Why do people assume different identities at the same time, whilst continuing to use the same profile picture for all?

  I have noticed that alot too.... But usually if they disappear for a while it means that they shut the old account and then opened a new one... I believe once you shut your account that username is no longer available, but not sure for how long... Hope that helps in some way xFunlovingx

  Ok, so I am calamityjane as well as iluvtosmile, I have not made any attempt to hide that, even appearing at a Melbourne meet'n'greet under both guises. There may be reasons we do it, but I cannot give reasons for others I can only for my own profiles. Earlier this year I lost a very dear friend of close to 40 years standing (we started prep together in 1972). I had shared many an escapade and bad experience of my time online 'dating' with her, allowing her to live vicariously through me when she was unable to have her own fun. After she died I went into a period of mourning, when I felt a great deal of guilt for having fun, as she was no longer around for her three sons. When I came back on I decided to change my profile whilst not doing away with a part of the old one we had enjoyed together, hence my two names. If I start chatting with a guy and I am interested, I will tell him I am both profiles, and I have not hidden it here in the forums. Hope this helps with your understanding of why some people chose to move on... xxJ

  There are many sides to me .................. each one has its own profile ! At one stage between sarah and I we had 4 .....some with friends, alone, together etc etc Brae ............

  i had two once because when i opened the first one i couldnt get back into it then when i opened the second one, i managed to get into the first one, but then i couldnt shut down the second one but the second one i hardly used and it didnt have any pics but some people have them for all sorts of different reasons some for the forums...some for meeting people...some for just writing erotic stories....some just to keep in contact with friends they have made roxxy
