We have been to parties where there are a greater ratio than was indicated by the host again it just lead to what appeared to us to be couples feeling uncomfortable and leaving. I have also been to CI in brisvegas and in comparison to Sydney swingers clubs the action seemed less open and more strained not as free flowing again the numbers appeared to me to be larger than indicated. BUT here is the thing single boys often pay more than a couple combined and they are easier to get to turn up. In the end its a numbers game and host have to make money out of these things or they dont happen. However is it short turn gain for long term loss ? Brae ..............

I didn't quite understand the 5/7 ratio thing... is that 5 women and 7 men? I mean, that's better than average odds from my perspective, even when I'm feeling completely heterosexual.... I mean, some women like two men anyway! (or so I've heard. :p)If I'm sitting around feeling like a third wheel I don't think I can really blame the host for that, unless the other guests do not match the party criteria at all.....HugsStalky

We know exactly what you are talking about, the money making requirement we would imagine only valid for commercial ventures. We dont go to a commercial venture to get laid, voyages only. We attented a private couples party organised by a single guy and found much the same: We arrived around 7-30pm and noticed guests were still arriving around 11-45pm when we had finished???? The mix was as you said a mix 5 females to 7 guys, then apply the wives that dont want to swap partners / other males, they are there for the girl / girl play that mix then effectively drops further. The only way around this is to "Only play as a couple with other couples" which is what we do now, then you will hear the girls complaining taking one for the team, or the guys putting pressure on for just the wife to play with them. But they are our rules. Too easy "we are going home now"! Or give all that hassell and dissapointment a miss, and play privately couple to couple and maybe invite some friends would be ideal. Is where we keep going back to.

With respects to the original poster here (this is no attack on your post) but this is just another example of a hoary old chestnut that does raise it's head from time to time and really does come down to the type of party involved and what it is you as the couple seek at this party.It looks (sounds) as though you wanted an even numbers or couples only party at which all numbers were even, and there is nothing wrong with that approach if indeed that is what you seek. If the party was 'advertised' that way then it should have been that way, but at the same time here as Stalky says a 5/7 ratio isn't to bad. However the over-riding factor here is that if you or your partner felt uncomfortable then by leaving you did the right thing..What we do find interesting is that you felt 'left out' by the number bias (your words). Does this mean that it was purley a 1 on 1 play party or were threesomes etc allowed (asking genuinely as well)?For us, we go to parties from couples parties through to sex parties with greater ratios of males to females (but a controlled ratio) and we find that the sex parties provide us with a better experience than do the couples parties (generally speaking). For us we are comfortable in and enjoy higher ratios of males to females at parties as that means that Sheba will be a busy girl indeed. It does not mean that Gaz misses out as he may watch, join in with Sheba or go with another lady for some fun, as that is what we seek.We have found that at the couples parties we attend often we did not play at all because the atmosphere was not right or perhaps we (as a couple) were not attractive to another couple and thus nothing happened. It was not unusual that one of us may have been flirted with by a couple which for us is fine, we do play separate but we would find that the couple doing the flirting wanted a couple to play with, so we missed out.Our philosophy is based around having fun and knowing what we like, and sadly for us at couples only parties or clubs we simply have not found it, thus we now go to more open sex parties where generally we get to play, and play, and play.This does not mean you did anything wrong as you have your desires, likes and dislikes and in this case you did not feel comfortable, so you left and we say good for you.Hope next time is better.Shell and Gaz

CI only ever has 6 single guys , so i cannot see how the numbers of single guy ratio is what looking2try says....We never have less than 20 - 30 couples at CI so not sure where the figures that you quote come from.6 single guys that have been selected via photos and a long process to 60 male and female patrons....After all the years on the scene we are aware that some parties do have ample single guys and they use this to up the money, we however turn away hundreds of single guys each week, to make sure the numbers stay at around about 6, you see our busiest nights are our Friday nights as our couples love our single guys...they are just as nervous as any new couple and they are awesome.They dont walk around the venue stalking our patrons, in fact one night a couple said they were getting hassled and were feeling stalked by one of our single guys,....we laughed as the guy they pointed out was in fact a male of a couple, we spoke to him and asked to be please be with your partner more as people think you are single...you see people can never tell who our single guys are...we are proud of that!.No we dont make money off our single guys...in fact our single guys pay exactly the same as a non member couple...and then if they get accepted as a single guy member they pay exactly the same amount as a couple member..so it seems people should do research a little better before making comments on forums about things they know nothing about.!I feel for single guys. they get the bad end of the stick. they are great guys, nervous and feeling very overwhelmed when they enter a venue where everyone is in a couple or single ladies.We are very proud to say that we have been the starting point for many marraiges and relationships between our single guys and single ladies...and in fact have had 3 babies from these relationships.So stop worrying about single guys, your night is what you make it, if you dont like going places where single guys are...then dont go out, they are everywhere...lol trains, shops, pubs, cinemas...hehe.Have a great day and find a club that suits you, and remember not everyone is here for sex, all clubs offer a venue for all types of swinging and fun, everyone that goes doesnt have to have SEX for your benefit to watch, they can just have a drink and go home.As for play, if there wasnt much play at CI i better sack my cleaner...lolLeesa xx

