I learnt my knots at rigging school, you might try to purchase a rigging text book or look up online. There are many good knots you can learn that don't draw tighter when you lift and others for lifting points. If your after rope that's a bit nicer on the skin pop into Spotlight or somewhere similar and buy the sash rope used for curtains. The rigging books will show you how to back splice or you can wrap the cut ends in cotton but dab some glue down first to make it permanent.

there's a good book called Ashley's Book Of Knots. its got everything you would ever want to learn about knots. from your simple granny knot, how to tie a bow tie, to bondage applicable knots, to fancy shit you'll never use nor know what to apply it to. there's other books out there but i found this to be the best its basically go every knot in the world in it.

Personally...I prefer silken retaint ropes when playing, and really don't like "Dungeon's and Dragons" as a game. But a triple overhand knot is interesting...it is perfectly comfortable and almost loose feeling if you stay nearly motionless and do not struggle against it. The more pull against the restraints...however, the tighter they become. Loosening them is of course...discretionary. Add a softlly glowing scented candle as the only light in the room, a touch of exotic massage oil...and you may just have an experience to...remember. | Of course you could also try googling "Grog's Knots"....fully animated with instructions and has rope tricks for virutally every kind of "sport" you can imagine. | Or at least that is what I have been told.

hiya balina There are probably lots of places to learn to tie knots, from books to bondage classes, or even you tube !......but i think nothing beats good old fasioned spontanious rope tieng..........my only advice would be to use all cotton rope, as it doesn't burn as much as nylon......and does not tend to come loose as much....... Also a couple of lengths of velcro can also be fun and easy to..lol good luck ...Tam
