But only with hindsight. At the time it feels like random thoughts.

I think there is a lot more out there than we know. I have a psychic friend she says my brain has big potential but my mind keeps my 3rd eye mostly closed. I don't know if I would want to see all that spiritual stuff,I believe it's possible. I seem to be able to pick up on things about people in around or as I look through a room is that a tad psychic or is it more observational or are both blended? Questions questions questions.- Posted from rhpmobile

Everyone has the Sixth Sense...alot of people just ignore it! Intuition and Psychic Ability is one and the same! I tune into mine by meditating and also doing free readings on psychic pages on Facebook..it helps to build my abilities by reading for people all over the world that I know nothing about! I also use my Intuition when massaging people....It tells me alot about the person and why they are in pain! I find my abilities a gift but had you asked me when I was a kid...I would have told you they were a curse! Always go with your "gut" as some like to call it and it will never fail you! It has even saved my life a couple of times! xFunlovingx

I have mild intuition. Completely different animals. But only by our own limitations. They are one and the same and worlds apart, limited by our own self skills. Did I stay on topic?

Rather than anything psychic.... I say.... its the subconscious speaking to us. Some refer to that as intuition, others... gut instinct.Either way.... it is our subconscious that NEVER rests, and is always alert.... sending us messages. Most of us are trained to consider that the thoughtful side of our brain is the one that is more important and we lose that ability to listen to the messages our subconscious is giving us. But our subconscious keep sending those messages all the time.... tune in to them, and you can see the world a little more openly.DG

Is responsible for these feelings and psychic phenomena. Centuries ago, probably less it was more common to tap into this area of brain and use it. Children in particular are very sensitive, but we adults are always telling them it's nonsense, so they usually lose their ability to 'see things' which others don't. In my own experience these feelings have helped save lives. NOT through any knowledge I may possess from my training, but sheer feelings, or awareness of "something happening" usually not in my immediate vicinity that I can see. Fortunately the people who know me at my place of work have listened to me and acted when I have spoken out. It's quite eerie at times, so now I take it more seriously.

is something that you can hone.It is really about being more concious and aware of what is happening around you.As DG said ,we are processing information in our subconcious all the time, like a human computer. I personally believe that we are all connected, all beings, all life forms,we just need to tap into that interconnectedness. Physic ability is not different but an advanced form of intuition in my opinion, sometimes it is a gift, sometimes it can be a burden.Like other skills it sometimes runs in families,I don't know whether or not it is a genetic predisposition or a learnt skill, perhaps it is a little of both.

Its all a load of rubbish and people who truely believe they have abilities in this regard are looney. Confirmation bias. If you believe something you will look for and notice evidence for it and ignore all contradicting evidence subconciously.- Posted from rhpmobile

I had forgotten just how much I knew when I was that age....and of course if you can't see it then it couldn't possibly exist. Show me a person who can either prove or disprove this possibility...So much of this world relies on faith. Do you really want to deny something that would actually enhance us?I have trusted my intuition many times, but I have no proof of anything pyschic - but based on your definitions I am happy to be a member of the looney club as I am happy to believe until it can be disproven :)

with DG and others on the subconscious, tuning in to it can be a revelation. However it also has a dark side and can be running learnt behaviour that drags us down and hinders us.This is where a bit of "personal growth" training can be invaluable, discernment is the key to making good decisions from all inputs, including the subconscious.

So, after a little research this morning i found this on the net...."For intuitive information, the saying "It is all in your mind" is pretty close. One issue is how to train your conscious mind and body to listen to your subconscious mind. The second issue is to align your conscious and subconscious minds towards the same goals so that what you hear is relevant and important to your life"Clear as mud hey@Paradisepair ..that would explain why those thoughts seem so random then, your conscious mind is trying to make sense of your subconscious thoughts@MissKay ..I think all mothers are psychic, i was always in trouble as a kid ..they 'just know'@jkwsmp91 ..i believe the subconscious mind is the non-judgmental part of the brain, so you might find that's it's the conscious mind that's contradicting the evidence. That's why hypnotherapy CAN be so effective, because the subconscious mind is WILLING to take on new ideas and is very suggestive when under hypnosis. Mr S

I was raised to be very open minded and I think I have seen and experienced some very unusual things in my life. I have never been to a physic because although I think there are people with gifts I fear there are many more who are charletans and I would not want to rely on information from them.I recently was in the country and along with 5 other people saw some unexplained lights in the nights skies which kept us amused for hours---- what were they?? I dont know but it was a interesting. I have dreamt things that have come true but never with enough clairty to change the outcome. I once worked with a man who for no apparent reason repulsed me......he was clever clean respectful??? but when he was near me I felt nothing but hatred and this confused and bewildered me I felt very upset with myself, then one day I found out aftrer he had left that he was a peadolfile and had molested his own children....made sense then.....How did I know no one else had an issue with him but me.I agree that its with age you experience more in your life and therefore can reflect and give insight and also question. I believe to definatley trust your intuition although we rarely do because we dont want to feel foolish.

I'm intuitive. It's one thing I put in my profile about me.If I had followed my intuition earlier on in my life, I wouldn't have married a convicted criminal...Even from a message, I get a feeling & if it's a "no", then I don't go there... usually Quoting 'Beneath_blueeyes' I was raised to be very open minded and I think I have seen and experienced some very unusual things in my life. When my husband didn't pick me up...I knew something was wrong...not just a little something...but a big something and I was right.Even when I was at work that day, I can recall half way through thinking, I could just be at home now...I'm not really needed here.Intuition...yes, I trust mine implacably...psychic....hmm not sure on that one. I'd love to meet a medium in a group sceanrio and see if I am picked.....I'd love that

The human mind is an interesting animal. The subconscious mind picks up details that when put together makes a person relax or ring alarm bells. This does not have to occur at a point in time but from something seen in passing but processed passively for some time. The conscious mind instead tries to rationalise everything. It will put together a string of events or facts to come up with an answer. However, it fails to pick up subtle clues or just dismisses them while the subconscious mind uses it to warn us. I am an expert at dismissing my subconscious mindSome people say it is karma. We might have met in a previous life and some of us would be friends, bitter enemies, strangers or just passing acquaintances. So, when we meet up again, that previous connection influences the interaction.

We are often told to trust your gut instinct.So... what is it... this gut instinct?!?!Its your subconscious........ ever awake and taking in every stimulus from the world around it.And it exists for the sole purpose of looking after the "meat" that surrounds the part of your brain where the subconscious exists. And by way of example...... anyone who has ever referenced body language, has tied their argument to the non verbal messages that the subconscious reads from other people.Learn to listen to that little voice deep within.... it is looking after your best interest. I just go with how people make me feel, love it when I feel totally turned on and really relaxed. I know when I feel uncomfortable and then I generally see any warning signs. I know when to get out when the going is good. I think that is why I have some great friends and lovers whether they are long term or short term ones. People come in and out of our lives for all different reasons. Lets hope its intuition.
