I dont find them boring at all so long as they are not rambling on a bit. It gives me a bit of an insight to the character of the person and whether or not I would like to chat to them. Short one or two lines isnt going to even get a look in with me! Not enough to inspire me! What gives you the right to assume that people with long profiles are desparate? That they have no life? Some of the most interesting people I have met have had long profiles. I am older than you and I do still enjoy a night out as well but if those on the forums have no life why are you here?
