Good point MzRahRah. I have noticed this but would also have to say i would be guilty of doing this as well. I am thinking it has been almost a year since i updated my pic. How long is too long for a pic to be up before it is as you would call "out of date"? Could it be some people add new pics but leave old ones up to show them as a person and how they have changed over the years? Interesting topic though as to find out how old is too old for a pic etc. As for written information about oneself then i do agree that at least a yearly update is in order to maintain and keeps ones personal growth and wants and needs at the forefront of their search in life.

i think ppl should change it every 6mth-12mts maybe....mine itself is only 4 mths old but i have pics of what i use to look like as i change etc.....i brought this up as there is a particular person i see come into chat and they have had the same pic on their profile for over 6yrs

Its detachable and someone stole it at party and I think it was Meeka, I can't bloody remember, it may have done a trip around Tasmania. Geez I miss it......I hope it comes back soon.

We do have up some older pics...but mainly because we are happy with them...but that being said in our public gallery we ALWAYS have some pics taken within the last few months. But then..our look & style hasn't changed in years LOL... with us we can honestly say...what you see is what you get! That's how it should be! If people want to put up pics a few years old..that's fine so long as they still look the same....but if you are drastically different in real life compared to the pics you display...well that's being dishonest!!

If you dont look like your profile pics then its not an accurate pic of you ....is it? Too many guys I have found put pics up of themselves from 5 yrs ago.....well hello....??? We all change so guys make it recent pics...even if that means you have to keep taking new ones every few months. You expect us girls to look like our profile pics so why can't we expect the same ??? .....

Maybe off the track a touch but i was pulled over for a random breath test by the police many years ago .When asked, i handed the officer my license without looking at it only to be greeted by strange looks.Turns out one of my workmates had taken to my wallet at some point and i was now sporting a pirates eye patch and beard.The police officer showed his offsider,they both had a laugh and sent me on my way.
