I am with you...I get silly with my son. Then he tells me...Mum..Stop being silly..I am serious here!..:) I think is it too cute when he says... O ..M..G.. It's a funny thing. We have a 3 year old that just loves the sound of his own voice. We can't get him to stop talking. Then they become teenagers and we want them to talk to us!!

I believe the English language has reached a point of regression. Everything is reverting to its simplest forms.How are you? whats been happening? this has been reduced to a simple grunt. I have to admit, my pet hate is the word "Whatever". It has also been voted in the Oxford Dictionary as the most aggrevating word in the english language. So why do teenages constantly use it? It is in deliberate efford to say, I'm wrong but f**k off I don't care. Teachers & parents, as I have done, should ban the word. Whenever anyone in my company use it, theres money into the swear box and and and washing & drying the dishes. hehe xoxo to ya all

What evaaaa, what evvv, what the flip, like, like, like, goon, goin' to the supo, (supermarket), skanks very much, fair a nuff, (or furry muff!). Azif, dunno, whats cracken, thats sweet as, thats mint, thats gold,sup, later, and the latest is a simple 'catch' (instead of catch ya round) or similar!!!! ahhhh it does my head in!!! But the one I hate the most at the moment is.... Mmmmmmmmake Me!!!!!! When arguing with one of mine I find that if in mid sentence of them arguing their point I repeat three simple words quite calmly... It does their head in... I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU... .... It drives her crazy hehehehehehehehe!! oh roxy...the stomping off...lol....i had a hissy fit once when my youngest was acting up...boy did i get some strange looks...i felt silly..but hey it got her attention..then said to her did ya like that, mummy having a tanty...must have got through...for the next time she tried it on..i warned herid do it again...then she went quiet...hahahaSweet...it's wonderful to have a great bond with our kid/s..when we finished being silly..we have a great laugh about it all..hahaha.Here's another get puked..from summerhights high.....lolTalk to hand the ear aint listening...or to the elbow thats the extention...your so gayChiverlyone.whaaaat eeeever....lmao....now what will be my punishment...hehehexoxoxmumma

G'day fellow RHPer's They will run this country one day. Imagine the prime - ministerial speech on an election day win. Oh but do not bother watching the broadcast on tele, because they (he or she) will not be able to look at the camera. ? schooling and the cane .. Thoughts .. I had my fair share of taps with the wooden stick or dodged the odd flying duster for pronouncing words the wrong way, holding pens the wrong way or expelling gas loudly on plastic chairs etc and I turned out all right. A sexual deviate. LOL. But I do have values and most of all respect for myself and my elders. Keep it simple so they understand... Oh and the floggings help because you learn that punishment far out ways the crime. Just like we all had to. Cheers and happy fishin HesheWA

i have 2 teenage boys,who use the words sup and sick,a fare bit,i think its cute,but the word dunno is pretty annoying,trying to get a descent conversation out of them,is like pulling teeth. I like the commercial,where the teenage boy is sitting in the kitchen and his mum is trying to have a conversation with him and all he does is grunt,and theres subtitles on the bottom,so u know what hes saying......reminds me of my 16 yr old......such a crap up!

hi all, i have nine kids..all teenagers and above.. i have some tricks i use.. first of all...get them in your car..cant escape and can get across what you want/need. next..when they get taller than you..sit them down to talk..you stand.. join their face books..but never comment,they will forget your there but keep you posted on their antics. become friends with their friends .let them know they are cared for by you and welcome in your home. simply ask nicely like you would a friend "please dont speak like that when your with me or in my house" love them no matter what words they use..i used to start all sentences with "yeah but"..lol and when all else fails....buy duct tape.

Mine almost said a sentance. They do grow up though. My little girl is all grown up now. Soon to be 21. She Now is the best daughter a man can have. We talk in sentences now. Well almost. Some times she ends annecdotes with lol. Think she spends too much time on msn. (oops nearly didntknow how to spell msn. ) I have even gone clubbing with her. ( we have to show people our ID cos they don't believe I'm her dad. ). So they do get better. Fab

I hate kids. One of mine left the freezer door open last night... obviously, by the iceblock wrapper and paddlepop stick left on the kitchen bench.. helped itself to dessert and slammed the freezer door. I have one of those large upright freezers... stocked full to the brim with frozen food. Hundreds of dollars worth of now defrosted meat for baked dinners, fish, chinese dumplings, lasagne, vegetables, soups and what not... all ready for the garbage bin this morning. I'm going to switch the bloody thing off and fill the fridge with fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. No processed or packaged foods at all in Stalky's pantry. That'll learn her. Little Shit. Stalky

One needed a filling, the twins got growled at for not cleaning their teeth well and all 3, potentially needed braces...two definitely...As I shall have no money left for food and they have not been doing their best to maintain their teeth, I shall follow Stalky's instructions.I am going to fill the fridge and freezer with healthy goodies. My daughter had braces for a while. She has a very beautiful smile and it was worth all the anxt, I think. Some things are wroth paying for. The crown and bridge work in the back of my mouth however was a total waste of money... little bits of porcelain keep breaking off... they musn't be fitted properly... but Im not going to bother chasing them up. So... dont start me on the rip off associated with the legal system. Hugs Stalky
