Just try sending that person a nice note with something other than "hey babe do ya wanna" in it and see what happens....it sometimes works and other times it doesn't. | I tried responding to one with "Your lips are enticing...and I am sure would be sensual to the touch of mine as we dance in the shadows of the moonlight". | I got a note back that said to fuck off...but by now I am getting used to rejection. | Seriously though, Meeka...I meant it. | | Hey babe...ya know ya wanna!

I always thought that it was people testing the water, to see if you were interested in their profile. If you are then you send a message back otherwise send them a noooooooo. I love that flirt.

I only ever use the Thanks/Flattery flirt reply unless I know the person and then I might send something cheekier back. I don't bother responding to the silly ones or the automatic ones that come through because someone rated my pic. I would like a simple one that says "Thank you for sending a flirt"

As for the OP's question, it' definitely means interested for one person, not interested for another. It's a little unclear, but I think thats due to the people who reply with it when they're NOT interested. Theres a couple of flirts stating not interested...why not use them instead? I guess some may think it's being nice in return...but being a little misleading isn't exactly nice. I do agree with MistressT - would be great to have a simple "Thankyou for the flirt" option...

This way, I can dance to my own beat, instead of being out of sync with the one that everyone can hear. My favourites are apparently known to a few people by "There can't be a beat like that ever created...could there...?" and "WTF is going on inside his head???"Laugh if you will, but I'd like to think of myself as a pioneer. Just think of how these moves will take off...especially with the drunk communities...

Flattery will get you everywhere to me, means exactly that. I would never send that kind of response back to a man if I didnt want to go 'everywhere". It means if he keeps flirting with me, he will get whatever he wants. How in the world can you define this as thanks but no thanks? Nothing could be further from the truth. It means yes, bring it on baby, I'm ready & willing to meet you and have fun. Your nice way of saying YES to everything you want. Hmmmm..... how hard is that to understand?

As a complete newbie, I'm a bit confused by the flirts. First, are they endless? Does that mean guys fling them around like candy and therefore they have no real meaning?Also, I sent my first (and only) flirt yesterday: I read her profile, really liked where she was coming from and then saw there was an option to communicate that with the "i just wanted to say that I loved your profile" flirt. But what was her interpretation? I have no idea! Is it interpreted as a 'flirt', or as someone simply saying 'i love your profile'?I would like a guide for flirt etiquette...is there such a thing?
