  At a basic level submission has nothing to do with whips, chains, pain, pleasure or anything sexual. It is about release and control. The submissive returns to a childlike state in which responsibility for their actions is relinquished to another. The dominant in control is then responsible for the submissive who longer has to think for himself. If the submissive happens to be a masochist then the dominant may deem it appropriate to apply restraint and use various tools such as canes, whips and paddles. If the submissive is deriving enjoyment from this treatment then so too will the dominant. The exception is if the dominant is a sadist, in which case the dominant merely enjoys inflicting pain.Abuse is when there is no consent.

  There is nothing like being in control and being able to tease and prolong the pleasure. I love having the power to choose when and how much pleasure to give.
