  Because it's been in there for more than 1/2 my life. In it's heyday it was colorful titanium, I think it would need to be heated for the colour to return, but that would entail taking it out...

  Mrs Q has nipple rings. She got one done as a trial and days later got the other one done. Next will be a vertical hood piercing if we can leave it alone long enough to heal.

  My dad had quite a few different "charms" he had as earrings. His fave was his parrot ( Jimmy Buffet fan) mine was his maple leaf. When he passed away I had the leaf put on a necklace my girlfriend gave me. So everyday I'm reminded of him and of home. I suppose as a long suffering leafs fan it also reminds me of how much the leafs still suck.
