OMG! We received a message from a young man (and yep we don't have single men on our profile) that was written in txt speak and took me half an hour to work out. Basically it said "Hi what are you doing tonight"? and it was written at 10:02pm (we old farts need our beauty sleep and weren't online at the time). So looked at his profile and he was only looking for woman! LOL So needless to say he got a not so polite message back! Pusscat xxx (shaking her head)

I actually thought this was a SEX site not a social networking site. My bad. But I completely agree, we tend to get a lot of stupid messages. SO WTF is wrong with writting in ENGLISH, oops I forget, they stopped teaching that in school.

Ladies - by all means be picky, not all of us have a PhDin English literature... what is a tired tradie after a hard day's work gotta do to get laid :-)LOL - had a good laugh at some comments here ,thanks ladies. *some* might be accessing internet sites from their fancy shmancy phones, and I can see how you take shortcuts in text as a rule which then spills over into chat/email, however, that doesn't explain all of it. If I have to decipher what someone is saying to me then you really are too much trouble to bother with at the get go. Yes yes. Sure, I might miss out on an awesome time in the sack, but for me, its truly not worth the hours of chat before and after. The occasional 'u' in there I can tolerate, but not 'wot.' Drives me batty. Shame that some people seem to lose their manners when not face to face with a person. Not all men on this site are so rude and some of us actually enjoy a good conversation without the need to talk about sex. Interesting points in alot of the comments here though.
