Oprah ha ha ha ha she looks funny but if it brings Americans who's economy is in the toilet and also know for not having a passport, let alone knowing there are other countries out there .... but if it does bring a few septic tanks to our fine shores SURE Good Work

I can't believe I am going to give a lesson in Economics. It is called the Tourism Multiplier Effect it defines how many time a tourist dollar is spent in Australia. This is how it works: Say that ALL Australians sace 10% of their money. Now Tourist have spent lets say $ 15,000,000 so $ 1,500,000 is saved and the rest is resent so at cycle 2 we have $ 15M plus $13.5 for $ 28.5M at cycle three Another $ 12.5 M is spent at cycle 4 $ 11M at cycle 5 $10M at cycle 6 $ 9M cycle 7 $8M and there you have $80 mill....so the initial capital injection is probably around $11/12 million the muliiplyer thakes care of the rest :) I am such a geek !!!! Her shows are watched around the world and probably throughout the universe. lol So Australia is being showcased in many countries, not just the economically challenged USA. I think her trip here has been the best thing since the Paul Hogan campaign, The awarness level of Australia throughout the world has been - will be raised and the seed planted in many travel plans for a couple of years or more, the $'s and tourists will keep on coming. I might just toss another shrimp on the barbie as I raise my glass to toast Oprah, I think she is fabulous Its the big 00000000000 for this chicky hehehe

The Oprah Australian shows will be aired in one hundred and fifty countries next year. There will not be too many left who have not heard of Australia nor seen its wonderful, spectacular scenery and friendly people albeit on tv and want to experience it themselves.
