I like to wear dark/slate blues, charcoal and black but i usually prefer something with a pattern or texture to make it interesting (pin stripes, checks, interesting weave etc) I like vibrant, solid colours on a girl. Something to compliment her shape. I think black on girls is boring, too many girls wear it and it says little about character when you look around a room and see black on every curve they can all look the same. Something not too revealing or that reveals shoulders, back, side of ribs etc... Cleavage there but not relied on... And long rather than short... Legs are great but they are great to explore later ;) Ok getting carried away now :P LS

here's a weird answer for you: i have a mild form of synaesthesia. i'm crap at explaining it, go and google please! but my senses kind of, well, cross over. it means that i "see" colours in things, even ideas, and especially people. everyone i meet has their own "colour" - including my lovers. so when i see that colour aroundabouts, it makes me think of them and smile...

I got the feeling you might, reading one of your earlier posts, probably in the fetish thread. Your description of the ways your more extreme experiences affected you sounded like you might have synaesthesia. I've got a mild form too, mostly colour/word associations, and particularly strong with numbers, dates, days of the week, months, decades, centuries etc. My daughter also seems to have it, as I discovered when she told me a few months ago that Wednesday is red (she's wrong, of course. Wednesday's black).

Interesting MsV…direct path cross neuromotor sensory perception, and can be related to any number of senses either in isolation or conjunction ranging from colour to distance, time, spatiality and even people. Something that I wonder is not present to some extent more commonly than we think and if we choose to believe that it exists…may be what we call intuition or the knowing. Could explain a lot about one of your other posts that I found quite incredible too. Would be interesting to talk to you about that sometime...I rely heavily on intuition and first perceptions. | Oh…sorry, got off the path there. CBD urban is pretty black and white…shades of grey, with the colours in the cravat and expensive shoes. More casual or the other businesses…earth tone Scottish tweeds and pure cotton blue shirts, raw colour linen slacks, levis, t-shirts, oilskin coats…and boots, Colours on women? Whatever you choose…your taste is usually well suited to who you are and the atmosphere of the hour. Of course I could just use my own tag line borrowed from Brian Adams and say... | ...the only thing that looks good on me is you!

Quoting 'Capital'wow ms valkyrie what a complicated facinating intriuging condition, would love to imagine living in your world, maybe a bit like heaven and hell? it's not so dramatic i think - and very mild compared to some :) but then, i can't imagine living without it, so it's hard to say! it's wonderful for sensual things such as listening to music, eating and, well, sex - these convert into a visual and metaphorical kind of experience for me. and although i didn't know much about it at the time, i was able to use it particularly for my HSC - i concentrated on the way i was 'converting' the things i had to remember into coloured and visual cues, and it served me well; i have a photographic memory that's kind of connected to it, but i have to remember to remember things that way. if i try to use my memory like other people, outside of the 'visual' experience, it's almost useless - very fallible :). other things though, like days of the week, are automatically converted to a number of visual 'metaphors' such as colours, that are just an everyday part of life. Monday is white. Tuesday is yellow. it just is. i love Thursdays, because Thursday is fuschia, and i love that colour. so i'm never grumpy on Thursdays :) interestingly, there are tests now that show a lot of people are much more "metaphorical" with their senses than they give themselves credit for - google "kiki bouba" and you'll find a test that nearly everyone automatically passes - converting sounds into shapes. that's a common pathway "cross-over" between the senses that many people share. of course, that has nothing to do with colours at all. but everyone likes an internet test. anyway, i feel like a thread hijacker - back to the topic!

on myself I love emerald green, vibrant blues...definately not pinks, reds, oranges, yellows on him - well little less fussy here dependant on sking tones ad eprsonality determines the colour for him....

I like peacock colours.... vivid teal green, purple, blues, hot pink, red, and metallics - silver, gold and copper... for guys I think classic darker colours like charcoal, stormy blues/navy, black, maybe with a little bit of colour detail/subtle pattern etc are sexy... but then again, I am a sucker for the classic blue jeans and optional white or black bonds singlet look on guys.... On me I prefer to wear jewel tones as it's what suits my colouring. I'm trying really hard to break out of my black rut and sometimes it's difficult! I look terrible in earth tones, blergh. On other people it depends. I know it's a terribly vague thing to say but it really depends on what a person looks like and their personality is. Some men look fantastic in a lilac shirt, others look ridiculous.

LeoSteve - you're golden brown - easy! the colour of lions, and beaches. and yes, the layers of meaning on everything are wonderful - but i can't share them with most people without looking like a weirdo, so it's a little frustrating sometimes! DarkHorse - interesting that you have it! but somehow, that doesn't really surprise me, either. and the father-daughter path seems particularly rife - i get it from my father (he sees music like i do, too). your daughter's right, though - Wednesday IS red! as for you - you're olive green. :)
