safe and happy and have a fun time....

I am a fan of all-over tans. I figure if you are looking for colour, go all out! I find tan lines strange & not so attractive. I find 80's porn a good example - you see a lot of women with bikini tan lines & it is quite funny! It looks like if you had them naked in poor lighting their bits would almost glow in the dark! Either keep it pale, or do it all - people aren't ment to be multi- coloured. Most of my profile pics are done at the nude beach, the feeling of the wind over your naked body is pretty amazing! Once you have done it a while, it feels weird to do it is speedo's. Used to be a big fan of the backyard sneaky tans - but next door decided to extend to two stories. If they didn't have kids, I probably wouldn't care. But it is off limits now. Always use caution with how much sun you get & keep your skin moist after. Sorry to say it, but if you are already "very pink" chances are you are going to peel! Keep the "aftersun" cream coating you & you might be right.

I would love to start going to he beach and doing some nude sun baking. But I am worried about what do you do if you see something that excites you? I don't think I could help it..
