Definitely keen, recently posted on forum myself how come everything is Brissy or GC. There must be enough people on the Coast to get something regular organised. - Posted from rhpmobile

The reason they are held in those places is because that's where the people organising them live. There's nothing stopping anyone from organising one anywhere. You should give it a go 😏 Copulater l think there used to be a place out in the industrial area at Kunda Park not sure it's still there, that was years ago 🤔

You can put it in the events as a Private Party and be the host. They can be a fair amount of work with organizing but we'll worth it. Not everyone reads the forums. Good luck xx - Posted from rhpmobile

Everyone for the info/advice. I guess the biggest hurdle would be knowing that the cost of the venue abd other expences would at least be covered 🤔 Any ideas..? Maybe pre book and pay..? But I seriously doubt that this would be popular.. - Posted from rhpmobile

Thought Kunda was closed but might be wrong , But the parties are excellent way to network if organised properly, meeting some great people , Even got to chat to Freaky fun (a lovely young lass) the other night , always a bonus to put a face to the name - Posted from rhpmobile

We were thinking renting a house or apartment, but it seems like most of the really nice ones are 3 or 4 night min.. - Posted from rhpmobile

I was organizing parties a few years back and it's hard work on the Sunny Coast. Small town mentality which means people don't want to be seen at parties with other Sunny coasters. Most travel to Brizzy as they think they are invisible there. A few friends have tried and have moderate success. Winter time wouldn't be the best to try as we all hibernate now. You will get better numbers in the warmer times. - Posted from rhpmobile

If people are genuine about attending, paying up front shouldnt be a problem would hopefully guarantee enough people turn up. Would weed out the pretenders !

http://noosa-edge-paradise.com/phone/index.html This place is a naturalist BnB but they also organise swingers parties. I ended up on their mailing list when I was enquirering about hiring their venue for a kink swingers night. It looks like a great place for some fun. The owner is very open to talking on the phone. Give him a call. KC72

I think the venue is key - should attract numbers and make them feel comfortable in maintaining their identity outside of this lifestyle. Copulater- I think unit is the way to go :) - Posted from rhpmobile

And in about 12 months will begin hosting parties, as we did in Melbourne :) Anyplace can be a venue ... a stand alone unit/ house would be best :) Discretion by participants, parking not near the venue, a strict selection process (validations etc) to start off with :) At least one or two hosts should not be playing (till later on) ... they are ‘hosting’ throughout the night. Checking things are ok, etc. Happy to chat further via PM if you like. Mary xx

I've hosted parties and I strongly suggest you host meet and Greets before hand and people are more willing to prepay when they've meet you or word of mouth spreads otherwise you will end up out of pocket. For some reason the swinging scene hasn't take off in the Sunshine coast. It's been that way for years. It's not impossible to change this but will be hard work. - Posted from rhpmobile

As has been said, it has been tried on a few occasions, CI tried in a building near the airport, there were a few turn up but certainly would have been difficult to justify costs based on those that did turn up, I think they ran 2 nights to feel the waters. There’s a guy with a venue running parties out the back of burpengary / kallangur way, not sure what his deal is to run a party there though. There have always been small private gatherings on the coast though if you know people. - Posted from rhpmobile
