have you ever been involved with a work mate?

Forgive me if this has been done before... what are the tell tale signs? My tale is a woman I was living with and being a mere male I thought on most levels things were going well. We had alot of shares interests, great sex, phew! Went out frequently and did whatever we wanted to do. I often came home with flowers, left her notes when I left for work early. Shared the cooking, shopping and house chores. I noticed she became distant. Started to talk about a certain person at work. His name seem to drop into the conversation a bit. I tend to think it was conditioning me in some weird kind of way. To my amazement (NOT) she left me for him! So how many if you have become involved with a work mate, whether it was an affair or genuine love? cheers

im an odd kind of loyal and an even odder kind of faithful so when im with someone then my head and heart dont go anywhere but to the man that has them no matter how bad or good things are...my head just wont go there, i just dont look at other men in any other way than friend or coworker but i do know a lot of people that have...my ex would be one of them lol but just think, its no concilation i know, but she obviouly wasnt the girl for you and there is someone out there that will be for you in every single way roxxy

about 8 yrs ago I had a six month affair with a work colleague - 2 people from work figured out (trust me this wasnt a small work environment) and the rest had no clue - for me the tell tale signs were all there - seriosuly bruised calves (he liked to bite) the fact he gave me a lift home every evening, the fact that we went drinking every wednesday night and saturday night and I wouldnt get home til 4am the next day....hmmm pretty obvious right - yes!! mind you my relationship with my then partner was a little different to your own, this gentleman ended it as he wanted more than I was willing to offer - another one with children and someone looking for a long term partner (at the time I was happy emotionally with the person I was with). I have also had random encounters/brief flings at other work places with colleagues....some signs I noticed with myself are: . * their name being dropped * meetings and the like where they are always there - and are going to pick up/drop off * text messages flying back and forth * excuses being made to stay at work longer/ start work earlier . For me in all the above mentioned cases it was just a fling/brief affair/ nothing serious ever came out of them but damn it made going to work a hell of a lot more interesting . Kisses Focus

Back in the day I did this a couple of times.Nothing more than a fast and furious, or opportunistic/occasional thing.eg - sitting in the lunchroom one day, a colleague sparked up a convo about her engagement and small talk ensured.By the time she finally spat out her 'one last fling before the ring' type epithet I could see where this was going. Knowing we were not going to be disturbed this ended in carnage in the storeroom.No word of it was ever spoken between us again.Occasionally it was a manager etc when I worked in the nightclub/adult entertainment scene.Misspent youth.
