You did it...

March 04 2011

Some of the names we use here are "interesting" to say the least....some are just your name, some are cryptic and some are just down right funny. So, what's in a name and why did you choose it? If you have ever thought about changing it....what would it be? | That includes those of you that have more aliases than a smuggler on here, too. | I will start...a horse and business both. | I wouldn't change mine...it seems to suit. Go for it...and even better if you have some hot info about anyone else...| ...and what's behind the name.

We both have a penchant for space/moon etc but that (saturn5)was taken so we took next best option. Apologies here for my delightful friend Miss_Saturn who we shared similar numbers and name with till it got a tad confusing when I discovered the world of forums. P.S whilst I think the whole lunar project was really cool, the "come on lines" I sometimes get in the chatroom about "rings of saturn" "moons of saturn"Uranus..are totally yawn worthy.Like I'm never going to have already heard that one before..Wonders what the "right stuff" dudes have to put up with.Sat65....

Work and play . A drunken night with a friend and thats what you get....noone ever figured out which was which (or where any of it came from) until recently when I said the name of the ocmpany I used to work for...you could see the light bulb turn on in their head after that . Oh and yes tht is an intentional misspell in my name too - again never picked up on (well not spoken to me about it anyway lol) . I have no intention of changing my name...I like it... a bit of nostalgia for me . Kisses Focus

I use a shortened, easier to spell form of Siddhartha, the book I was reading at the time I signed up for my first email account, and therefore needed an alias. This was back before I realized that using some form of your real name for an email account was easier to remember. Anyway, I loved the book, and I guess I was trying to look smart, too :) Plus, Siddhartha is the given name of the Buddha, so that can't hurt, right?

I was truely intrigued & curious and thanks to a couple of mind game playing guys became dis-heartened & dismayed. . So I took a little break, returned knowing that I am a real treasure and a sweet smelling one at that.

I started with a generic GCrob83 and as I started to interact with the community I realised I needed a unique handle and I thought about it. Later on I realised it suited me perfectly as its the same movie with the woman and her 3 puppies.

I was once described as a likeable rogue and it just seem to fit. I kind of like the description as I think it captures my favourite parts of my personality.......have also been described as a wanker but funnily enough wasn't keen to use it as a moniker :) Good topic

Domina is Latin for Mistress or to be accurate it means the woman in charge. Got sick of people assuming it was my name so I changed itI like the title of Mistress. It would be good if they put it on forms instead of Ms or Miss.T is my real initial.

I look for something that is meaningful to me. Names with overtly sexual meanings are just not my style (though they may well describe me to a T!) so I went for something a little more in tune with my geeky side.

Back when I was a young sprite I was out one night with friends in a club somehwere and we were bored and talking rubbish and we invented a toast and called it irresponsibility. The night really picked up after that. Another night, another bit of boredom, and we decided to toast irresponsibility again on the offchance it would pick up the night. It did. I have never toasted irresponsibility and not had a really fun time. I'll even avoid toasting it if I want to have a quiet night. . Up to three people can toast, or 4 if you are careful. Place your drink in your right hand, link arms at the right elbow, say 'to irresponsibility' together, take one sip while arms are linked. Have a sensational night! . It's an annoying name to write, but I won't change it. It's perfect for me :-)

ours started off as mine (Mr O) as it was my particular favourite, but once we became a couple it still seemed appropriate so we kept it. Getting a bit over it now though (the name, not the activity!), but would hate to give it up for someone else to grab it!

I was so green (plus drunk at the time) to signing up to any online site aside from Facebook that the nite i found out about RHP and HAD TO SIGN UP! I didn't realise that my user id as such would be 'the name' that everyone saw (yes i seem to be an honorary blonde at times...). I freaked out that my REAL name was what i appeared to have signed up with eeekkk!!??! But thank god my mate who told be about the site said that 'my handle' was what i had to change?! How embarrassment... sooo outta touch with cyber lingo! I was more concerned that my real name wasn't up to then realise that just because it was a 'sex' site, a 'body part' name wasn't actually necessary.... third time is the charm right? 2 sucky names, need something epic for the third one!
