playing at nudist beaches

January 05 2015

Soooo, was at a nudist beach today and got rather carried away with a couple. sort of. they were clearly showing off, which got me somewhat 'excited' which in turn led to a solo act. whilst there were others at the beach, no-one apart from the couple saw what happened. but if someone had have seen me, I'm wondering what the ramification could have been? is there nudist beach etiquette for this type of thing?

obviously some people do play or put on shows at the beach - some more discrete than others - the 'nude in public' is a turn on for some some, for others it is just 'going to the beach'. I'd advise caution in future though, it is considered poor form to do that on the beach in Australia (and most countries) as it is illegal, if caught you could be charged with a criminal offence. The general idea is that nude beaches should be family friendly just like a regular beach - you just don't have to wear any clothes.

I agree with S_ontheloose. All the action is happening in the bushes behind the beach, I though everyone knew that?

If it's an official, legally designated nudist beach then keep the sexual activities off the beach as it is frowned upon, and with some nudists seeing it as a family activity you never know when kids might be on the beach (yes, this does happen). With some beaches, nudists have had to fight to get these legally recognised areas where they can enjoy their naked activity, and in some cases still have to keep fighting to keep them, so the open display of sexual activity can put these places in jeopardy. If you feel the overwhelming need to get sexual then at least be discreet about it and take it somewhere out of view, the sand dunes and bush around the beaches being the typical spot. As for unofficial nude beaches, well it might be a bit more open to it but discretion is still highly advised. There's already the issue of people using the beach nude where it's not legal so throwing open sexual activity into the mix can stir this up even more quickly.

If you wouldn't do it in a public place in front of families and kids it has no place on a nudist beach. JMO. This topic has been covered many times on the forums - a quick search will reveal the many opinions. - Posted from rhpmobile

How do you know no one saw you? Some kid with a new pair of binoculars/telescope for eg. . Etiquette to me insists it's a public venue, and thus not private behaviour, friendly.

It's a pity that some think that nude beaches are places where one can engage in lewd sexual acts. Ask any nudist/ naturist and they will tell you that being nude, on a beach, is not for sex / sexual arousal. A pity that the lone male "meerkats / seagulls" , lurking in the bushes and dunes , don't see it this way. Sexual acts, of any nature in public and on an official nude beach are illegal and punishable by a fine and or jail time. And for good reason as families with children also go to nude beaches. Many nude beaches have been closed as official nude beaches thanks to those who break the rules. We don't go to perve and slobber / wank over others. If we go it's to be able to enjoy the feeling of freedom at being able to sunbathe and swim in the nude. - Posted from rhpmobile
