Thanks for that - we have been to Couples Intl & Mikes Place. Good swinging clubs but we have heard of couples going out to dinner, a drink ir club to dance, just something more casual and getting picked up in a straight place - a little more exciting when its not actually the planned thing. Its probably more the luck of the moment.

Yeah, know what you are saying, it is the excitment of the draw. Althought, you must remember that a lot of couples do actually just come along to clubs for a drink and a game of pool and have no expectations of playing at all. A lot of people just use our venue as nightclub or dance.

Thanks Cpl Int - still looking. We’re used to the swingers clubs, hold our own parties, like the action, but just thought that something different would be great - exciting without being obvious. When we go along to a club we do go with expectations to swing, or when we party. But going to a public place, having dinner, drinks - whatever and getting together with another couple with it obviously turning into something much more than a friendly chat - now there’s the real excitement. Totally different for a change. I’ve heard of a club in Adelaide, swinging couples go to pick up other swinging couples, its a night club but not a swinging club - nothing on premises. Just a little out of the norm.

bmcouple - will do, but it’s not looking too good yet is it? I’ve heard of couples going out to dinner and picking up other couples but can’t find out where it’s likely to happen, maybe just the luck of the draw or just keeping alert to the vibes going on.

We made our own fun a couple of years back, a group of 20 or so headed out on the island party boat got trashed and partied hard .... 20 swingers and 200ish straight ppl......... made for an interesting night, then we finished the night off at a local swingers club. Damn sure a few of the boys on board were headed off for a lapdance to too that night!!

Here you go. For a way to check out who is into the scene or not. We have 337 couple members on our database. All of these people have Couples International Key tags. ( black tag with 2 ladies and a male on the front of it., in black and gold ) Usually people put thier keys where they can be seen. If you see anyone out and about with a CI keytag, you know that they are into a good time. Food for thought....Get those key tags out there to be seen everyone......

Thanks for that, now that is useful information. We’ll be sure to look out for CI key tags. Of course we know if we go to a swingers club (and we do regularly) plus hold our own parties we’ll be meeting with swingers, but the idea of going out and just bumping into couples who may or may not be..... just a little bit different.

We are pretty much ’out there’ in the scene, but we don’t wave our CI keytag around. In fact it sits in the top draw in the study 99.5% of the time LOL To our knowledge, there are no ’NON SWINGERS CLUBS’ that swingers hang out at all the time waiting to be picked up. Brissy in the scheme of things is a bit more conservative than most areas and it STILL has at least 4 clubs within 1 hours driving distance of the CBD, and numerous private house parties. Sydney only has 2 clubs, and Melbourne 2. Why not just go to a dedicated club, and relax with a few like minded people. None we have ever been too have any pressure to shag attached to them. The clubs are only as good as the people that go. If you go for a flirt.. then you’ll meet flirtatious couples (in our experience). Cheers Coastalcaper..... xxx

Still missing the point, thanks to all who offer their advice but we are swingers, we hold our own parties, we go to clubs for swinging and enjoy it all, never feel the least bit pressured, love the swinging lifestyle - but all I wanted to know was there something a little more teasing, just go out for an evening and meet with a couple who also want the same thing. We know of couples who have picked up other couples or been picked up out but not in a swingers club. Just wanted to know if anyone had experience of that kind.

Hi there ... we will add our experinces ... We have found The Beat in the valley here in Brissy to be a great flirting place .... A little different though .... not for the homophobic .... We have also had many experiences there as well as Family on a sunday night (Fluffy night) ... Yes you will find it mainly gay but but there is a huge mix of couples who know how to party on these nights without inhibitions .... Family on a Sunday night on a long w/end is huge ... average age is mid to late 30,s ...We are there on most long w/ends if we are in town .... Bring on May Day W/end ....:)

Hi there ... We have had many good experinces at The Beat in the Valley here in Brissy .... Also Family Sunday nights ,long w/ends ... Fluffy Night ! Yes i know what you are all saying ... These venues are predominately gay .... What you will find though, is many couples, also at these venues with their inhibitions let down and also Fluffy Nights ( long w/ends) you will the average age is mid to late 30,s group We get to Fluffy night every long w/end that we are in town for the dance and flirt ... wife loves to run her hands over the topless bodies of the men as we all dance .... Coastal Capers you are one of a few that dont have their tags on them, but i can imagine that you dont as your membership is expired.and i would do the same if i was no longer a member of something THere are over 300 couples out there that do have their tags on them and they show them whenever they come to the club and they are permantly on there keys. So simply look out for the tags and you are one step closer to meeting other like minded adults.
