  V E R Y  C A R E F U L L Y!!!  The fact that you have to ask the question in a post indicates that you know what your partner's response will be but you want to figure out how to convince them it's ok.  It takes a very special person and a very special relationship for a desire such as that to be accepted by the other party.  Keep in mind, if you ask and she (or he) agrees then they may want to do the same.  Are you ok with that as well?   Sweet

  I would never have been able to put it quite as eloquently but sweet_desires has a very good point - you would never have asked if you didn't think the response you received from your partner would not be your preferred response.   If you're really keen on an open relationship maybe you should first broach the subject of sex with others...together, if you know what I mean :-S
