Example~~Shit~~ was not derived from cargoes of manure exploding in the middle of the Atlantic. (Ship High in Transit) Every good story starts with.......Once upon a time. Once upon a time, the King was so concerned about the shrinking number of his subjects,as the population was decimated by the plague that he ordered his people to reproduce. His proclamation, "Fornicate Under Command of the King"--"F.U.C.K" for short has been claimed as the source foe such a versatile word. It is not an acronym for either Fornication Under Consent of the King or For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge or for anything else. Acronyms such as these are unknown before the late-19th century and not at all common until the 20th. Fuck isn't an Anglo-Saxon word either and from what i have gathered, the f-word is roughly of Germanic origin, related to Dutch, German, and Swedish words for "to strike" and "to move back and forth. In the 16th century(1528), in a Latin manuscript written by Cicero,he felt compelled to express his anger at his abbot. "O d fuckin Abbot," he scrawled in the margin of the text. Is claimed to be the first documented use of the word.

While there is a belief that the F-word was originally an acronym for "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge", or "Fornication Under Consent of the King", or "Fornication Under Command of the King", it is actually of Germanic origin from around the 15th century. Dutch "fokken" - to breed or begetNorweigian "fukka" - to copulateSwedish "focka" - to copulate or strike, and "fock" - penis Please make sure you retain these notes as there will be a written test at the end of the semester. CheersJAB

The easiest way to bring out the 'fuck ' word is when you smash your thumb with a fucking hammer, or close your finger in a door.. Fuck then becomes mandatory and automatic... In the presence of a lady it becomes bugga. I always remember my manners...

Such a versatile word... The song lyrics from Adam Sandler's, "Uses of the Word Fuck" are fucking funny!.Perhaps one of the most interesting words in the English language today is the word ‘Fuck’. Out of all the English words that begin with the letter F, ‘Fuck’ is the only word referred to as ‘The F word.’ It’s the one magical word that just by its sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. ‘Fuck,’ as most words in the English language, is derived from German. The word ‘Flicken’ which means ‘To strike’. In English, ‘Fuck’ falls into many grammatical categories. As a transitive verb for instance, “John fucked Shirley,” as an intransitive verb, “Shirley fucks.” It’s meaning is not always sexual. It can be used as an adjective such as, “John’s doing all the fucking work.” As part of an adverb, “Shirley talks too fucking much.” As an adverb enhancing an adjective, “Shirley is fucking beautiful.” As the object of an adverb, “Shirley is fucking beautifully.” As a noun, “I don’t give a fuck.” As part of a word, “Abso-fucking-lutly” or “In-fucking-credible.” And as almost every work in a sentence, “Fuck the fucking fuckers.” As you may realise, there are very few words with the versatility of ‘Fuck.’ As in these examples describing situations such as, Fraud: “I got fucked at the used car lot.” Dismay: “Aww, fuck it,” trouble: “I guess I’m really fucked now.” Aggression: “Don’t fuck with me buddy.” Difficulty: “I don’t understand this fucking question.” Inquiry: “Who the fuck was that.” Dissatisfaction: “I don’t like what the fuck is going on here.” Incompetence: “He’s a fuck off.” Dismissal: “Why don’t you go outside and play hide and go fuck yourself.?” I’m sure you can think of many more examples. With all of these multipurpose applications, how can anyone be offended when you use this word? We say use this unique, flexible word more often in your daily speech. It will identify the quality of your character immediately, so say it loudly and proudly, FUCK YOU!

great responses the interesting thing about obscenities in many languages is that we use forbidden sex words to express anger and insults. in less sexually repressed cultures sex words are used for sex. A native american might call one a failed horse breaker but not use words derived for pleasure as profanity. To get to the origins of the word cunt this is where it really gets interesting from my point of view there is the same scholars who claim it is derived from german origins. But it is clearly a feature of hindu mythology there is a Goddess named Kunti, and ancient indian tantric sages have been worshipping pussy much longer and far more elaborately then any other culture. Kali goddess of creation is sometimes reffered to as cunti and yoni sanskrit word not directly for vagina but is as important to goddess worshippers as the cross to christians or phallus symbols to God Dominated religions. The mouth and vagina have many connections they come from the same root word as mother, yawn comes from yoni, The yoni has lips -labia that in mythology men have feared when bared these lips may have reveal teeth so to curse someone by calling them a cunt is just a new way to play into the fear of castration and being swallowed by the female which is behind a whole heap of dark mythologies some still practiced today it is the reason behind female circumcisions and the fact it still shocks people goes to show the psychofrenic nature of our society that we fear and curse the source of the universe that everyone comes from. I will get of my Tantra soap box now but i kind of secure in my knowledge now when someone calls me a cunt that at least i know what it means in sanskrit lol