I think anyone should hire a venue, pay all the bills and then say that people make money out of the swinging lifestyle.You have to be kidding..Cover charge...only and all the giveaways.condoms, lube, soft drinks, mixers, tea coffee, ice, sheets, towels..and the rest not to mention wages.......do your sums people.BYO alcohol....and nothing more to pay..omg you gotta be kidding....$10000 a month rent....you have got to be kidding that club owners make money off this lifestyle...We all do it for YOU and not for US...we are lucky we have good jobs through the week, to be able to offer you a venue to explore your sexuality you should thank all the club owners out there for giving you somewhere to go and have some fun and if you don't like single guys, don't go out.Food for thought!

on the couples and single girls ONLY nights/parties. what's in it for me? LOL, (kinda kidding)I've only been to the one party and CI but anyone who's met me knows i am nosy as hell and ask a lot of questions and this is something that truly fascinates me so i've asked a lot of people about it... all the single guys i've talked to who go to parties and/or are CI members are very aware of how they're expected to behave and also show a willingness to educate and guide other single men on what's ok behaviour, they're all very VERY keen to ensure that no dumbass dude is going to fuck it up for the rest of them. Forgive me if this is too far outside the original topic but it's a genuine question - not stirring the pot, just asking to learn - when it comes to "couples and single ladies only" nights, why is it so important to have more women than men rather than equal numbers?x Sarah

We also host parties and accept single guys BUT we limit them severely. We dont invite a single guy until we have at least 6 couples attending, then 12 couples for 2 singles etc but it doesnt stop heaps of single guys expressing an interest in coming along which can LOOK as though there will be heaps of them on the night. The only time the above mix might be altered is when we have invited a couple of single guys and then some of the couples who were going to attend just dont turn up,but there isnt a lot we can do about that. bothtogether6

god dam i wish there was a like button sometimes....yes curiousnewgirl, i totally agree and i feel for the single ladies too for sure.It always amazes me when couples ask about single ladies, i usually tell them they mostly come on Friday nights cause our wonderful single guys are there, most single ladies are not looking for couples , but single guys...so i agree totally.

At a couples and single girls party by definination there has to be more girls. To then invite single guys as well, Why call it a couples party? A sex party would be a more appropiate describtion. Am sure everyone agrees, a accurate describtion of what mix is going to present is what everyone is looking for. Rather than arrive and its not what you expected. We have to experiance the good and not so good to know what questions to ask the hosts.

it was a private house party and the host had given assurances that there would be an even balance, gave us the names of the couples attending but said nothing of the single guys. he even had a single lady to balance him being there. At a private house party where there are 5 ladies and 7 guys there are definitely a couple of third wheels foating around. Money wasn't the problem, to us it's just so a couple of horny guys get laid when they haven't got their own partner at our expense. At clubs you expect it and it's not normally a problem as couples play with couples, but at a house party couples can't play with couples because the single guys are omnipresent, taking the ladies leaving a male partner playing with himself in the cupboard..

i have a better night out going to ci then going to a nightclub and that is mostly due to leesa brian and john making it a comfortable place i have bee quite a few times and havent played there i like it as you can talk to people have a good night and dont have to put up with the young blokes puffing their chest out thinking they are top shit thinking they own the place, sure most people go to get laid and one visit im sure i will but as a single male i dont go expecting sex but i do expect a good night and i always do have a good night with good company (except the first night as i was so bloody nervous haha)

LMAO ! You are obviously from all your posts (and I have read most of them , I often like the stuff you say about poly relationships) a VERY proud club owner and so you would be ! I own a few business's myself and if someone says something about them I get a bit testie (Pun) about that as well so I kinda get you getting all tied up ! The funniest part was when they followed us up the stairs , ( as you know its kinda narrow ) then we got to the top and went to turn around and there were 4 of them following us ........ again a milliion apologies from them and they came up sat on the lounge and we went down stairs again. Sadly though I do think you need to sack the cleaner cause I think she let her little brother and a couple of his mates in for the night when you were not looking , you were NOT there I asked, I wanted to meet you see above , I am sorry as sadly obsessive as I am I counted and lets stop there, but there were more than 6 single boys oooooooor which is of course a possibility there was a stack of young ladies in the loo powdering thier noses for sevearal hours ! On the night there were just more than ten couples. Completely agree we are NOT looking for single boys ! So its not the venue for us. If you are looking for single boys then this is a good place to go ! The night is always what you make of it , I watch some people sit in corners and do zero mingling then complain they didnt get any ......... ! WTF ????? I have also been to nights and watched some truly amazing looking single gals sit on the seats alone as all the couple are too ferakin afraid to talk with them !!! As I said I own business's SO I am often amazed at swingers clubs ...... how they survive astounds me ......... the number dont add up at all to me I agree it must be hard to make money. The point was though after all this ......... it is my feeling that the clubs are better without single boys ...... they were more relaxed more open and more play occured. For the times we have been at C Club, there were NO single guys and it was great. it just seems a lot more uninhibited and the play there certainly was uninhibited compared to Qld clubs. Whearas at Utopia (ex), CC and any other club we have been to the single guys are a right royal pain in the anterior regions.

