ok, not sure if this is what you mean but to whisper to someone privately , if it's a male then type message, better to do a trial first though lol, if couplke then , female is just the same with Make sure you put in both brackets though or whole room will see . If you get name wrong it will tell you to check spelling. hope this is what you meant and am not being the typical dumb blonde lol

the term whisperer is in reply to someone sending them a private whisper. to send a whisper type in that was just an example but who you address it to only they will be able to see it. make sure its always in brackets and put the c, f, m what ever it is before the actual name. Its so people can talk to each other in there without the whole chat room seeing it. Unfortunately, also used as a way to talk about a person who is present in the room without them knowing, not very nice. The best are the messed up whispers that the whole room gets to see. shy

Yes Peachy what ever you type in after the for example can only be read by me ( I hope ) lol. M for the fellas. It is the first item when you pop into the chat room but general chat soon covers it up. Good Luck Dev

If person A wishes to give person B her msn contact detials for example... and not wanting the whole room to see it.. one would whisper... Person A would type [email protected] Where only the sender and the receiver can see the actual whisper: PersonA whispers: blah blah When a person openly said Whisperer, or Whisperette... one is reply to the whisper that the person can only see... and maintain the confidentiality of who sent it. Of course, there is a problem of confusion.. where multiple whispers was being sent to the one person at the same time... :| and yes, make sure you have < > brackets properly before you hit the enter key. Too many mistakes occured to have it shown in public for all to see...

If we typed and then our message in the chat room only you would see it peachy,usually for confidential contact details,double triplecheck before you send a response lol,and make sure you type there whole nic aswell as gender exactly as you see it on the list of roomies on the left brenbob68

Ahhh, I think I worked out what is going on! Those of us who used the brackets made those sections of our posts invisible as it would in chat pmsl. Spot on 17mmmaybe18 ;-) That did help, thank you shan xoxoxo I think I've probably been the subject of those whispers at least once Not2, but I had a fair idea of what was going on, that didn't make it any the more nice for me as you can probably imagine. Guess messed up whispers would be the price to pay lmao, a small one from my point of view, manners cost nothing Devine, I visited a vacant chat room to read and test with success. Mucho gracias... Sparts suggestion that someone might send a 'private message' for passing private detail makes perfect sense and I can imagine some might like to 'chat privately'. :-)

when sending whispers....if you want to have a whispered convo with someone...do their name as you would to whisper...eg... then highlight and control c (copy) it. Then type a generic whisper....eg....just testing...then if it works....for the next whisper, use control v (paste) it...then you dont have to worry about them fucking up. If it fucks up the first time....retype and try again! Also....some get whispers from more than one person....some reply with thanks whisp blue etc depending on their writing colour. Hope this helps! It's ridiculous how difficult it is to privately chat with people. I use the cut and paste of their name to make things easier, but I generally want to chat to more than one person at a time. It really needs to be made a lot easier. It's one of the worst chat set ups I've seen. Oh, and if I click on the profile button nothing comes up... but that's probably cos I'm using firefox...?

I use explorer and nothing happens when I click on the profile button either. It would also be good if you could highlight someone's name in the room list and copy and paste it when you wanted to whisper them. Seems to be alot of bad lag in chat lately too... I would also like symbols you could put next to your name...eg..."away", "wanking", "safe cam" etc. Nothing worse than clicking on a cam and seeing something you didn't want to!!! Also...it would be nice to see when someone has you blocked. Just some suggestions...I still love chatting!!! BJ

just an idea but an easier whisper interface would be useful- say you right click a persons name and select 'whisper' from a drop down menu or if you could just left click a persons name the entire appearsin your text box. I personally don't whisper in chat...just too risky

I think your suggestions are great and if RHP ever implement any of them, I'm sure all in chat will be grateful. Not sure bout taking the fun factor out of stuffed up whispers though ;-) sneaky_n_ZZ... thank you, but you'll have to tell me if that is what you actually wrote...
