What is it with all the gripes about topics on the forums. Whinge, wail, blah blah blah...you have a will, why not use it. You don't HAVE to read a thread if it holds no interest for you. Thankfully, the world is made up of 'different' people with 'different' interests. That's why tv's come remotes - so even the laziest bastards out there can change the channel when the one they are on is boring them to tears. Just a thought...

It is somehting I have pointed out often when others are disagreeing with my point of veiw and trying to tell me to keep my thoughts to myself....which happens on a regular basis. Really I have no idea why... l I sometimes get the comment that " Oh but we like the topic...just not your comments." I guess one cannot have it all ones own way. Either we are entitled to our opinions or we are not. It is also easy to just skip the comments from people who annoy you, upset you or thoroughly piss you off.

Yessm, Ms Fiona...everyone can have an opinion - as long as they agree with me . I so agree - why not just skip, move along or completely ignore a thread rather than make issue about what other people see of interest or value. As you rightly point out Fiona, 'either we are entitled to our opinions or we are not'. Imagine how dead the rooms would be if we just wrote (either as a comment or original post) what one person thought was acceptable. BORING...

Yeah I know Mr JJ but I was in the firing line for putting up topics that were deemed to be not in 'spirit' with the forums and I don't agree. I put up posts that were topical. I have only one 'right of reply' and that is through this means so.. I choose to use it. If putting out the fire means 'saying nothing' well, hate to rain on anyone's parade, - but it's not going to happen. All I am saying here is, if you don't like what's being said..then move along. Plenty of people saying plenty of things - which they have a right to, live and let live I say, censorship is for the ABC not RHP.