I've tried all sorts of parties and yes I usually have a male partner with me and the ones I find more fun are the ones with extra guys. So what if there are extra guys, can't a female play with 2 guys at once. From what i have seen most guys once they have cum then that is that, but females can keep going. Hate to say it, but i hate couple only parties or ones with excess females. Everyone seems so uptight at these events. i guess i just prefer a huge orgy with loads of people everywhere.Don't bag the single guys at these events, they pay heaps extra and only want to have a little fun. X

We have been to CI i'd say 5 or 6 times just become members so def gonna ramp that number up! We have been mostly on Friday nights and to be honest we had to ask "Who" were the single guys so we could chat to them. Havn't been to any other parties/clubs so cannot comment on the other issues. But Single guys at CI are awesome , not pushy at all... so yip that is all from here.

We don't mind the single guys...if Mrs causewelikeit fancies a single guy at a party, I usually get involved too, if I'm not busy elsewhere lol...all good! We find that the single guys at the parties we attend are always respectful and only play with a couple or the lady of the couple when invited and most times if its just Mrs causewelikeit, the fella has to be reassured that all is ok before proceeding, so all good there too!We played with a couple the other night and then a single guy afterwards as a threesome...I didn't miss out at all!Relax and have fun...causewelikeit xx

There's so many different types of players so it's hard to have a commercial venture be able to offer them all the perfect night every friday and saturday night!We've tried a few clubs and larger private gatherings and it just isn't our thing, specifically Mrs Pup is a soft, little thing who finds it hard to control the guys lining up and pushing each other out of the way to have a go (I kid you not, this actually happened at a "couples only" private party!!!!!) For us smaller things with one or two couples or single girls is what we feel comfy with. Oh sure we love the idea of the orgy sex scenario but in reality it just doesn't do it for us.

the only thing i can say is.those that are afraid of single guys must be scared their wives are gonna run off with them, cause we have never had a problem with them and never will.And NO i have never had more than 6 single guys at any of our parties unless they are gangbangs, i know this as it is my job to select them so looking, you must have been on a gangbang night.and NO my cleaner would never allow anyone in the club unless authorized by me, so that is simply not true.I am here every night and know exactly who is on venue and what goes on in my club.Single guys should not get a bad rap they are awesome here, and i take offence at anyone that says different, i have never had to evict a single guy but on the other hand i have had to evict couples..so i think that tells the tale.Stop being so paranoid about single guys, they are awesome if they are selected right and informed on protocol, they are just as nervous as any single ladies or couples and they deserve respect too.Enough said.CI rocks and so do our single guys...you are all appreciated and welcomed at our club anytime guys..and we cheerish the atmosphere you add to the club and the wonderful and respectful way in which you hold yourselves.Bryan, Leesa and John

Made me think! i am gonna hold a party for singles..just single guys and single girls..i am sure it will be a great one as that is what the single guys want....feed back guys...what you think you in..and no it wont cost you an arm and a leg it will be at a min cost to cover charges on the night as we are not about making money but about giving those in the lifestyle what they wish to have..FUNAnd yes wives and husbands you can come alone if your partner says it is fine of course.i will post it up very soon.See you all at CI.

Recently went to CI for the first time and have never been to any other club like this so not to sure how it works in other places but I dont think I got in the way, Lessa made sure of the rules with me before I went in and if the couples were interested in singles guys they would make it clear they did. Look forward to the next time I go, the people there a relaxed and just there to have fun.

That is exacly what happened to me, I attempted at one statge to join in and the absolutely filty look I got from the woman was incredible. At the end of the day, we attend parties so we can all have a great time, if one misses out due to an inbalance of numbers well we just avoid that situation in the future. In honesty, it was she who was the more upset. I just went along with it, you win some you lose some but as I said, won't be trusting that host again. And Leesa, you comment re being scared of the wife running off is simply crass and indifferent. It thought you had better understanding of the situations.

I have been going to CI's for over 4 years now...and have been to other clubs as well as private parties...and yes too - i used to work for CI's....BUT (there's always a "but with me" )...I prefer to go to CI's because as I said to my mum (yes she knew about my lifestyle) I am the safest and feel competely secure at CI's. EVERYONE there is RESPECTFUL..No means No. I NEVER have anyone trying to cop a feel of my boobs or my pussy, if I say Im not interested then thats what it means-it does not mean "I really mean yes, I want you to change my mind" - just to get that point out of the way.As I tell any one who asks...being a female is way more popular than being male...ff, ffm, fm, fmf, mfm fffm fmfm etc mmmmmmmm...I do believe its more fun when the majority is in favour of females...sadly the world just doesnt have enough bi-guys I have never been at CI's when the single guys numbers are larger than indicated...never. Maybe lookingtotry3 you went there before Leesa & Bryan owned it...oh...and I noticed you said "in comparison to Sydney swingers clubs"...and yet the only club you named was CI's...Finally to tyandeb...I completely understand how you both feel.
